Fantastic Sams Franchise Corp Review

I have been here a few times now. twice for my step daughters and recently for myself and I had Layne. Hands down best my hair has EVER looked after having it highlighted! Layne is awesome. They seem to be having some staffing issues so beware of saturdays right now. Very busy and almost NO staff. They were short handed and it took 4 hours there on Saturday. I was annoyed to say the least but the outcome of my hair made it all better! Layne is too good not to be at a more upscale salon!

Wonderful staff and Service!
I came to Fantastic Sams after a bad hair accident. Sticky flypaper got stuck to my long hair and I struggled for 2 hours to wash the glue out. As a result, my hair was damaged, so I came to Fantastic Sams expecting it to be cut short, and thinking I would be judged for this weird accident and the damaged hair.
I was pleasantly surprised, to the point where I will be returning to this place and keep recommending it to everyone!
A nice young lady who works there, Kaley, helped me with fixing the damage and getting a hair cut that I ended up really liking. She was one of the nicest hairdressers I ever worked with. She was kind and understanding and very professional. I am very grateful for how much she helped me.
Additionally, I was also expecting the treatment mask and hair cut to cost me an arm and a leg, but it was very affordable. I also bought the shampoo and conditioner she recommended and my hair has felt amazing since.
I can't thank Kaley and Fantastic Sams enough and will be going there from now on. Thank you!

Got a haircut there yesterday and the hairstylist did better than anyone I've ever had before. Hands down. No lie. Literally did amazing!

I was there yesterday and had the pleasure of having Neka cut my hair. She did a "fantastic" job. Loving my layers.

I give only 2 stars because they are NOT working this shop as a "walk in" salon. I've been a customer for some time and went in recently, talked to my favorite stylist, who said only 2 people were signed up for her ahead of me, and it would be about an hour. I went off to have a sandwich and came back. Then the shop management told me that because another stylist did not come in to work, they were giving my stylist her customers -- "but we'll work you in."

Not right since I was signed up before. They should have worked the OTHER stylists' people in after me especially since she was NOT there for them to even sign up for. I asked who else had an open chair and got her to cut my hair. This is NOT RIGHT.

Caley at this Fantastic Sams location is great. She gives a great haircut while being sweet, friendly and professional.

Horrible customer service! Walked in with two others waiting. No one greeted me. After about 10 minutes one of the people waiting left. I asked the other person how long she had been waiting and she replied about 20 minutes. Looked like one stylist was working. I left after waiting about 20 minutes of absolutely no acknowledgment. Will never go back!

I love how Selen does my hair every time I go. She always makes sure I feel great and the service is awesome. I totally recommend her for your service. She never fails to satisfy me.

You have got to go here off Erin. Emily is amazing. She knows her stuff. Great lady to talk to . she has turned some hair nighmares in to a beautiful hair cut. I absolutely her.

Really hate it when you go in with 5 pictures of one haircut, and still they cut it wrong. my hair was down to almost to shoulders. had it cut cut short. picture cleary showed back scissor cut but she use razor , cut almost bald. top showed hair long enough to comb all the way to back of head. she cut it two inches long wont comb back at all. wish id gind someone who actually looks at what you want before they start cutting.

Janet is awesome! She is such a personable professional who has perfected her talent. I am so thankful she brought it to Memphis and made looking good affordable!

A clean place to get one's hair cut. A step above a barber shop, I think any normal person would be comfortable here.

Fantastic Sams is amazing. First I went there with hair down to my butt and decided to make a drastic change we did it in steps and I got a beautiful Bob at a comfortable length for someone has used to long hair by Emily. Well I made a mistake and went to another hair salon by the name of Supercuts and although I specifically explain to them what I needed done they butchered my hair it was by far the worst haircut I've ever had done. So I called Fantastic Sams the very next morning and went there promptly after work I showed Emily the disaster on my head and she performed a miracle she always does so well and her and Selena are the sweetest people I've ever met. My hair looks phenomenal now she has great technique and takes her time and not to mention loves what she does which makes a huge difference she turned a nightmare into a dream come true I will never go anywhere else again

I absolutely love this place. I was very nervous abt getting my hair cut but Janet made it very easy. She was very personal and did an amazing job. I will be goin back.

Cannot follow simple instructions, no one was in the store yet she still blitzed through my hair in 10 to 15 minutes. I had long curly hair that was reaching my lips and ears from the top of my scalp, and I held my hair in front of my face and showed I wanted 2 and a half inches off the top, and an undercut on the sides and back. A year and a half of hair growth gone in minutes. Barely 2 inches left on top, no undercut, sides and back are pretty shaggy too. I asked her to cut the sides and back down a little more, and she told me "I'd have to cut the top down more too" so I stopped before anymore damage was done.
It isn't a terrible haircut, just not at all what I asked for clearly.
