The cleanliness and quality of the rooms can be regarded as 99 points. I stayed for two days on the 36th anniversary of my marriage this time and I feel very good. The colleagues at the front desk and room service are very polite and caring about the guests. The food is also good. The swimming pool and fitness room are very well controlled.

I didn't stay here but stopped in one of the shops. This hotel is very high end and definitely high class. If you want to go stay here for the night, expect to shell out big bucks! There are. Lot of fancy shops and great (and expensive) dining options. Security is definitely going to look you over before letting you into a shop so dress nicely and look sharp or expect to be restricted in going into a shop.

The Peninsula Hotel, rich in history, core values, and magnificent, wants to go back to Hong Kong every time they return to Hong Kong, and the quality of food is always maintained.

The room was a little dated and the hotel clientele aren't what they used to be. The staff could be better, though they do apologise profusely when they make an error, unfortunately the errors are little bit too frequent. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location, lots of shops and close to the star ferry. A good place to stay but not the best HK has to offer.

Solid place to stay. The view facing the island is best, especially at night--leave the blinds open for a movie-like experience! Unfortunately there's no Michellin restaurant in-house, you'll have to cross the street to the Intercontinental. Otherwise, the restaurants in-house are perfectly fine, if not better. For tourists on a bit of a budget it's within acceptable walking distance to the MTR (especially considering the hot, humid weather!)

Had the dinner at the restaurant called Felix to celebrate birthday. Was expecting much since it costed almost two thousands per person for the tasting menu. Have to say, just nothing special. Not like the food is bad or anything, just that nothing that I will say taste exceptional. The plating looks nice but also confusing at the same time. It is kinda confusing how to start eating. Overall, I would say the food is good but just not that good to worth so much. If the price is around one third, I may consider going, but two thousands just no a chance.

Service attitude is very good! Because I and my girlfriends went to the hotel late at night, they ordered the breakfast early, but because of the use of one of the tablets, the order was stuck and it was displayed wrong. We made the wrong time to book 5am in the morning. Later, we told the staff. Let him 9am send it again. Later, 9am was delivered on time and the attitude was very good. Check out the reaction to this problem. The receptionist immediately said sorry really good!

Of course, solid 5! In Hong Kong, the general problem is to find a room in a hotel without a reservation. But here we were lucky and we settled in a chic room overlooking the Victoria Strait! The price is not very low, but it's worth it!)

The Peninsula is one of the most famous and historical hotels in Hong Kong. Her lobby serves great afternoon tea and dinner. Its quality would never fail you. Do try her Spring Moon restaurant. Fantastic!

The number one hotel in HK. If you have spare money, go and experience it. You may get the luxury of having one of their Rolls Royce to pick you up from the airport.
Everything is done to the grandest style, you are treated like Royalty, go on just pamper yourself.

The Chinese food on the third floor is very good and the snacks are very delicate. The afternoon tea in the underground lobby is often lined with long dragons. I like the afternoon tea pastries here, and the Earl Grey is also very fragrant.

Waited over 2 hours, for high tea, probably should have tried going during the week instead of a Sunday, kind of disappointing mass produced cakes, didn't get the tea I ordered right. Cocktails got them an extra star.

I went for the afternoon tea in the lobby with my cousins. The staff there were extremely friendly and polite, the atmosphere was really comfortable but felt luxurious, and I particularly enjoyed the Christmas theme. We went to the front desk first and Jason at the front desk was really helpful in directing us to the right place for tea. He was warm and welcoming and really made us feel happy to be there. Service at the lobby for tea was also excellent; they used English to explain the difference between the teas to me and recommended which one went with the scones. They were happy to take photos of us, they were attentive when we needed more hot water or clotted cream, etc. I can't speak to the rooms since I didn't stay overnight, but I went to use the washroom and there was an employee inside who was stationed there to open the door, keep the washroom clean, and she even apologised when the stalls were full and I had to wait. She was kind and considerate and smiling the whole time. Location was great, I took the bus and it was easy to get to, but my cousins got lost and went to the wrong hotel because there were so many hotels in the same area. I did hear from my cousins that the Peninsular is really strict with their employees, which did disappoint me because though I really appreciated the amazing service from everyone, I would hate to think that everyone is forced to act that way. I hope the hotel genuinely appreciates their staff. I'm sure the staff deal with difficult visitors and customers on a regular basis, and from the level of professionalism and understanding that I saw in the staff, I would feel better knowing that the staff enjoy working there. Everyone was so attentive no matter where I went within the hotel, and all smiles. My only "constructive criticism" would be that considering the cost of the tea, I didn't find that the food met my expectations. I may be more used to a "western taste" but I've had high tea in Canada and England and preferred those over the one I had here in Hong Kong. But it might just be my personal taste. Overall I really enjoyed my visit to the Peninsular and the experience was definitely worth my time and money! I wish I had the opportunity to stay a night, but the tea was already fantastic.

The Peninsula is, along with Mandarin Oriental, one of Hong Kong's most iconic hotels. We had the "lowest end" room but everything was fine. While the bedding is hard (this is the standard in Asia) but mostly electronic equipment is the tip. Well I'm probably more sensitive than others on these points but I appreciated the chargers qi and usb everywhere, the international hi-fi system and all gadgets as useless as necessary for a hotel in this range. The pool is beautiful even if indoors. Home automation again: there is music under water! The service is impeccable.

Queen of HK hotels, oozing grace and charm. Indoor pool is best in HK.Wonderful stay, in tasteful room full of delights. Each item is of the highest quality and well thought-out in every detail.

Taking off a star as in room dining menu is lacklustre in choice and quality, should be able to do much better given impeccable standards in all else. Gaddis is the best restaurant on-site.

You never want to leave, this is like a slice of paradise snuck into a corner of Kowloon.

A beautiful hotel, the afternoon tea is spectacular - with delicious food and drink for a very reasonable price by Western standards. Unlike the other reviews I've seen, we found tables were turned around very quickly, and the service was really friendly and personable - as well as attentive. The queue is extremely long however, with no seating. We queued for about an hour. Most people get there early for the 2pm start of the high tea service, and the queue goes very slow for the next two hours. Then as the first batch of people start to leave around 3/4pm, the queue rapidly clears - hope that's helpful to others.

Before you go, explore The Peninsula Arcade! A sort of shopping mall for some of the top elite brands in the world INSIDE the hotel! Quite unique.

Awesome dessert at a reasonable price. Excellent ambience and service. Last but not least Penisula supports Hongkongers - provided shelters to freedom fighters when most needed. Thank you for standing with us.
