Late night cravings were totally satisfied with these lovelies. Damn fine cup of coffee.

Was not given service after ~30 minutes of waiting.

The service and the food are exceptional as always, i don't think i have ever had a bad experience here. The prices for the food are a little expensive but the serving sizes and quality are well worth it in my opinion

I've been through here a few times and had a few different orders from the menu, and although some have been good, a lot more of them have been not as great.

Most of the time, the pancakes themselves either have no taste or have an overwhelming doughy taste to them... Even found that a lot of the additions you'd usually use (Syrups, sauces, etc.) Do very little to change or improve the taste.

Some of the staff are friendly, but there are quite a few who were just straight to the point and looked/acted like they didn't give a stuff.

Not exactly the best experiences I've had, but will only ever go back if my friends are wanting to.

Me and my friend just had pancakes here. The service was very poor. We kept waiting for the waitress to take our order but no one came and I had to go to the reception to let them know. It was obvious from the waitress s face and body language that she didn t want to take our order. Definitely won t come here again.

Their pancakes are amazing definitely going back and the staff were very nice

Disorganised and disappointing: items on group order wrong a missed. Staff seemingly incapable of managing despite sophisticated electronic systems in place to ameliorate human error.

On January first 12:00pm myself and a group were seated at pancake parlour Melbourne central. Orders taken on the app within 5 minutes of arriving, as well as double checking with 2 waiters that we ordered correctly. Half the meals arrived an hour later, no drinks we had asked again waited another half hour still no food. We politely checked many times with multiple staff members after the 40 minute mark as surrounded tables were getting food and drinks despite arriving significantly after us. We did get refunds for the people who didn t receive food however am still extremely aggravated and upset with such poor service. I ve never experienced such rudeness or disorganisation and urge the restaurant to refresh themselves in customer service.

Is not really good (using prices in order to expect something). Food quality is avarage, but will cost you double. Definitely they can improve if they are going to charge more than average for a good meal.

This place is one my favorites in Melbourne. The pancakes with ice cream and chicken crepe are the ones I love here. Good ambience and service.

received soggy pancake and found maggots in my fruit, i was disgusted, never come again. Should've gone to San churro or something i questioned myself whether i really wanted Pancakes before ordering, should've just walk out of the store

Went here with my best friend, food came out quickly, great servers, we also got the seat we wanted! The pancakes were really good and the atmosphere is very nice. It was $35 for us both together so it was really nice

I'd like to thank our server Christian who was super nice about sorting out some hot chocolate that came out a bit less than 'hot'. On a chilly Friday night that friendliness and service was very, very welcome. Thanks Christian!!

Place is decent and the food is pretty good but the staff always seem really overworked and tired

Food was very tasty however the bacon was served cold, and the experience was ruined by appalling customer service. We waited over 30 minutes for 1 milkshake to arrive and over 40 minutes for two meals. The waitresses were clumsy and rude when asked about the status of meals or mistakes were addressed. Customers that arrived after us received food/drinks before us, and it was obvious that a lot of customers were unhappy with their experience - service and food as well. Would not recommend.

Normally a fan of Pancake Parlour, but THIS location was the worst service - worst part was management lying to me that the special berry pancakes at the time came as plain pancakes, without any topping at all. More shocking details below.
My initial order was not only forgotten, as I watched at least 2 later, full family tables receive their meals, but no-one even checked on me sitting with nothing. I ordered some special desert pancakes, the ones which advertise the special topping, and they arrived WITHOUT THE PANCAKE TOPPING! I asked my waitress, who said that was how it is. The MANAGER, said that is how it is. A third waitress I asked, finally managed to get me the topping for the pancakes. So to confirm, berry pancakes DO come with berries. If a manager doesn't realize berry pancakes should come with at least some berries, they shouldn't be a manager there! Funny how that manager didn't ask me how my experience was while I was paying, in front of the lines of people waiting... I regret not speaking up even though she only told me the price and strategically didn't ask (which as far as I recall, I've always been asked about my experience at Pancake Parlour whilst paying) And it definitely has been a long while, but I finally got around to it!

Delicious food and great service by the staff. Clean and calm ambience. Will definitely be back again !

Was incredibly disappointing compared to other pancake parlours. It seemed that the standards of food were far below what I have come to expect.

The blueberry pancake I ordered was undercooked and doughy, with the bottom so soft and damp that the blueberries were falling out of it as I lifted it with my fork.

I don't expect I will return while there are so many better options around.

Prompt and friendly service with fast and tasty meals.

Very disappointed that they charged a 10% surcharge on Mother s Day - it s not a public holiday, just a busy day the Pancake Parlour knew they could capitalise on. The food was, on the whole, fine but the salad was appalling - limp, mushed lettuce (see photos). Totally inedible. The staff were great (but sadly not benefiting from the 10% surcharge!).

Good service and good quality food. Can get very noisy so you can hardly hear people across the table. Convenient location. Clean toilet.
But expensive, especially drinks. Poor choice of very pricey booze - eat there then drink somewhere else.

The servings are so big there's almost no way you'll finish your food. Asked to take the rest home.

Great place with plenty of vegan options. Went there yesterday with a group of 15 for my birthday. We were served by Saxon (unless I misheard) and they were awesome. 10/10 experience!

A nice restaurant with really helpful staff, one of the better Pancake Parlor's I've been to since the staff are very helpful. The food is affordable if you have a coupon but otherwise can be quite expensive.

The Pancakes we got were burnt and unpleasant to eat. My boyfriends bacon was overcooked. Only enjoyable thing about the visit was the corona.

I got lost trying to find this place but when I eventually got there it was welcoming and their pancakes are lovely. I will definitely come back sometime.

It's a fun place and generally reliable when it comes to food - pancakes that are either sweet or savoury.
Unfortunately the long wait to actually get served and the wait for a simple hot chocolate to arrive after ordering ( it took 15 minutes!!) was disappointing to say the least. Then another 15 minute wait for the waiters to come and take our main orders.
You could hardly blame the waiters though - there were 3 waiting staff Zeevar, Micky and Michael who did an exemplary job but were also run off their feet , (one of them, Michael, was also working behind the bar but helped with waitering). My estimation was that there were about 45 customers seated. This is just not on.
Management need to pull their greedy fingers out and provide more staff to carry out orders. To give you our examplee we arrived there around 6.45pm and ended up leaving around 10.30pm. It shouldnt take this long to get initial drinks and a main meal.
This is why you only get 2 stars.

While I've always been happy with the food here, the speed of service is just terrible! The staff do the best they can but having 4 or 5 floor staff in a restaurant this size is just ridiculous. The management seriously need to reconsider their staffing levels. We considered leaving at several points, like the table next to us did. If you're not in a hurry, sure head in but be prepared to be super patient. After 3 or 4 visits over several years, the service has not improved and we won't be back. Give one of the cafes in Hardware Lane a go. That's what we'll be doing from now on. They at least want your business!

Every time I eat here I underestimate the size of the servings and how much I can eat before being sick. 10/10 will come back and do the same thing again.

Dined on a Friday morning, we weren t provided cutlery till after our meals arrived, the waitress forgot and had to go get some. Our coffees were brought to us after our meals were finished and sat in booth L4 and was surrounded by significant amounts of dust on the ledge next to us. The table that has the self serve water has the same dust on it and I was disappointed to see there was a woman walking around in the kitchen with her hair out and no hair net of any kind. Overall enjoyed the pancakes, regular stack. Food is good and filling.

I took my kid here yesterday. The place was packed so staff were busy to be fair. The drinks came after the food which was disappointing as I was thirsty and I was tempted to get them myself as they were just sitting there for at least 10 minutes. I tried to get staff's attention unsuccessfully. The food was actually decent but I asked for a straw for my kid which never arrived. Overall good but let down below average service.

Have changed their menu, didnt have the menu item i wanted. Had short stack and was not up to usual standard.

Food was lovely, however the customer service was below average. Did not ask how our meal was, coffee was bitter and not very friendly staff.

As usual banana split was sinfully delicious. Friendly service but it was a bit slow even though it wasn't that busy.

Wouldn t recommend as Meals were cold and we were not able to eat as a group. We ordered together and there was a 15 minute gap between items coming out. Asked to cancel the order and not bother with the rest. Only 1 person ate in the end. Bad experience. Staff were slow, rude and didn t want to provide any table service as it seemed like a chore.

Delicious as always. Table was a touch sticky but service and food were great.

I registered a year ago so I had a promo for members and get spammed for it weekly but I changed my mobile number (I travel a lot and change it constantly) and turns out I cant get it if I dont have that one. Had to pay the regular as I wasnt given the chance to look up the information and I only went in because of the promo.

The BEST GF pancakes I ve had so far, so happy I found this place! They have plenty other GF options, too, and late breakfast until 5 pm.

Delicious food with a charming aesthetic; pancake parlour is a great place to have lunch, dinner, or an event with friends.
While a little pricy, their pancakes are delicious, their chicken parmigiana cooked well, and staff generally friendly.

Food took way to long to arrive. Food was cold, and messily served. Food was over priced and a waste of money.
