This place was beautiful my niece just had her wedding there.

Been here for a few work meetings. Nice space to meet and get stuff done. Food has also been good each time.

The Palace at Somerset Park is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the indoor spaces are as regal as a real-life palace. We had both our ceremony and our reception here, and they were both beautiful. Our recent November wedding at The Palace was INCREDIBLE, and the majority of that credit goes to their amazing, attentive, and dedicated staff. Our wedding planner, Kara, was always available (even on her days off) and went out of her way to make sure every detail was taken care of. Our Maitre D, Richard, and bridal attendant, Jordan, made they day run so smoothly and took care of every little detail. When my Father-in-Law's bowtie broke, Jordan was there to fix it. When I needed to change my shoes, Richard was on the floor helping me tie my laces. They took care of EVERYTHING so that my husband and I could enjoy every minute of our wedding. The food is OUTRAGEOUS, and our guests could not stop talking about how delicious (and how abundant) the food was throughout the night. I also had a guest who told me that our wedding cake (which was a custom design, created by their pastry chef) was the most delicious cake they've ever eaten! Booking your wedding at The Palace is worth every penny, and I wish we could do it all over again, just to relive the magical experience!

My Husband and I had our reception at the Palace in the East Wing on July 26, 2013. Everyone at the Palace went above and beyond our expectations. We felt at ease and comfortable throughout the planning process. We had guests from all over the USA and Europe and they all said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! The staff at the Palace treats your wedding like it was their own. The day of our wedding we had to adjust our bridal party table and Michelle, our wedding planning, took complete control of the situation and it turned our BEAUTIFULLY!!! Justin Di Bianca and his staff did an amazing job with the food. It was amazing and people raved about it! Our cake was out of this world. We gave Michelle a picture of what we wanted it to look like and when it came out it was a mirror image of what we wanted. I could not have asked for anything more from the Palace. They truly exceeded our expectations and we would without hesitation have our reception at the Palace again.

Very classy and upscale. Was the for a PMI event, and loved the ambience amd and food.

Recently my daughter was married and her reception was held at the Somerset Palace. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone interested in a friendly, organized, detailed oriented group. From the chef to the wedding coordinator to the bridal attendant, I was truly impressed. The food was outstanding and the compliments from guests are still coming! Everyone involved was dedicated in making sure that all guests were taken care of. This venue truly gave us the opportunity to have a worry-free wedding!

Beautiful place, seems as though it would be perfect for a wedding. Also has several hotel options within a 1/4 mile, so that's a plus when planning am event for out-of-towners.

Best place for parties. Love the food and the atmosphere! Love coming here for company events. The whole staff is awesome!

Such a beautiful, magical venue. It truly exceeded all our expectations. All the food at the cocktail hour, and the dinner's were absolutely delicious. Top notch staff and Matre' d David attended to every detail with out missing a beat. Professional & simply amazing. Our guests are still raving about the Fantastic Fireworks display which left them in awe. The dessert display and wedding cake were magnificent. Do yourself a favor, and check out the Palace - it's by far the best hidden gem in Central NJ.

I have attended this place for multiple business functions and a wedding. This place is magnificent. The people go out of the way to help and get what is needed. The food service is wonderful and delicious. The interior design is glamorous, classic and clean. You feel like king or queen when there.

My family hosted my sister's wedding at The Palace on December 12th, and it was simply a fantastic experience. The quality of the venue, the service, the food and the overall organization was second to none. David P (our maitre'd) and LaTonya (bridal assistant) stood out as kind, courteous and thoroughly professional. They did more than what was required to provide us a first class experience and were always available for any questions or requests that we had.

I cannot recommend The Palace enough!

I just went there today for a tour and to discuss having my wedding there. The place is really good and seems like it would be great for a wedding but the event consultant, Jose, was really not friendly at all. In fact, I don't think he ever really smiled once during our 1 hour appt. I felt like we were bothering him with our questions and he just couldn't wait to get rid of us. Too bad because this place really did seem ideal, but for the price you would think they would make sure the first person you meet representing the venue would be friendly and warm. :(

Went here for a wedding. Was absolutely lovely and the fireworks were an added bonus!

Place is clean and roomy. I was frustrated with wait/ bus staff. I got up to use the restroom and my barely touch meal was thrown away. I asked the staff and nobody could give an explanation or even an apology.

I don't think this website has enough characters for my to express how much I loved getting married at The Palace. Everything was amazing from the moment I stepped foot on the property. It is absolutely stunning. I was given the tour by Kara who was extremely sweet and helpful. My planner was Traci-Joan who is a saint. I don't even know how many emails I sent her, but she responded to each one in a timely fashion and helped me create my perfect day.

Richard was our Maitre'D and Maya was our bridal attendant. They were absolutely amazing. They made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it and were smooth and calm and collected. Maya anticipated every need we had and even hemmed a pair of pants for a groomsmen. I can't imagine how we would have gotten through the day without them. They are truly the best part about getting married at the Palace. They made everything stress free and easy and allowed me to really enjoy the day.

The grounds of the Palace are gorgeous and we were able to take pictures all around. The bridal suite looks like something out of a Jane Austen novel and had everything we needed. We got married on the Gatsby's Terrace on the East side and it was like a fairy tale.

The East Ballroom was like a dream. We entered as husband and wife from the staircase and looked down as hundreds of our friends and family cheered for us. I can't even explain how amazing it felt. When I walked down that staircase on my first visits, I knew that was where I was going to get married.

The food was exquisite. We were sent home with a couple of dinners as well as a container of desserts from the Viennese Hour. The cake was delicious and we were told by people who don't eat cake, that ours was delicious. If your guests don't like cake, don't worry about it, the Viennese Hour will fill them up. It took my breath away and I knew it was coming. Our guests were in awe.

I am sure that I am missing something, but I really just want to express that our wedding at the Palace was exactly what I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl and I wish I could go there for someone else's wedding so I could enjoy the food and ambiance without entertaining 200 people. It was a dream come true.

I like everything about this place. As I walk in, I said this is beautiful and as the night went along I was empress by everything. Then we were standing watching at the beautiful bride and handsome groom walking down the stairs,
all excited, went back to my table and the envelope with money for the bride and groom was gone. Told management and to date did not find it. Note: there are cameras everywhere. I don't believe they don't know who stole my card with money and I am very disappointed.

Been to many formal event's. Staff is great and food is aswell.

The food and the service has always been exceptional here consistently. I have been to numerous events from business functions using the entire building to a small wedding.

Our experience at The Palace was nothing short of extraordinary! Every detail of the entire night was extremely well planned and executed. Our coordinator (provided by the venue) helped answer all of my crazy questions, spoke with vendors and even gave me ideas when I needed help making decisions. On the day of, our Maitre De was THE MAN. He was like a secret service agent with his secret communication device, checking on every detail. He ran every intimate detail by us, accommodated special requests and continued to be by our sides throughout the day and night. Each time I needed him he was there within 2 minutes. He made sure I got something to eat during cocktail hour (he literally made me a plate of what I wanted), got me a drink when I asked and facilitated all aspects of the night. My bridal attendant was my shadow throughout the night, carrying and fluffing my train during pictures, carrying my lipstick in her pocket so I could refresh whenever I wanted and even ran up to the bridal suite to grab my sparkly flip flops when I was ready to change my shoes. A week later, my guests are still talking about the incredible food and service. Many commented it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. My husband and I had were given the wedding of our dreams by the incredible staff at The Palace and we couldn't be more thankful! We highly recommend this beautiful venue for any event!!

From start (visiting The Palace) to finish (whining because the evening had come to an end and we had to leave) The Palace and it's staff was AMAZING... Extraordinaire. Jose, Alex, David, and Stef... whom we worked with at The Palace assured us from planning to execution that our day would be great and they proved right. While BIG to the eye, the comforting smiles and charm of the workers and classical decor/ style of the venue made me feel at home. Myself and my now wife were so comfortable. For not second were we confused or feeling out of loop. The planning The Palace does behind the scenes complimented all the hard work we did in planning the wedding. The physical beauty of The Palace is indescribable but let's just say it melts your heart. The Palace was the perfect venue for my vintage/romantic/shabby chic wedding. The backdrop on the terrace along with our added vintage doors set the scene for my wife and I becoming one. Soft, charming....it screamed LOVE is in the air. THE FOOD IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD EVER! You will not be disappointed. I am not just saying that I AND ALL 170 of OUR GUEST had the same reaction. In fact, my wife stated on our engagement video how the food is one of the top things she looked forward to on that day. I can just taste the short beef ribs now! And our cake... aweeee.. I showed the picture of what we wanted and they came through 100%! And the fireworks were the perfect finishing touch... BOOM! I will never stop talking about this day and the great job The Palace did. 7.19.2015 will be stamped as one of the greatest days in my life and The Palace's history..lol. To The Palace we say Thank you and keep up the exquisite work. You have left a lasting impression on my heart and I will find a reason to return there for another event... anniversary :-)

It was alright..not what its hypes up to be. The flow of the rooms and transitions during the party were poor and the sound system and visuals were terrible..if you have a large party half your guests wont see or hear a thing when the main event begins... really disappointing... food was cold...servers were rude...overall just wouldn't spend my money here and couldn't enjoy the party

Great place to host events like weddings and banquet. Amazing food and great service. The place is decorated well and can hold up to a variety of guests for special events.

An elegant venue. Beautiful and modern. Well lit and very clean. The staff was pleasant, friendly and professional. The food was fantastic. Everything was first class. Everyone was very accommodating to all the guests. I will recommend this place to everyone.

Large function facility. Well maintained, but the decor is gaudy and the big hall is deafeningly loud when full. Don't like the acousticsm

My husband and I had our dream wedding at The Palace on 6/2/19! Everything was perfect on our wedding day and we could not have asked for a better team to help make our day magical. We had Josh and Stephanie helping us throughout the day and we cannot say thank you enough to these two! Our wedding was seamless and stress-free because of Josh and Stephanie. Everyone was in awe of how amazing everything looked and could not stop talking about the delicious food options. Even our wedding planner and sales manager, Alex and Kara, were extremely helpful throughout the process. Both individuals were very responsive and informative whenever we had questions. Overall I would recommend using The Palace at Somerset Park to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It was definitely worth every penny!

Beautiful venue for functions and excellent service

We had our wedding at the Palace this past November and although we had to cut our guest list basically in half, we had the most perfect day. During the planning process, the Palace was so accommodating and flexible. Our wedding planner Alex F and the director of catering Jose were the people we planned most of our wedding through. They were always readily available for answer questions and talk about the next steps in regards to our wedding. They always emailed or called us back super fast. This team is very dependable and understanding.
They will work with you to get anything you want or need for your wedding day. The Palace takes care of any concerns and lets you just enjoy your way as a bride and groom.

My mom, sister, bridesmaids, and in laws were obsessed with the bridal suite. It was perfect, clean, and spacious. That should be a selling point for you guys, I have been in 7 weddings prior to my own and nothing measured up to the Palace's bridal suite. My husband also was able to arrive at the venue early and get ready with his groomsmen which he really appreciated. Usually there are not any designated areas for the groom and friends to get ready at venues.

The food was outstanding. Our cocktails, cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert was all served because of COBID-19 restrictions but the feedback from our guests was that they all enjoyed being served so much better. The food was outstanding!! SOOOOO good; everyone was raving about the delicious entrees and the cookies they got to take home at the end of the night. The servers apparently took very good care of their tables as our guests told me how attentive everyone was.

The grounds are so well kept, we took the most amazing pictures during daylight hours with the flowers in the background and at the with the Palace lit up as the backdrop. There is so much space in the east ballroom, our guests were very well spread out and all felt comfortable attending our wedding.


The bride and groom have bridal attendants assigned to them for the day, I had Ashley and Breanna who were so attentive and helped us and our family out through out the day. Ashley had to sew one of the groomen's pants the ripped. She greeted us with cocktails the second we walked down the aisle after our wedding ceremony which really stuck out in my our mind as a great detail.
I cannot say thank you enough to everyone. Once the world gets back to better times, have your wedding here!! You, your family, friends, and vendors will have an amazing time and the most perfect wedding day. There isn't enough good things to say about our experience here.

I saw someone comment on Google on how harsh the Palace was when trying to figure things out during the Pandemic. Please do not listen to that individual. The Palace and every other business / venue / person has never experienced such drastic times and changes that we are experiencing right now. This is all new territory and planning a wedding is frustrating to begin with. Jose and Alex and everyone else we spoke to prior to actually having our wedding really did try to manage our expectations while keeping us happy and accommodating all our requests. You are not going to find people more understanding than this group. Again to reiterate, the Palace is huge so even if there are social distancing measures for your wedding, you won't even notice a difference. And your guests will be happy to be there and feel safe.

This place is AMAZING. Came here for a corporate event and the layout is fantastic. Staff is very good. Food was fantastic. Have a unique lighting system in their main hall that adds extra flare to an event.

I can t wait to come back and experience this place.

My husband and I got married on 7/19/19 and had our reception at The Palace. To say The Palace exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. From the very beginning, when touring The Palace (after touring several venues) we knew it was the place for us. Kara, the person who took us around, was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and really worked with us and our budget so that we would be able to have our reception at The Palace. She was by far the nicest tour guide we had at any of the venues we had visited, and truly made visiting The Palace for the first time so great.

Next we were assigned Alexandra as our wedding planner. Like Kara, Alexandra was absolutely amazing. She answered any question we had, helped us with whatever we needed, gave us advice on things we were not sure of, and was always there for us no matter the day or time. Alexandra helped us with picking our menu, and even allowed us to switch some things up within our menu in order to cater to my big Italian family.

Our wedding day was absolutely magical, to say the least, and a huge part of that was David, our Maitre D. Everyone says that your wedding day can be super stressful, and my husband and I did not feel stressed at all, mainly because of David. From the moment we met him a few days before our wedding, he was so welcoming and unbelievably knowledgable about our wedding timeline, when and where things should go, and even how to place our decor! David is definitely a jack of all trades, is so professional and personable, and made our planning process so easy. He made our wedding day go extremely smooth and cared for us, our family and friends like we were his own. Numerous members of our bridal party and guests at our wedding raved about him, saying how helpful he was with anything and everything anyone needed. Even my parents and my husband's parents said David was so attentive to them, making sure they had whatever they needed, like making sure the bartenders knew what they were drinking so our parents did not have to wait in line at the bar to get a drink. Like I said, David made our wedding run so smooth and took any stress we could have possibly had off. We truly felt like he was a good friend of ours, instead of just our Maitre D, and we are so grateful to have had him.

The Palace is by far the best wedding venue in New Jersey, and truly cares for the couples that get married and have their receptions there. They take the time to get to know you, and make you feel like you are a member of their family. They go above and beyond for their brides and grooms, and we know we made the best decision by choosing to have our wedding reception there. We cannot wait to go back for the Twice Upon a Time party next year!

I'm writing as a vendor. I do wedding photography & videography and I shoot at a TON of venues. Most venues treat vendors horribly to the point that we feel like animals. That is NOT the case with The Palace. Let me just first start off by saying David the Maitre D is beyond amazing. He not only goes above and beyond to make sure the couple is taken care of but also all of the vendors. He is extremely relaxed and on top of everything! I have never in my 15 year career as a wedding photographer worked with a venue and person more awesome than the people at the Palace.

Secondly let me talk about how delicious their food is! Usually wedding venues give you horrible food because they have to cook it in bulk, but their food is all on point!

Lastly let me point out that I NEVER write reviews and i felt the need to write this review because of how awesome they treat us there. Thank you guys! And I hope that David reads this review as well!!

Absolutely amazing location. I attended a wedding there - truly glamorous with real good food!

Food was over the top awesome. From oysters,shrimp and clams to sliders and charcuterie, everything was top notch and the chateaubriand was insanely good. I was stuffed but had to eat it! I loved the place!!!

The service was great except for one person. Her name is Ivana and she had a very bad attitude.

My daughter got married at The Palace in May and it was a spectacular event. The Palace is a gorgeous formal venue where you can get married outside on a balcony or inside in a ballroom or the Grand Foyer. There is a West House and an East House which means two weddings or events can be going on at the same time. I was concerned about this but they assured us we wouldn't even know there was another event going on and they were right. Parking is separate, start times are staggered, there's no access between events, and we didn't even hear their music.

Choosing The Palace for our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. After taking a tour and going over the details, it was even better than I had imagined. We booked our wedding without even stepping into another venue. More

Amazing venue! Attend a wedding there at the end of May.... from walking in the door to a glass of champagne to the cocktail hour, entrees and desserts! The cutting of the cake on the portico and the fireworks ending - everything was awesome!

Terrible experience. In what world is it policy that you can't take your food with you home. Even after speaking with the manager he claims it's policy not to take the food that is right in front of me. To anyone thinking about having your party here, don't it's not worth the trouble if your guests leave unhappy.

Just do it. Stop looking at other venues, stop asking for other people's opinions, this is where you need to have your wedding! While pricey, it was the best decision I made as a bride. The service is impeccable, each person goes above and behind to make every detail of your special day. I had the honor of working with Alex (planner), David (Maitre D'), Maya (Bridal Attendant), and Stephany (Bridal Attendant) each and every one of them displayed extensive professional all while connecting with you to make sure you're taken care of at any expense!! Run, don't walk, to sign the papers to have your wedding here!

Spectacular building with lush decor for any event. The staff are professional and friendly. I would host any special event at this venue. It's glamorous yet homey at the same time!
