Went to a friends wedding reception here and the food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and responsive.

Guests BEWARE. We attended a wedding here this past Sunday and the parking attendants STOLE an external drive from our car for the TVs. That's $70 stolen out of my car, not including the important information I had on that disk!! I'm absolutely disturbed and disgusted, way to turn a nice evening into someone's misfortune.

Very nice outside. Looks like a palace. Nothing served before wedding. Not even water.
Long trip if coming from long island to somerset n.j.
Cocktail hour usual type food and very crowded.

Went for a Christmas party, food was pretty bad, overcooked, stopped out to eat at a diner after the party, party itself was nice

Beautiful place for a wedding. Great appetizers, professional servers. The dining hall is amazing. Dinner was delicious. Not too big but not too small.

My experience at the palace for two different weddings was the same end result. The location is one thing but the food is a totally different thing. The two times there I was very very disappointed the cocktail hour they served eggplant rollatini and the sauce was disgusting and orange yes orange. They served cold cuts mortadella salami it was just so bad I even went home with a stomach ache. I would not waste a recommendation on this place because they really need to get things right very disappointed. The entrees were nasty I told them medium rare they gave me well done and it was as cold as ice. I told my wife if we ever have to go there for a wedding we are not attending. Sorry.

Words can't express how happy I am I choose The Palace at Somerset Park as my venue for our wedding reception. From day one, they made the process so easy. It was the only thing I never had to worry about. Our wedding coordinator, Alex/Jillian was so attentive and extremely easy to work - whenever I had a question, they responded within 24 hours if not sooner. The week leading to the wedding, I met with our maitre d, Josh, he made sure that everything was set exactly how we wanted. Then the day of the wedding, Josh and our attendant, LaTonya (who is just AMAZING!) was there to make sure that our day went perfect! They were constantly around but they weren't intrusive. They made sure we ate, took pictures, and always made sure our glass was never empty. Even our guest were blown away by the amazing service by the staff - all night we heard how great they were! And the food was just unbelievable! The day/night was absolutely amazing and unforgettable!

The Palace was AWESOME!! We got married on February 28 and had approximately 280 guests but that was NO PROBLEM for The Palace! The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, and the staff was simply wonderful. I was beyond pleased and so were the guests! It was three weeks ago and guests are still raving about how amazing the wedding was. We worked with David on the evening of our wedding and he was exceptional, we wondered how he would do with such a big wedding but her worked the even with ease! If I could do it all again, I would not think twice about having the reception at The Palace, it was worth every penny spent! If you looking for a beautiful venue that offers great service and great tasting food.. Look no further then The Palace!

I honestly don't know where to start! The Palace is BEST IN CLASS! Starting with sales- Melanie, Planning- Alex, Maitre'd - Richard, Bridal Attendant - LaTonja, Justin - Food & Beverage....literally the best team out there. The Palace sets the bar higher than one could hope, you literally sit there and say how can they pull all this off? and they do it BETTER than any venue I have been to. Every detail is noted, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your day is special and perfect. I wish we could do it all over again. 6 months later people are still talking about the food and service. From day one every email & question was answered thoroughly, every detail noted.....literally everything at the Palace was PERFECT. We wish could do it again (yes, I said that twice, I really mean it), looking for any excuse to have an event there! PS- get the fireworks - A M A Z I N G. PS 2- add the Kona Short Rib to your menu (no other venue has this!!) PS 3- Get the Fresh Mozzarella Station .... I could go on forever! THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR DAY PERFECT!

This place is very unprofessional and will make false accussations about guests. We had a horrible experiece after the party. My husband and I were guests at our friends wedding last weekend. We really enjoyed the party, however the next day we were really surprised to know that this venue was accussing us to have stolen a parking sign whatever that is. They emailed our friend (their client) stating that they had proof my husband stole the sign because their survaillance video showed that a black jeep stopped at 00:23 in the morning to steal the sign. They were 100% sure it was us because we arrived in a black jeep. My friend forwarded the video they were referring to and it was very clear that a Jeep Cherokee with chrome rims showed in the video. We own a Ford Explorer Sport with black rims. My husband and I were very upset at this false accussation because at this point it was a matter of respect. My husband went over this place to clear things out. They have a very incompetent and rude head of security who was reluctant to share the video or discuss the basis of their story. Obviously their claim was not true. We left the party at 12:30ish am right after the party ended. This head of security/staff member failed to do a good enough investigation to look through the video and see the exact time valet parking brought our car back as we took off and never came back to this location. How can someone make such accussations without actually going through their videos. This man is obviously not good at his job or being any kind of security person for that matter. Management should really look into this man s job. We are family people who would not steal a needle from someone much less a parking sign. It was only after our friend (their client) went there to clear things out they magically discovered that it was NOT us because our plates and car did not match the one in the video. They did not only destroyed the wonderful moments we shared with our friends that night, but made us look bad with them. I will never come back to this venue again. Please beware

I cannot say enough good things about The Palace. It was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. The space is just beautiful. We fell in love with it on our first visit. The service we received from the planning stages through the big day was top notch. Our Maitre D Josh and bridal attendant Jordan were amazing! They kept everything running smoothly and on time. We felt so well taken care of the entire day. Our guests raved about the quality and quantity of food. It was truly the best day. Thank you!

OMG!!!! Our wedding was February 10th and it was the most AMAZING day thanks to The Palace! From when we first booked and had Cristina as our Wedding Planner, She was awesome and responded so quick to questions I had even the little things! To the night of the rehearsal when I lost my voice and had a snow storm and our AMAZING Maitre D Rich gave me tea and made sure everything ran so smooth that night and the night of the wedding! The day of was everything we could imagine and more! Rich and Stephanie our Amazing bridal attendant made us feel so relaxed and like family! They were there for everything! The food was AMAZING! People are still talking about how amazing the wedding and the food was! I want to relive that day over and over again every month because it is so amazing! They honestly think of EVERYTHING and do not disappoint! Thank you so much to The Palace!

Had the pleasure of attending a wedding here. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and utterly professional. The food was very nice and portions were perfect. I would recommend this establishment as a nice wedding venue.

One word. PERFECT. My wife and I had our wedding reception on Friday, April 5, and The Palace made our night incredible. With a day of not-so-great weather, traffic, and a limo running overtime, I was a bit out of sorts when we arrived. Our Maitre D', Richard, helped assure me that everything would be just fine, and I was not to worry about a thing all night. He was right. He, and our bridal attendants, Carmela and Stephanie, were not only at our every beck and call, but they also anticipated our needs all night. Drinks always full on our table. A huge, full tray of cocktail hour food brought upstairs for us and our party. All three dinner entrees brought to our table without asking. Also, to top it off, nearly 10 to-go containers of entrees, cocktail hour food, and desserts for us to take home. This is coming from a huge foodie.. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. There was nothing mediocre at all. We received rave reviews all night from our guests and afterwards. The food, ambiance, staff, everything. The Palace will help your wedding be the most memorable day of your lives and I cannot thank them enough for that.

Visited to look at the place as a potential wedding venue. Wasn't shown around by anyone, guy at the desk just said go ahead and look around. Not a way to win my business.

We just celebrated my daughter s wedding at the Palace on Aug. 10, 2013. I could not wait to write a review. The entire event was flawless from beginning to end. Our wedding planner Alex was an absolute delight to work with. We started the day at nine in the morning with Latajna and she was with us until 12:30 at night when the wedding ended. She was AMAZING! Her attention to details made the experience so easy for us. She attended to our every whim and had us where and when we needed to be. Richard our Maitre d was also a pleasure and a great organizer. He was also a tremendous help with our very large wedding party. My guests raved about how much and how good the food was. Everyone who attended this celebration said it was the best wedding ever

Beautiful place for weddings, excellent food and service. Only con was a little hard to see the bride and groom, dark ambience making photos a little harder.

Went to a wedding there in September. The place is beautiful service and food perfect. Have your wedding there. You will not be sorry. What a place.

They provided very good service for our event. Food is very good. Facility is very clean and nicely done.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Palace and it was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, the service was exceptional, and the inside looks stunning so our photos came out phenomenal. Even though it's been some months since the wedding, my family is still saying how good the food and service was at our wedding, saying that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. Every guest was well taken care of.

Our Maiter D' was David who was great! He made sure my wife and I always had whatever we wanted and even helped us navigate through some crowds when we were moving to take some photos. We highly recommend David!

My wife had Stephany as her bridal attendant and she loved her. Stephany was highly attentive and was never far away just in case my wife needed something. She highly recommends Stephany!

We originally went with The Palace because the packages they offer for your wedding are the best we've seen from any venue we were visiting, and we are so happy with that decision. You get so much bang for your buck, its crazy. One of the best things was that their package includes your cake and you can bring a photo and ask them to customize it. That's what we did and they made it look absolutely perfect!

Overall we would highly, highly, highly recommend The Palace to anyone looking to get married. We had such a great experience there!

This shoot could not have gone any smoother thanks to Jose and Natalie organizing everything. Letting the staff and other vendors know about our shoot and having everyone ready when we showed up.

These guys are truly amazing to work with and if they took so much liberty in being so organized I can only imagine how much they put in to make sure every event is spectacular.

We went for our food tasting and everything was absolutely amazing. The short rib and chateaubriand was delicious. The bufalo mozzarella appetizer to die for as well as the shrimp wrapped in shredded phyllo dough. The Palace really knows how to organize a wedding with their beautiful cocktail hour and reception.

We had our dream wedding here in May. It is beautiful inside and out and very picturesque. The staff is phenomenal and the food is amazing. My wedding went smoothly and my visions really came to life. I highly recommend this venue.

February 16 2018 my son got married at the palace in Somerset it was The best experience ever!!!!!!! From the staff and the food it was a five-star experience!!!! I highly recommend this place
