My husband and I wanted to throw an epic wedding, with food being our top priority. Not only does The Palace consistently deliver on food, but their attention to detail and great service is the icing on the wedding cake. BTW, the wedding cake was beautiful and delicious, too--and included in the pricing. If you're the type of couple that doesn't want to deal with paying for linens and wedding cake separately and would rather have a place that takes care of all the annoying stuff--choose The Palace. All of our guests said it was the best wedding food and wedding experience out of all the other weddings they've been to. It's worth it.

Very elegant and pretty venue. Was there for company party for a second time. Food was not as good as last year. Pasta dishes in particular were mushy.

Where do we even begin...The Palace at Somerset Park exceeded our wildest wedding expectations!! Their entire team of staff was incredible to work with and the whole process was smooth and exciting! Their hospitality and professionalism was beyond compare and we had the BEST time at our wedding!!! Our guests are still raving about their experience. Special shout out to Alex, David and Maya for helping make our day spectacular! Definitely recommend. Thank you Palace team!!

Great space, inside and outside. Due to the immense size, more than one event can happen simultaneously but there is so much room that it is not a problem. The building is modern and beautiful. I attend an event here each year and the space is always clean, service is great, and there are plenty of restrooms and ample parking. Landscaping is impressive.

Visited this location for an awards ceremony. The setup was nice and wait staff were very attentive.

Thanks to The Palace at Somerset Park, I had my dream wedding reception. The food was outstanding, the venue was beautiful, and most importantly the team of people (maitre d', bridal attendant, event coordinator) made the experience smooth and surprisingly stress free. My guests are still talking about what a great time they had almost two months later. We felt like royalty at the food tasting, where we had our own table and a one-on-one conversation with the chef! The whole way through, they communicated with me, and happily answered every question, no matter how small. I highly recommend The Palace for a wonderful wedding experience.

Had my wedding at The Palace in October 2015, the place is perfect for weddings and couples who are looking for a grand and "wow" effect. The grounds and ballrooms are beautifully maintained and decorated. The food is superb, people are still talking about how amazing the food was during the cocktail hour, reception dinner, and Viennese hour. We had suckling pig, an entire raw bar, polish station with kielbasa and pierogi, they even did candy and caramel apples per my request during desert because it was Halloween. The presentation and service made my night feel like a royal gala. Our Maitre'D Richard ran the entire night without a hitch, I didnt have a rehearsal dinner and they made everyone feel calm and ready to walk down the aisle. Our bridal attendant, Maya, made sure we had everything and anything we needed, from reattaching a button on my dress to making sure my champagne glass was filled at all times. Best night of my life!!!!

This past weekend I was the photographer for a wedding with Richard (Maitre D) & Maya (Bridal Attendant) and I can't say enough wonderful things about them! As a vendor, you see a very different side of most venues, and it isn't always pretty. While I wasn't a guest at the event, they made me feel like I was. Not only did they treat me with the same respect and courtesy as guests of honor, but they made my job SO much easier by having all the details of the day planned out. It is very obvious to me that the management at the Palace has spent many years perfecting their process. Every single staff member I interacted with was very friendly and knew exactly what needed to get done. Maya was like J Lo in the movie The Wedding Planner, whatever the bride & groom needed, she had within seconds (a cup hot tea to soothe the groom's sore throat, a tissue to blot the bride's tears, a safety pin for a last minute adjustment) she even made sure that Grandma was ready for family photos so we don't run behind schedule. I often have to worry about the Maitre D's at other venues starting events, like the cake cutting or introductions, without me. I always have to be anticipating that at any moment, I could miss an important moment. At the Palace, Richard and Maya went out of their way to make sure I knew exactly what the plan was... where the bride would be entering in the ceremony so I could plan out the best angle for my shot. They even asked me if I needed the lighting tweaked for the best photos possible (that has NEVER happened at another venue!) The staff at The Palace recognizes that we all have one common goal; to make the best possible experience for the client (not for ourselves.) When booking a wedding, you are taking a huge risk that the venue will truly have your best interests at heart, but I have witnessed it first hand that they will go above and beyond to create an exceptional experience! For anyone who appreciates impeccable attention to detail, schedule a tour and see for yourself!

This had to be the best event I've ever attended. After taking family pictures we waited in the cocktail area for the wedding to begin. Ronnie interrupted setting up his station to make sure we had hot tea and coffee to drink. The maitre d' and all the staff were exceptional Everything was organized and went like clockwork. Special food requests were accommodated with a smile and "no problem". If you're looking to be treated royally, this is the place.

If you ever been to a wedding in New Jersey you have been to The Palace. Everyone has been there at least once.

The place is beautiful, the buffet food was awesome. The main course was not bad but not that great compared to their buffet. Id have rather eaten more of the buffet food. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Plenty of parking, valet service. Overall, I would recommend it. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with their experience here.

One of the best weddings I have ever been at! The food was unbelievable!!!

Loved the staff they took care of everything. From helping us put the bride's dress on to making me feel confident that I would not mess up in the ceremony. We were so well taken cared of I would highly recommend them. They didnt just make me feel like they were the staff, they made me feel like they were a part of our family. They made sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. The venue is breathtaking but the staff matches the beauty of the palace.

Attending a conference for IT managers here at the Palace. Loved the lunch selection. It`s also a very visually appealing building. It`s spacious - I'd recommend for a medium sized gathering of people.

We just had our wedding there this past Sunday, 12/29/19. We cannot even begin to express the level of appreciation we have for this amazing place. From day one they were attentive, professional, and amazingly friendly. They provided us a packet of paperwork showing all they offered. Food, packages, cakes, vendors. Kara walked us through each and every single detail before we even signed anything! Their preferred vendor list is fantastic and it worked out so well the day of. They all communicate with each other and work together to make the day fantastic. Their staff the day of was amazing. David was our Maitre D and he was so attentive, patient, and a joy to work with. I have NEVER had such a stress free day other than our wedding day. A day that everyone has anxieties and fears over and this place and all of their vendors made it stress free, beautiful, and memorable. We cannot thank the Palace enough for their amazing service and beautiful venue making our wedding day the best day our lives. We love you and thank you endlessly.

I don't know where to start with this review. I will attempt to break down every aspect of the Palace at Somerset experience.

Event Planner (Michelle Malave) - You could not ask for a better event planner that actually comes free. Michelle was incredibly down to earth, personable, offered great recommendations, and even steered us away from things that we necessarily did not need. There were no limitations to the types of questions and even the time of the day that I would contact her and get a swift response. In fact, I even requested to have every entree as my meal for my wedding. Literally, I had 3 different plates (hell its my wedding and I want to have want everyone is having)....No Problem!

Although more comical than anything, I had 3 plates from my meal, and all were fantastic. Michelle made me feel incredibly comfortable that EVERYTHING was taken care of, and IT WAS! Absolutely no worries and feedback we received made it all the better. To hear your guests (multiple guest) say it s the best wedding they have ever been to is a credit to us of course ;) and the amazing job of Michelle and Team! It also helped that my wife s name was Michelle too BONUS!

Maitre D (David Parada) My man David. So to most of you that don t know what a Maitre D is I ll make it simple, he/she makes sure everything goes perfect the day of. He/she is the executor. Given that I am a project manager, he was a breath of fresh air! Dave was like my right hand man the day of. It was little things, like him whispering things to me knowing that my wife may freak out, lol. He was perfect and enjoyed the day. It was great to have someone own the event and enjoy it at the same time. He was very militant with time and still was flexible when the moment called for; like when my father decided to give an extended speech lol. Dave was great!

The Palace Listen to me clearly ..THE PALACE IS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING PERIOD! Yes, it s a bit pricey, yes there is minimal (if any) wiggle room .BUT .if you are looking for a place that will take your mind off of worrying about ANYTHING concerning the reception .The Palace is that place.

The only issue (my wife) had with the Palace was that her table cards (which were actually picture frames) were laying down on the table as oppose to standing up .literally that was the only complaint! For all of you guys, that s a blessing if that is the ONLY complaint you get the day of..(at least for the reception haha).

We had awesome worry free wedding. The staff is great. They are on top of everything starting from the bridal party arrival early in the morning and staying late night until the party is over. Special thanks to the bridal attendant and Maitre'd who made the dream wedding come true.

Food was absolutely astounding. I went for a wedding a few weeks ago that was pretty limited in size, and they took every necessary precaution to make sure that it was COVID-safe. The wait staff was excellent, and the whole place is straight out of a Disney movie in terms of beauty. I really can't say enough about how much I loved it. The Maitre-D (I think his name is David) was fantastic and funny, and was the perfect balance of light-hearted and serious. I highly recommend this place for your next event, and I was just a guest!! :)

Over the top! We attended a spectacular wedding there, and it's got to be one of the nicest venues like this that I've seen. Beautiful indoors and out. Great flow, excellent architecture. Fantastic wedding.

The Palace is such a gorgeous venue! I always said my wedding was the closest I d ever get to being a princess and they really made me feel this way! Their prices are reasonable especially considering they are pretty much all inclusive, More

I have bad knees so I wasn't happy about being ushered in a side door and then up stairs to the second floor. No elevator? The function I was attending started at 6:30 but the buffet food wasn't ready until about 8:00...Why??? Overall the food was okay but not great... I will say that the staff seemed pretty good. No complaints there...

I was there for a conference. It included the food, coffee, continental breakfast and lunch. Overall, the place is impressive when you pull up and spacious inside. They had several coffee/tea/beverage stations in the main lobby area that was nicely set up to accommodate the amount of people in attendance. Only complaint was that even though there were several bathrooms throughout, we were directed to the one in the main lobby which only had two bathrooms for women and quite a line. I discovered another one which was larger (3 bathrooms) and cleaner off of one of the other ballrooms that we used for our break out sessions. The food at lunch was good and there were plenty of service. I would come back again.

The affair was lovely although the noise from the other venue going on was heard during the ceremony and it was difficult to hear. The waitstaff were ok. Not great. Dropped silverware during cocktail hour and left it, weren't diligent in removing or bringing dishes and coffee.

Gorgeous place with wonder staff. Our daughter has many allergies, and they were able to accommodate everything.

Our wedding was amazing from start to finish. The Palace staff was incredibly organized and helped with every step along the way. The day couldn t have went any smoother, and I have them to thank for the best day of my life.

Staff is very friendly, the place is beautiful and the food is good! I typically go in the warm weather and appreciate the landscaping as I walk the perimeter of the building.

We got married at The Palace on 2.19 and it was the most amazing day of our lives! We had our ceremony in the main foyer and the reception in the East Ballroom. Our family and friends are still raving about how amazing the food was and how gorgeous the ceremony was! We can not say enough good things about the staff. From the second we booked with Jose, we knew we were in good hands. Alex, our wedding planner, was there to answer every single one of my emails and questions and was so extremely helpful. I can not even write in words how amazing Richard our Maitre'd and Stephanie our bridal attendant were. The day before our wedding, when I was having some bridezilla moments, Richard calmed me down and made me feel so confident that our wedding would be perfect and it was just that. Stephanie was amazing and knew everything I needed before I even knew I needed it. When I started feeling thirsty, I turned around and she would be there holding a drink, when my feet started hurting after my first dance, she was there with slippers for me! They were both so great to us and we could not be more happy. The only thing we can complain about is that it is over and we can't get married there again!!

The Palace exceeded all of our expectations! We were blown away with the service, food, and over all night. From the first time we stepped into the Palace to take a tour up until the second we left on our wedding night we were treated like royalty. I knew they had amazing service but I didn't expect to be treated like such royalty! Richard our matrie de took care of myself, my husband, my family, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I'm still amazed at how the Palace made my dreams come true!!!

This place is very expensive, you will find charges after the fact and have to fight them for it. Nice place but kind of a maze.

It was A huge place and the service and food was superb.

I recently had my wedding here in April and let's just say I wish I can do it all over AGAIN! It was truly worth EVERY penny if you are looking for that "Fairytale Wedding!" The venue is absolutely gorgeous when it is all lit up of your color choice. I also had my ceremony at this venue as well where me and my whole bridal party were able to come down a beautiful staircase looking down at all the guest. This presentation for the ceremony looks great in pictures and added so much to the ceremonial experience.

The whole planning process was made simple leading up to the wedding day all thanks to the staff who was very patient and made sure you have a clear understanding of all the steps leading up to the wedding. I did not have to worry about a single thing! Every staff member has an important key role in making your whole day complete. I seriously give their customer skills an A+. Especially the wedding coordinator, Alexandra who answered all of my questions in a sense of urgency and my Maitre D, David who took all the weight off my shoulders the day of the wedding. I could not say one thing that could of been better. If you are looking for class and lasting memories for you and your guest, look no further. You will be very pleased with the whole Palace experience!

This is an amazing and excellent place! The food here is very delicious and everything is really creative and super nice/ beautiful and you will not regret coming here! The decorations are amazing. Crew members are very polite! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL! HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

Love the venue but hate the staff. David, I believe he is the manager, is very very very rude. I wonder how such person is working at beautiful and big venue like this. He has no clue how to talk to guests. I would not recommend this venue just because of him.
