Local icon for Italian food. Luxurious setting with reasonably priced entrees. It is a great venue for kids. The kids menu has several options and the trolley car is always a hit. The bar area is also quite nice for meeting up for drinks and nice views of the river. The food is consistently good and the service is good. I recommend the pesto house dressing on your salad.

Food was typical for chain restaurants. Menu selections were limited. Quality of food was acceptable, average. Not too expensive, good family place. Service average. The kids liked the balloon man there who made whimsical creations with balloons.

Corporate, I hope you are reading; this reflects on you and your employees! I didn't even eat the food, had it boxed and then threw it away after paying because of the experience.

Okay, so this is my first time at this restaurant and my last! Horrible, offensive and disrespectful experience by our server Mitch (which wasn't the name he gave us after asking him for it because he didn't introduce himself or have a name tag). I can't remember the name he gave to be honest. The manager Sumitra was worse as she disrespected us by saying she backs up her servers 100 percent! Even though her waiter LIED and said WE WERE RUDE AND WERE RECORDING HIM, YES EVERYONE RECORDING HIM and Sumitra, the Manager, supported her server and decided to disrespect the customers by even entertaining this idiotic excuse for bad service. Who does that? Especially a manager. I'm a visitor, taking selfies and pictures with my friends!

We were sat with no menus. Waited for our waiter who showed up minutes later and asked him if we could get menus after he asked if he could take our order and acted as if it was our fault we didn't have the menus. He then went to go get them and asked for our drinks, we asked for two raspberry teas and one coke. He came back with TWO cokes..., then we let him know about the mix up and he said "I'll get that" and went to get the right drink as if we made the mistake.

Finally, took our order and I asked specifically for chicken alfredo with angel hair, because it wasn't in the menu and he said "you got it". I get fettuccine alfredo instead. I let him know and he said "okay sure" and then I asked "you do remember hearing me say angel hair?" and he said "no I honestly didn't but okay I can get it changed"... his personality was so passive aggressive and offensive.

We talked to Sumitra about the horrid experience and she acted like she didn't care. When she came back 5 minutes later after charging the card, I told her, "as a manager who gets a complaint about a bad experience you should've at least tried to turn it around around and say I will take care of this. I'm sorry I took the appetizer off of your bill", but she said "no, not tonight because my waiter said YOU were rude and you're recording him". I said "are you serious? I'm offended and disrespected you would even mention this to us, why would we do any of that, first we don't have menus, then he doesn't remember our order and now you are saying we were wrong?" She said "yeah I back up my servers 100 percent". I then asked for her name and a higher authority and she said "no, I was the only one" and I said "no, I know there is someone above you and I wanted her name and the server's name" which she refused to give me until I pressed and she finally gave in. This is not over, I will call corporate and they will know about the experience their employees give to customers.

This is not what I expected as a Portland visitor. Next time you go (if I were you, I wouldn't go, but if you do) remember the name is Sumitra, who is the manager and Mitchell or Mitch, the server. Stay away from them. They should not be in the customer service business. I am so upset and offended.

This place is gross. Everyone wants to go there because of the atmosphere and the river view, but the food is crappy. If you have to go, stick to the mizythra pasta. At least you won't be sick

Good portions, but as always slow and I don't care service. Quality of food is you get what you pay for. But I am fussy, and do not care for Olive Garden either. Prefer fine Italian dining at a better actuality and of course a more expensive price. But if your on a family budget and want to eat out I would recommend. Beware alcohol prices....

The Old Spaghetti Factory on the SW waterfront is a great little space. It can be a little tricky to get to, especially if there is construction. So, do your research and take your time with exits and turns. It is worth the effort to get to it. It is a chain restaurant, but it is a fun and eclectic little chain. They have great food offerings, and their selection of wines is very good. They serve delicious mixed drinks. The service is top notch, and the restaurant is always very clean. I almost always get the brown buttered mizithra any more. But, I've had pretty much everything on the menu (I work close by). I like to meet up with family here. It is a great place for people of all ages. I've never gone to Old Spaghetti Factory and walked away unhappy. Everything is so wonderful, and bread and ice cream are included. It is really easy to over eat! Thankfully it's location along the waterfront also make it a good place for a walk...

I used to like The Old Spaghetti Factory, but have to say I wasn't impressed this time around. We went for a murder mystery dinner. Service was very slow and disorganized. The meals weren't good, either. I had spaghetti with mushroom and tomato sauce, and it looked like the worst example of an elementary school lunch: about 4 mushrooms with tomato sauce over soggy pasta.

Parking was a challenge, as it always is in Portland. That's not necessarily the restaurant's fault, but they could consider moving to a another location.

All in all, I won't go back to this location. They have a better restaurant in the Clackamas area.

The food here is ALWAYS 10X better here compared to the Tanasborne location. It tastes freshly made and delicious here every time we've gone to this location. The same dishes made at the Tanasborne location don't taste the same, they appear and taste old and microwaved. Whoever was the chef there today (12/5/19 1pm -3pm) at the Portland location for our Event : Thank you for our yummy lunch! Also all our servers were outstanding, very friendly, and gracious. What an amazing staff! You are all very much appreciated!

Not my kind of restaurant, but out of town family members wanted to go for nostalgic memories, and to take their 5yo daughter, so it worked well. Expect: crowded, noisy, and enormous servings of everything.

Loved the food and service. Loved the murder mystery even more. If you haven't done it yet I definitely recommend doing it at least once. It was fun to dress up. Even though I got it wrong and didn't win, one of the cast members still was very nice and gave me an award because it was my birthday and my answer was full of some "creative detectiveizing". Can't wait till I go again!

Glorious, historic feel!! The spectacular decor begins as you enter the first set of doors, and continues throughout every inch of every space, throughout the entire building. The lighting and furniture is completely and totally antique, gorgeously restored.
Every time I go there I am spoiled rotten by the waiters and waitresses. They are absolutely marvelous. And the food!! It is unsurpassed in quality and quantity. The array of choices is unbelievable, with so many types and styles of sauces, noodles, etc. Overall, I know of no other restaurant at which I would rather eat.

A very eclectic place with fun, old-fashioned decor. The place had a ritzy, yet childlike charm that was welcoming. Service was hard to beat and all of the food was really tasty. We were seated with a fantastic view of the Willamette River. I think the only con was that is was a little loud for intimate dining. Totally worth stopping by to see for yourself!

The Denny's of pasta. Mediocre service and less than average pasta. They don't even have fresh ground pepper or grated parmesan cheese so they're not very serious about having anything authentically Italian.
Only reason to return would be to take children since the blandness and quality are not fine dining.

Besides the ease of reserving a table online, although a mix up on where we wanted to sit the staff accommodated us so quickly and with such kindness. Being the tines and with 2 littles we decided outside eating would be best and that did not dissapoint at all. The food was top notch and service was absolutely incredible. For the first time since covid we went out and were so glad we chose this restaurant!! We will be back! So love this place and did I mention the FOOD

Did not get the best service. Our waitress said sorry each and every time she came to the table. A lot of sitting around waiting for her to return to get orders, more drinks then took our card and disappeared again. I'm usually leaving happy and stuffed, tonight was far different.

It sure is not what it used to be. My mom got the senior meal, and she had almost twice the spaghetti I did. I had the sampler plate , it needed more sauce..they put one little dab of the sauces. Not impressed!

The Old Spaghetti warehouse headquarters is on the Wilmette riverside and views are great.
Wonderful food and great service, antiques furniture, a touch of Italy in the building style.
The crab stuffed ravioli is great. Minestrone soup is great. And spicy vesuvius spaghetti sauce is delicious.
