Very disappointing. Took us 45 min to be seated when we had a reservation. Reservations are designed to prevent this situation. Once seated, it took another 20 min to get service and our drinks/water. An hour later, when the food arrived, it was cold. Even our 3 year old thought it was bad. Talked to the manager, who offered us more food but at that point we had been there for over an hour and a half and did not want to wait any longer for food. Went went to another place and will never return here. (The place was NOT very busy and there were several empty tables. There was/is no excuse for this)

Fun restaurant, very nice staff, my crab ravioli came cold but they remade it fast and when I got the bill I discovered they comped it without being asked. That's good service. And the redo was hot and good.

Food is good but our large group waited a long time for our food. Had a birthday party there on a weeknight. Made reservations . Whole process took about 2 hours. got our food 1.5 hours after sitting down. Gave us 25% off all 18 meals. Just disapointing.

The price for the kids menu is great and includes a three course meal. There is your pick of an entree, applesauce or salad, and for dessert, spumoni or vanilla ice cream. I ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli and found that it was a bit too cheesy for my taste. In my opinion, the portion of applesauce was a little too small. When the server came, I ordered vanilla ice cream for dessert. Upon being questioned what Spumoni was, she said that Spumoni is chocolate ice cream with cherry and pistachio. Service was great and there were beautiful stained glass lights and a pretty chandelier.

The host told us the upstair is open area, we dont need to wait to be seated. But she didn't told us only there is candle on the table is the open table. We have been sat on the table without candle for 45 min and none of the stuff came to tell us about that.

We had a reservation and arrived 7 minutes late, the host told us that we would likely have to wait 15-20 min. There was nobody else waiting, and there were tables ready. Fortunately, another host came by and seated us right away. The food and service is good and fairly priced, as usual. The reservation thing sets a poor impression - the way you're treated when you first come in sets the mood for the rest of the time you're there.

The food's alright but overpriced for what it is and be prepared to be hungry not too long after you are getting full off of pasta after all I give it two stars because the place is interesting and clean but that's all it is a novelty

Although this isn't the original location, Portland is the home of the Old Spaghetti Factory. You'll leave full and every meal comes with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Delicious warm bread. OSF makes Olive Garden look like a McDonald's in comparison.

I loved it! There's something more glamorous about this location than any other one. It's always busy as a result. Got my classic Fettuccini Alfredo and this time, I did bring home leftovers. YUMMY!

Best comfort food around. The "family" ambiance is pretty cool too. The wait to be seated was pretty long (45 min.) As it is during dinner rush, it was well worth it, wait staff was prompt, friendly and very courteous. Coming here has become a family tradition.

Our order was taken quickly after being seated. Food was delivered speedily and to our tastes. Service wasnt the best. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, but the waitress was very pleasant.

Great food and service, our reservation process was a bit difficult however. We made the reservation online, got a text confirmation and were at the restaurant 15 mins early. We were told to take a seat and they would let us know when they are ready. 15 minutes past our date time, and nothing. I go to ask the host for an ETA, and was told that they have been ready and were waiting on us? No big deal, just worth a note!

The staff was amazing, there was no wait on a Saturday for dinner and they were really busy. Beautiful building, great view of the river. It was my first time at this Spaghetti Factory, though I have been to many others around the country. I tried a new dish and it came very cold and under cooked, twice! The third time it came perfect, delivered by the manager who apologized profusely, and paid for my dinner to make up for it. I highly recommend, their prices are reasonable, the sooner includes fresh baked bread, drinks and ice cream for dessert. Even with the mistake I was well taken care of and not disappointed.

I've been eating at the Old Spaghetti Factory since I was in the five to six year old range not much has changed in 55 years. The restaurant keeps the same full meal deal and the items haven't changed that much. To me that's comfort food and I'll always remember it.

It's the Spaghetti Factory. What else more is there to say? Classic food, spacious layout, friendly staff, and huge parking lot. All these things will keep us coming back time and time again.

First time dining here! Wow, this place is beautiful. I got the side of broccoli (that butter!) and chicken parm breast... my goodness, this was all around amazing. (My friend claims it's way better than the VanWa location)

My partner is a die hard OSF fan, so the occasional visit is a must. We usually sit by the bar on the second floor for some nice and chill dinner. I usually get the managers special with meat sauce and cheese along with two added meatballs. I recommend sending down a few of their in house cocktails for a nice buzz as you enjoy the waterfront view.

It's no "Top Chef" joint, but the thing is, the "Spag" is a Portland institution for a reason:

You get a good meal for a great price.

Always a good place for an informal family meal, and actually,if you're just wanting a nice river view, few other spots sport as much Willamette frontage.

Yummm

This is the best Old Spaghetti Factory on the West Coast. I've dined in several OSFs in California, Oregon, and Washington, but this one is by far the top of them all.

The building's architecture is mid century modern with beautiful glossy blue Mediterranean tiles, the foyer is climate controlled with a heater and has well maintained wood paneling, glass doors, and brass hardware. They have a beautiful Churchill chandelier above the lobby. They have well apholstered furniture to accommodate waiting patrons, and plenty of framed pictures dispursed throughout the restaurant describing snapshots of the company's history.

They have a beautiful stained glass wall behind the receptionist's counter that separates the lobby from the dining room. They have an antique train car on the Northside of the dining room where patrons can request to be seated, thus providing an elevated view of the dining floor. Up the staircase, you will find a balcony that leads to the bar, overflow seating with dining tables, small TVs, and a full Men's and Women's Restrooms.

They have several large group tables, booths, and smaller dining tables along the South waterfront with gorgeous views of the Willamette River. Occasionally, you'll see a cruise ship, pleasure craft, and kayakers meandering across the scene. There is a reserved section adjacent to the second floor bar which provides an exquisite elevated view of the South waterfront and the residential condominiums along the river. Unfortunately, this section is only open during overwhelming holiday weekends, and is only available by reservation only.

The Italian food is excellent irregardless which item you choose, and is standardized across their various branches. I've ordered practically every item on their menu, and I've never been disappointed due to the quality of their food. On the rare occasion I've experienced unsatisfactory service, both the wait staff work to correct the problem, and usually inform the supervisor where the management staff comes to ensure the problem was resolved to my satisfaction. I can't recommend this OSF enough, and suggest this as an excellent venue for banquets, graduations, family reunions, and weddings!
