Great venue but pricier than others - - but you get a great beergarden forcthe price

I was in a large booked party (about 20) and we ordered in 2 groups. Staff were a little grumpy when ordering, but food came fairly quickly, and it was decent and tasty. Other staff were good and friendly

Really good pub food and plenty of pool tables upstairs in individual rooms so you can hang out in (relative) privacy with your mates

Good selection of beer on tap and great beer garden, foods pretty decent as well.

Nice food and nice outdoor area to sit. It's under a large tree so mostly in the shade.

SSSSOOOO many fairy lights in the famous Oak Tree. Great atmosphere and food.

This place is huge. There are plenty of screens inside to catch the game, and the beer garden is large enough for any sized group. We found the venue has a great vibe on a Friday night and is packed with all sorts of crowds. Plenty of beers on tap and there is also a bottle shop attached if you need to grab something for home.

The beer garden is sensational. The food is pretty good. Although they are not doing their pizza's at the moment which is a shame. It's really the only pub in the area, an icon!

There are quite a few bars in the Oaks. A great place to have a few rounds with mates and a great atmosphere. Located in a good location close to public transport. Also a variety of choices when it comes to food. There is pizza, pub foods and a la carte menus available.

The venue is beautiful but what makes this place great is the staff, my mum takes my daughter to the restaurant there once a week and the staff now all know my daughter's name, what she orders and even bring her treats like a scoop of ice cream at no charge. They are the reason the Oaks is such a great place, I've been to plenty of places as beautiful as the Oaks but none of them had such friendly staff.

My steak was delicious however the lamb shank (singular) was hefty priced for just one really small shank. Hubby said it was delicious but it was gone in a few seconds leaving him stealing food off both mine and my mum's plates!! If you want good value here get the fish & chips... really decent size!

A Neutral Bay institution. Late drinks, wine, booze, bloody good food, cozy, clubby and there s a big tree. Like, really big.

Great if you are 40+. You basically get punted if you have a few beers. Joke of a place. Wony be back again.

The filet mignon is delicious. Choose and enjoy with mushroom sauce. If you're traveling to Sydney and want to eat delicious steak that doesn't have Koreans, you should definitely come here. However, if you take a Google map, the building is large and you can get lost.

Rest your acorns under the stars in this gastronomic garden. Or are they fairy lights in the oak trees? Hard to tell after a pint of the deliciously dark Moo Brew.

Great atmosphere under the lit up oak. Drinks are expensive and the food, which used to be good, was very disappointing. I had Mussels au Congo which were dreadfully over cooked & someone at the table had pizza - again really poor quality. Must have had a change of head chef.

Standard pub. Great courtyard, and decent selection of beers on tap.

Great place to go to in summer and sit under the huge tree and have a beer and eat a delicious wood fired pizza!

Great spot but very disappointed with the original burger which I chose as it waspretty dry for cooked to medium rare. Initially I was charged a dollar extra when paying even though it was advertised on the menu as a dollar less. After speaking to the cashier I was told it was due to the weekend prices. However I finally spoke to a manager instead and ascertained it was a pricing error on their part. I wonder how many customers who would have realised this error when paying.

Hands down one of the best meals I've had on Sydney in a very long time! I can't wait to go back!!

Great atmosphere, especially the outside garden. The tomahawks was cooked just right. Bone marrow a great accompaniment. Left so full.

recently moved to Neutral Bay, love this place and the garden!

A cozy courtyard, in the center of it is a tree that is completely shrouded in lanterns. You can fry BBQ yourself. Many married couples, friendly companies, fun. Warmers and excellent wine will keep you warm even on a cold winter evening.

There's so much to love about the oaks - the extensive and delicious varied menu, reasonably priced drinks and the magical beer garden (with yes, you guessed it a massive oak tree in the centre.) It's a great place to catch up, grab a drink and have a tasty bite. Definitely one of our local favourites.

Good venue, visit spoiled by very fatty lukewarm pork belly burger. Maybe it was just my menu choice, worth another visit.

There's nothing i can add about the ambiance. Pictures talk for themselves already. Their cocktail menu is a bit weak, but very presentable. Foods are very delicious, but a bit overpriced. Bartenders (especially girls) are not very friendly. Other than that one of the best bars to see in Sydney.

Big old Sydney pub with a big old oak in the beer garden. The smell of people cooking their own steaks is pretty nice too. Why must all Sydney pubs have a TAB in them though? For that, it loses a star.
