Worst service for price!! Employees at the front desk are particularly unfriendly! The place was none too clean!! The bed and pillow were also uncomfortable. Room service is not good either. It is a hotel with nothing to be satisfied with anything.

Great cocktails and food at both bar and restaurant.
I wish the library was open to all clients, it s only reserved to hotel guests but for me living in NY I will never get a room in an hotel just to drink in the library.

But this place is just plain superb. The room, the service, and ESPECIALLY the food are all top notch (although, IMO, too often over-salted). And the seafood tower was perhaps the highest quality dish of its kind I've ever encountered.

The Nomad has 2 bars in it, both of which are old world classic. Great ambiance. Very interesting selection of beers, and cocktails are all handcrafted. The small plate appetizers are excellent.

Wonderful service, fantastic drinks, and hefty prices. But if you want things perfect in NYC it costs. You definitely feel like you know where the money went though. The choice of different bar spaces alone justifies the cost. And their cocktail menu is EXHAUSTIVE. I love this place.

The food was killer (I tried the chicken with fois gras). The presentation was gorgeous. I loved the atmosphere. The wine pairings suggested by the somalier were fantastic. I have no complaints, and I will definitely come back.

Love the Hotel .. lots of area to choose from. However had a miserable time due to matrode seating me in front of the door. Very drafty had to wear my coat. Spoke to her several time and express my concern about my very bad sinus problem but to no avail. I would think twice about coming back. But if I do I will stay at the Bar where the service is better.

The Nomad Hotel is an old-style hotel but in a modern fashion. Really cool room with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. It feels a bit like beeing thrown back to the 1920s and I really like that!

A stunning hotel and bar - the cocktails are awesome, and the setting/ambiance is really inviting. It's not cheap, but where is in NYC in a hotel bar?! The food is really good here too - fantastic chips/fries, which you can have at the bar, or dine at a table. Highly recommend visiting here - they've got some cool touches with an old style library room, with the iron railings and spiral staircase etc.

Ate lunch at the restaurant and it was phenomenal. Service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the chicken for two which lived up to its billing as one of, if not the, best roast chickens in the city. The setting is also very neat and has a cool vibe with the glass roof providing lots of natural light during the day. Would go again very shortly.

The Nomad Restaurant provides a great atmosphere for excellent cocktails and conversation over their delicious burger. Expect standard Manhattan prices at the commensurate level of service. Well deserved for a night out with friends or a date over good food and drinks.

The NoMad Bar is beyond the restaurant, you keep walking straight until you get to the back and if you continue on, taking a turn to the left, then down a few steps, you'll find a bar devoted to Scotch. Packed to the gills with cocktail enthusiasts as well as Scotch fans, you will find great service, pouring to the trendy crowd. There is something for everyone, if you are not perturbed by the large crowds and tight spaces.

Here for their first big brunch today. Service was a little wonky and slow but it s their first day and Mother s Day. That s to be expected. Cocktails are very tasty, the prefix brunch wa delicious. The ambiance is stunning. Everything you want in a historic location.

The bar is a must. It's a dimly lit library with comfortable seating. Fills up quickly, so plan accordingly.

Sociology project, my blonde haired, green-eyed female friend asked bellhop to check bag for couple hrs, he said yes. Next day I tried, I'm male, dark-skinned and ethnically ambiguous, bell hop staunchly said we don't do that for non-guests. Interesting

I ve stayed at this hotel many times for business and it never disappoints. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food in restaurant is delicious and the staff are friendly, attentive and helpful.

Had lunch with a party of ten. Service was a bit deliberate, if slow. Very healthy leaning menu overall. The roasted chicken for two was solid, but not quite as billed for me. Overall I would say good experience, wouldn't rush back though, and would certainly prefer to go on an expense account.

Jhonel is a talented sommelier so be sure to consult with him before ordering! The sweet potato flatbread was tasty.

The not so great: (1) you can't be seated until your full party arrives, (2) the "library room" is reserved for hotel guests only, and (3) the crudite wasn't very special and there's not too many tasty vegetarian small plate options.

This place is annoying and pretentious. Maybe it is SO awesome that they have to be obnoxious about it. Anyways, I didn't see what the big deal was. It's a nice looking hotel bar, but u can get that without the attitude at Ace Hotel nearby, or even 230 Fifth bouncers weren't as rude as the girls upfront of this place. Once inside it did look nice, like a library. But wasn't so crowded that they needed to be rude. Drinks were fine.

If you like chicken and you like foie gras, order the roasted chicken for 2 lined with melted foie gras and brioche bread crumbs, topped with scented black truffles. It is an indulgent meal for sure but absolutely unforgettable and has been written about by many food critics. All of the food at NoMad is as much in the presentation as the taste. I never thought radishes as an appetizer could look so appealing but they were beautifully presented, perfectly lined up on a slab of wood. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We had dinner at the Nomad Bar on Feb 21st. The service, drinks, and food were absolutely spectacular. I have never had a dining experience like the one I had at the Nomad Bar. The staff was very passionate about giving us a great dining experience. We will definitely be back for out next trip to NY.
