I cannot give this place high enough praise. By far the best meal we have had in NYC. Super classy, elegant, and most of all DELICIOUS. Service was impeccable and everything was so good we couldn't decide what we liked best. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to town for any amount of time.

Beautiful interior. Unfortunately all I wanted to do was read in the library but on a Friday afternoon I had to wait for half an hour. By the time I received a text I was well placed in the quiet lobby reading in a dim light instead. Would still like to go back and eat in the restaurant one day.

Cool rooms with a fun vibe. Comfortable bed. Amazing restaurant. Bar that is only for guests called the library is a nice touch. Someone mentioned they saw two beetles (which on further discussion were in fact cockroaches), although I didn't, so it isn't tarnishing my review.

Incredible yet very reasonably priced dishes. I have never had a duck as tender as that prepared by chef Humm. The meat felt as though it nearly melted as soon as it touched my tongue. The combination of tastes and variety of flavors was extremely creative and truly amazing. You can tell without a doubt that this kitchen is run by a 3-Michelin Star chef.

The Nomad Restaurant is Hands down one of NYC Best. The kitchen is putting out nothing short of award winning food.
Combine that with some awesome service from the wait staff and the Sommelier. Who was incredibly knowledgeable and pushed our meal over the top with her recommendations.
It's a wonderful room to dine.
There's so much to say. treat yourself to some truffles which they serve at coast.
Treat yourself to what a chicken should taste like. The spaetzle dish. The deviled eggs. The chicken wing. The brocolli salad was amazing . The pecan pie . The bread plate . The fresh ricotta...
The wines. The champagne being poured from a magnum. The Beaujolais...
Treat yourself. Treat someone else .
Just add it to your bucket list....
Cant say enough about the staff and the service they provide.. Hats off to the whole team... thank you

Went to have lunch and later drinks at the restaurant/bar. Beautiful and classy ambiance. Delicious food and drinks though pricey. There are two bars towards the back with both seating and standing space.

I used to rate The Bryant Park as my favourite hotel in NY, that is until I discovered The Nomad. It is a beautifully maintained property just beside the 28th St NR subway and minutes from Herald Square.

I really enjoyed the feeling of getting away from it all with the low lit ambience that is provided. Trendy but a great change of pace and great for a date but I was out with the girls and enjoyed our service and food was really good. I had the halibut and my friends loved the scallops and tuna tartare. Very fresh and light fare on the expensive side. Splurge because you deserve it. Bread and butter was to die for. Service was excellent and I will return because restaurant and food beckons me.
You won't regret spending money here. Great experience!

Fabulous location on Broadway. Beautifully appointed rooms with everything you could ever want while away from home. Love the bar and the hosts. Nice shops wrapped around as you enter the inviting lobby, accompanied by their very attentive Greeters. A nice change of pace when you compare to our usual stuffy and dated older girls. Great showers and towels.

A bunch of scumbags. Went to the magician show, and was scammed almost $50 worth of drinks. We ordered our second round at least 3 times - it never came, and the waitstaff when confronted afterward lied to our faces and pretended we never ordered anything (despite charging us $50 worth of drinks that never arrived). This was after paying a premium for premier seats. The situation has handled poorly and unprofessionally, and we walked away feeling scammed. To be treated like this after paying a premium, I ll never return to the Nomad for any event whatsoever.

I was in the city for a 3 day work review and training. This was one of the recommended lodgings. I was blown away by the service, and value. The location is unmatched and it is a place you can genuinely rest up and recoup.

What set them apart though was what happened the next the night after my reservation ended. My flight ended up getting cancelled but my bag sent on ahead. As Laguardia was crammed with angry passengers, I returned to the city for 27 hours of rest. I returned with literally the clothes on my back and a carry on. The set me up in a room with extra towels, and dried my clothes.

This was service above and beyond. There was more, but this establishment provided a true safe harbor.

When I return to NYC for leisure or buisness The NoMad is my new home away from home.

Swanky!

I can't say enough about this place. I've had the chicken a bunch of times, eaten in each different dining room, and still haven't gotten sick of this place. The chicken is the best I've ever had in my entire life, hands down, anywhere. Reservations can still be hard to get, but I highly recommend going here. There are three different dining rooms, the red room ( I forget what they call it), it's cozy, and relaxing. The Atrium, it's open, and perfect for summer dining (it's enclosed but has a big glass roof), and then the side room with a large fireplace, it's a way more intimate setting, only a few tables, but it's amazing!! You can be sure to request which room you want when booking a reservation. The appetizers are amazing, a bit small, but that's okay because the chicken will fill you right up. The drinks are great and the best part besides the food is the bar and the library (another area to have drinks). Amazing place and you must must go!

Visiting from Vancouver and heard great things. Wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived as it was fairly quiet for their lunch period, but dang... The food was great. We took Jorge's (our server) recommendation as had their roast chicken for two and it was exceptional. They stuff truffle and foie gras a der the skin so that every bite is a truly decadent experience. The white asparagus accompaniment was prepared perfectly. For dessert they have a delightful cart. We had the chocolate cake and an amazing violet macaron with lemon and raspberry. Great to note that the elephant bar (one of new York's finest bars) is at the back of the restaurant if you want a great cocktail afterwards. Thank you, nomad!

Just visiting the bar for drinks with friends. Nice atmosphere and great wait straff. The prices were on the high side even for New York. Craft beer was roughly 50 to 100% more than the same exact beer at other bars.

Worth a 25 minute subway ride.

So nice to go to a restaurant in NYC that doesn't sound like a barrage of conversations being thrown at you. Therefore as you might have guessed, the NoMad is excellent for business lunches. As far as the food is concerned you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but some standouts for me included the Tagliatelle and the Suckling Pig. Service is impeccable.

Sage flat bread is worth going back. Duck was great but the suckling pig was too dry but tastes delicious. Sweetbread is the best I ever tasted. Pass on the bone marrow. Wish I had the famous roast chicken. Fruit de mer seafood platter is impressive. Milk and honey and sweet potato desserts are stand outs. Goes well with 07 sangiovese or the petty coat cocktail.

Really cool spot to grab a drink, hold a meeting or get some work done. They have a dimly lit, dark wood paneled library in the back past the restaurant that is perfect for coffee or holding meetings. There are no outlets or large tables, so I would not recommend this for co-working.

More than a handful of people have raved about this roast chicken for two, so I had to give it a shot ... and it did not disappoint. Juicy meat, roasted perfectly, and a nice presentation (the waiter actually brings it out to show you the full bird before they carve it for you = brownie points), I was quite impressed. The room was buzzing and refined without pretention, and has a full ceiling skylight so you can see the entire tower facade and sky above. Service was efficient and friendly, but nothing spectacular (noticed a slight discrepancy in treatment between myself and my female guest)

Great cocktails but non-guests relegated to the boring seating. I've come here a few times because I love the Hair Trigger (although the Red Light, Start Me Up and basil & fennel soda are also tasty). It can be a bit crowded, and yes, it's not the greatest value deal, but it's a nice spot. They've expanded the bar beyond a tightly-packed standing area and calm library lounge to a bunch of booths and seats. It's perfectly fine, nice decor, ambiance etc. but the Library is much cooler, and people who aren't staying at the hotel are now only allowed in the Library at off hours. I'll still definitely go back, but lopping off a star for more generic surroundings.

Wonderful dining experience. Entire service staff was very friendly and patient. Eloquently describing menu selections, wine pairings, recommendations, and suggestions - very responsive and expected of a high quality establishment. The food was amazing. Practically stuffed myself on bread, shared the crab cake, and enjoyed the venison (though when I return I may need to try the much talked about, and very appetizing chicken for two). The dining rooms each have their own unique, and delightful ambiance, and the food is tasty yet approachable - the kind you want to eat everyday. Finished with the lemon tart, even though I was totally satiated I needed one last fork-full. Overall, exceptional food and service, a bit pricey (but easier to book and more affordable than EMP), but well worth it.

Top cocktails in new york ... best bartender, Italian of course .. david ... in this place you can breathe the real New York air ... meeting point ... after 5pm you go from office to drink .. surely local top also loved by high floors nonostante ... and despite the notoriety is not so expensive ... in short we are in Manhattan that to say a drink certainly deserves it

Don't think I would like to stay here, but I saw a show. Place was great except for the stairs they make you use when there is a perfectly good elevator option available which would offer a much quieter option for hotel guests. Upon leaving the show we all exited past the rooms with the "do not disturbs" signs...and guess what, we disturbed them. Imagine a bunch of drunk laughing people walking by your room at midnight. Great show, saw "The Magician"

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful rooms and decor. Quiet doors and hallways. Helpful and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. Amazing menu options. Gave us a secluded area to enjoy our breakfast with a group of 9. Convenient subway and lots of taxis out front.
