We bought tickets for the MY Aquarium ahead of time. Once we got there we were made to wait more than 1 hour in the line of people that were purchasing tickets on the spot because, so I was told, they didn't have a person to check pre-purchased tickets or annual memberships. RIDICULOUS!

The aquarium is very crowded when I visited and two parks (spineless and playquarium) were under construction. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it s extremely hard to find a parking place. Prob spent 20-30 mins driving around the area to find a parking spot, so plan for that. The admission fee is $30 per person; it s quite pricy for a small aquarium like this. There are good places in the aquarium like Ocean Wonders and Conservation Hall, but prob not planning to go back again.

The New York Aquarium is one of the biggest aquariums in Brooklyn that houses a large variety of sea life, including the Californian seal, Bruser. It was a wonderful sunny day at the Aquarium and it was comparable to waiting in line at Disney Land. The remarkable part was how well kept and conserved each of the parts of the park were.

I highly reccomend taking a visit in the summer and leaning about the different types of aquatic life there are in the aquarium.

Too expensive for such a small place. Audition facilities and earplugs for people with disabilities should be available and more obvious throughout the whole tour and not in some discrete corners of the building. With so much noise and activity, I can easily see someone having a meltdown.

Its ok

All I can say is boring boring boring. And to top it off can I just say I hate enslavement if anything ?

Seriously folks it s not a great thing to see something that should be in 3000 plus miles of ocean water in a 78000 gallon tank but hey the public lives for seeing misery and turning it into a family moment.

Plenty of parking, although I caught the train which is close by. Admission was high but since I didn t pay I didn t care. Small place. Lots of tourists. It was okay.

Would I ever return? A resounding no

As it is in this moment it's not very nice. They are renewing it, but still I think most of the parts will stay the same. The poor animals outside are in tiny tiny spaces. The walrus is a gigantic animal in a small pool. The price is too high for what they show. I do not recommend it.

It's a nice place to go to after or before going to Coney Island beach. They have special shows at certain hours and they have special deals to look out for during the summer. The staff could use a morale booster.

What a truly magical place, my son and I had the time of our lives. We saw a fantastic sea lion show, walked beneath a tank packed with sharks and other fish, and sat on a ledge by an enormous tank while sting rays swam right up to us. We also got to see adorable penguins and Otters swimming on their backs tumbling and taking a bath. It was a little pricey to go but worth it at least once!

OMG LOVE THE NEW SHARK EXHIBIT! Deserves all caps as this little aquarium has come a long way. I ve visited as a child and as an adult post hurricane sandy. It was sad to see the devastation resulted in an aquarium the size of my living room. But now.... NY is in fir a treat! Definitely a great trip for the whole family with hands on exhibits for all ages. Very informational and educational. You could easily now spend 3 hours enjoying their offerings.

Well the place is not bad. The shark area is really good. It was mkre than i expected. The ani.als are inside i belive to protect them from another disaster which is great. The sea lions show is worth it. Its open and really nice. If you go there you will spend the most 3 hours depending on your time. Plus there is a section that is under construction which looks promising for children to have a place to play. I cant wait to see it when it opens.
