Very good, now the underwater world that has been renovated for many years is more worth visiting. The catch is that there are few plants. The shade of the trees is little, and the sun is really hard.

Nice

The new shark exhibit is the best thing they have. Also make sure to take time to watch the sea lion show because it is beautiful. Otherwise I find that the aquarium is to be rather small and not so interesting . We also went when the touch tank was closed along with one other exhibits.

One of the worst experiences I had. Drove all the way from out east, to get charged twice online. The reps on the ticket booth sumi, chase were rude. The supervisor BIanca A was absolutely horrible. No apologies for the inconvenience just straight up attitude. Won t ever come back nor recommend this place. Also, the website doesn t work and charges and it seems like the girls at the booth knew, so why is the site still on??? DO NOT BUY YOUR TICKETS ONLINE!!!

Always have a good time here. Great sea lion show and the shark exhibit is really nice. My son loved it. The food there is ok. Would recommend bringing your own. One thing I do suggest for them to do is have a place where you can go under for shade from the sun. And get shading for the benches when you have the sealoin show. Other then that it's a great place to take your kids.

What a waste of money. Paid $46 plus $48 on food outside, since they dont have actual food. This place has been under construction for more than 2+ YEARS, i dont know where the money is going but these animals are in bad conditions. You can tell the upkeep of the tanks is not a priority. It is beyond capacity so it is over crowded. The tour itself can be done in 30mins. There isnt much to see. I truly feel sorry for the fishes and animals. This place is more about business than conservation of wildlife.

Visit to the Aquarium was enriching as we learnt quite a bit about the varieties of fishes and sharks around the globe. Though what we enjoyed the most was the Sea lion show, it was just amazing.

Tickets were a bit costly, I think it was around 40 dollars which included the visit to the shark museum.

A friend of mine who was pregnant had to use their restroom very badly so we went in and asked. I was holding her one and a half year old daughter as well. They said no repeatedly. They said we needed a ticket. I said there's a line outside....even if we wanted to buy a ticket she would need to use the restroom. She pregnant and needs help. They said no repeatedly until we had to run somewhere else. Finally we found a place and waited in line and bought a ticket. I was so mad. The one and a half year old fell asleep in the stroller and we went to go into the shark exhibit (why we came) and they said we couldn't go in with a stroller. We would have to wake the kid up. Also this is after we waited in line. This place should love families but they don't. They hate kids and mother's which is sad.

It was awesome!!! Long line outside but can be accepted on a Sunday afternoon. The new Shark exhibit is really cool and the sea lion show was wonderful and educational. Kids (and I lol) had a great time.

The shark exhibition was breath taking they did an amazing job. But should improve the rooftop service. Went all the way up yo find out the restaurant was closed. Cant wait to see what they next, the section that's under construction.

Happy to know that somewhere I visited in high school, I can now share with my daughter. It s not much, but it s still a NYC staple. The updated boardwalk and activities next door is a added bonus. Couldn t have come this far without partaking in Coney Island activities. Will continue to visit on a yearly basis. P.S: the new shark exhibit is pretty cool. Oh and purchase your ticket online. We all have smartphones now, no need to stand on that long line, it is still the same price. Just pay, show them the ticket on your phone and you re good. Enjoy!

It was nice, but does get packed a lot of screaming people. My main issue was, several of the tanks didn't show all the names of the different fish or they the tags with info were out of date cause they switched who was in an exhibit. I was there as part of an event for my company's summer outing & while the food was great, it was taken away an hour before our event was supposed to end, which they made no announcement about which was rather rude!

Went on July 5th, crowds were light. Parked in a 20 dollar all day lot. Walked the boardwalk to the aquarium. It was 30 bucks an adult to enter. There was plenty to see. Did the aquarium and 3d show in 3 hours.

I was very disappointed with this aquarium. The shark basin surprised me: the water was very dirty, you could barely make out. Is it because it is under construction? Having visited in several countries, that of New York is at the bottom of the list.

It was Amazing place and it could be even nicer if there are more activities to do inside the aquarium field. The sealoin show was the best. The 4D shark show was okay as well.
One advice: there is lots of walking so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Overall had a very tiring but nice day. Thank you!

Overall the visit was enjoyable however the public spaces need upgrading. When it is very hot there is little shade to be found in the outdoor areas which makes the interior spaces unbearably crowded. The sea lion celebration at the amphitheater is very worthwhile. Note that if you have a WCS pass (persons who support the zoos etc.) your wait is longer than those who walk up to pay...not good.

NYA: was not as good as I thought it was going to be, the parking lot line was long. (40mins), the place was not ready, i mean, the outside tanks where very dirty, couldn't even see anything, the inside tanks were ok, got to see lots of fish, turtles, and sharks, but no jellyfish or outerpuss, which i thought i would see, the show was good, funny.. but the crew at the pet pool area, very rude, rushing people, being so rude about it too, some of the people thier didnt know what they were talking about, but i didnt let that rudeness mess up my four year old's day, she had fun and thats all that matters to me. We got the tickets online for half off, no line no wait once we got into the parking lot... kids $12, Adults $15, I understand they just open, with the new remodeling, just hope they get more explicits, that be nice... i only give it two stars because my daughter had a good time...
