A terrible place full of refugees from Africa ... everywhere there are homeless people, drug addicts and pickpockets
A place from Zion with excellent service strongly recommends a jump
Tel Aviv is a beautiful city have a lot of places to go
The bus station itself is fine and yes, you have to buy a card, and yes the window doesn't open until 7a.m., which almost made me late to catch a tour I was going on inJerusalem, but all that was understandable and worked out. I did, however, buy a back-up battery for my iphone for about $40 and it's not working. The vendor was extremely friendly, helpful, and spoke English, but the battery must have been very old because it won't charge. So beware buying electronics in the bus station.
It's alright, you can get a bus from there to nearly anywhere in the country, but the place has just too many cons, it's creepy as hell, dirty and half of the floors feel abandoned.
You can lost in this big station. Many cockroaches on the floor
It is not the nicest place to hang around and crisp. There are loads of beggars at the station and lots of delusional people (stressful in their appearance) in short not the nicest place to be.
Dirty and dangerous full of drug addicted people around the station watch out or you may be stabed or robed.
Stinky toilet, you can't find anything. The place should be erased from the map.
A double impression of this bus station. On the one hand, a convenient bus service to all the cities of Israel. On the other hand, a den for homeless people and illegal immigrants, especially the lower floors.
There are places to eat to buy and there is everything you need
Dirty and very unpleasant smell.
It s unfortunate that the central bus station is in this condition
Worst experience of my life. It s like Satans Cave, I believe there s even satanic rituals.
Crowded, crowded, noisy and noisy. Kanyo has a great food floor and a "soon"
smells like piss, escalators don't work, workers are rude
A complicated station There is no information on bus lines and location
It was pretty much equal.
Waiting for a line that hasn't arrived yet ...
Great place for those who want to leave the country for an hour
Poor place, don't come here if you really don't have to
Dirty place but since the only bus station is big in tel aviv there is no choice.
Do not like to enter the new central station, many parts of the station are deserted and not so clean for elevators takes a long time to reach, there are not enough elevators. Scary to be there in the early morning.
A filthy and incomprehensibly confusing "design", shockingly neglected with dirty passages, lifts, third rate shops and food outlets (how anyone can want to eat in that rat-infested hole is beyond me). Dangerously and hideously neglected, escalators that haven't been working for years, this is an appalling bus for anyone, let alone tourists, to have to pass through, especially at night. A shameful failure for the country's second largest and, arguably, most sophisticated city. A third world hellhole not fit for purpose.
Everywhere you go smells of urine. Too bad that place with a lot of potential ..
I try to avoid this bus station at all costs and would never go here after dark. Please be careful at this station at night, it gets pretty scary. Buses to all around the country and generally on time though.
A place requires serious renovation, the place is not clean, and stuck where it is at best in the late 90s, it is also located in the least clean area of Tel Aviv.
It's a shame the government doesn't care about it, it's a shame that so many tourists are exposed to such a central station in such a poor state.
This bus central is not so sympatic place.
If you search for a bus Mostly it will be in the 6 and 7 floor!! Must to remember this
Most of the shops are abondon..and as more low the level then more creepy the place.
The architecture of the central bus station is the same of dizingoff central - the idea it to make hard understand where are you and where the exist...
Monster in the center of Tel Aviv. To enter, you need to stand a huge queue. Inside there are a lot of shops. But even this is not attractive.
Not a nice place. It s better to come to another stop. A lot of unpleasant people, and the area, in principle, is not good.
The worst place in Israel, it's look like The worst version of Chinatown, I recommended don't take a look of it!
It's dirty it's dirty. Very dirty ... But they guard.
Good place to take the bus. The information booths are open and they will answer any questions you have. It also has a bazaar where you can buy clothes and food.
A very convenient bus station to go anywhere in the country at the lowest price that you can find total security at entrance ..with plenty of clothing shops a Mac Donald and other shops really even cheaper than Carmel souk .. the buses are always on time and between 2 buses very little waiting
This is Tel Aviv Central Bus Station, a major stopping point to get to different points across the country. It is a behemoth of a building and a very sad commentary on good intentions gone wrong. One does not get an overly safe feeling here as it is a very rundown venue. There are several floors with shops that just sit empty. There are many eateries, some with a decent hecsher. There is a Superpharm and a few xhain stores, but most are mom and pop shops where you can find good deals, especially if you like to bargain. Bathrooms are a hit or miss - make sure to bring your own toilet paper, just in case. You can find a bus going just about anywhere with every bus line that runs across the country stopping here. They definitely make an effort to keep things nice. If you look hard, you can find place to charge your devices and a good amount of buses have wifi and charging ports on-board. Happy safe travels!!
Ugly, filthy, badly lit, filled with all sorta of shady people, dangerous at night, and in a very bad neighborhood filled with ugly grafitt and run-down buildings, this place is a cancer to Tel-Aviv and Israel.
At Kell Otto Golomb the poor service was waiting and I came especially to buy a car I was waiting in line and my representative June Prosper waited a long time and June got someone who was not in line but had a protection left me outside .... It is really unpleasant attitude. I am a quiet woman and I do not think I deserve that kind of attitude. Disrespectful and unprofessional attitude.
An absolute tragedy! Smelly nasty place. On Saturday at the station NIC can not be arranged - everything is closed, ticket machines and call centers do not work. The ticket can be bought only from the driver if there are free seats. For those interested, the ticket price from TLV to Eilat up to 70ILS.
Using bus #36 many years. Departure is on time always. Never late... Thanks!
We are unfortunately obliged to go if we want to take a bus to another city but it's ugly and room and incomprehensible.
Stay away if you don't really really have to go through this place. It's so hard to find your platform if you've never been there before. Whoever designed this place obviously never thought of the passengers convenience. Moreover, it's filthy and full of dodgy people.
Three stars only because it gets work done. Buses come and go. But otherwise it is very unclean on the lower levels, building itself is a giant maze which actually could be fun if it wasn't so dirty and overcrowded. For tourists it could be a headache to find their bus. Though stuff is mostly friendly and helpful
A brain explosion, a unique architectural object. The quest itself. Worthy of a better attitude and more attention.
Lewinsky is very rushed and dirty place lot off beggers and druggists are roaming there
Very hard to find your way around. Took me a couple minutes just to figure out how to get out. Most of the stores just sell trashy clothes or cheap toys. The waiting area for the buses are the only organized part of the whole station.
This is Israel's version of New York's Port Authority - it's messy, dirty and you want to hang out there as little as possible, but it gets the job done in terms of getting people to the places they need to get to. More signs and directions would help confused travelers a great deal. I also would recommend not getting to the lower floors (1-2)
Dirty. But there is a huge exhibition of graffiti artists from around the world. The station offers very interesting excursions. This is an amazing place with a tragic history. Everyone who is interested in contemporary art is simply obliged to visit here. Lasting impression !!!
I don't understand the logic that there is no machine on floors 6-7. People come on the bus and then see * that there is no machine * in the bag, there are security guards there that hire to put their hands in everyone's bags - something that is neither hygienic nor aesthetic. When people want to go out because there is no machine the answer is "no way out," so basically anyone who is disgusted has to let the security guard put their hands in his bag and especially women who have pads and women's products in the bag that they are very uncomfortable with. There are also those with anxieties and disgust who are concerned about things and the minimum is at least a way to get out when they come and see that there is no machine. Although in my opinion it is very important to have a machine on floors that cannot be left at the station because those who are disgusted by the security guards will simply be knocked and then when people start to enter the country they threaten to "call you police if you do not give a case", it is not a nice way to traumatize people. I suggest either having at least one machine on this floor or just building a path for people who want to get out. People who are disgusted by a security guard (a stranger) may not have to suffer from "police call" threats like this, and feel very uncomfortable. It's been a few years like this and hope they do something about it. I personally haven't been going there for almost a year and have heard of more people who have stopped walking.
A stinky, dark place. Tons of concrete. There is no drop of daylight. Endless maze of floor corridors and stairs. Put in jail the planner of this ugly and inefficient Soviet structure
If you want a bus, get the Tel Aviv format for it, go through ugly streets with the smell of urine, get into a shabby mall that has no drop of respect, certainly not some beauty charm or at least a bargain price, now you are forced to walk some 10 minutes at the worst signage I have seen Once, so unclear, it's all within the crowds of the stalls. At the end you will look for the floor ... I did not understand which floor to go according to the signage, luckily there are still Hebrew-speaking people there (the bite was clear?). The line at the platform should just go and search, or stand in line for intelligence.
The place, the ugliness, why Tel Aviv deserves this punishment.
Its good but it needs a lot of improvement specially when entering tha facility because it takes a lot of time to fall in line just to check the luggages.
It's really difficult to find
The lower ground is shopping area. Less signage for travellers
