A fun resort with a fantastic village. I have done many ski camps here and always had a great time. It has some great skiing off the top chair and if you are lucky you can catch some powder turns. Has lots of good groomers as well. All the hotels are nice and you can practically ski in to most of them. Short drive into Invermere as well.

If your going to go skiing at any point in your life, this is the mountain for you as any skill level can go to the top and make it down easy. The rooms are great as their mostly a short walk away from the mountain.

World class grooming. Their mountain hut are really cool. The views are spectacular. They have some of the widest groomed runs we've ever seen.
Panorama really needs a shuttle service for those of us who don't visit with a vehicle or don't feel like hiking all over the place to get to the general store and the restaurants that aren't in the immediate base area.
Panorama also should find a place to put the racers where they don't monopolize some of the runs favored by the paying customers.
Like many other resorts they allow racers to hog the best runs. Not to mention the entitlement mentality of the racers and coaches. We are so over the rude superior attitude that these individuals project to the resort's paying clientele.

Had one of the ski instructors not show up which was very disappointing for our 4 year old on his first day in the mountains Sam, Felicia and another girl (who I missed her name) were fantastic!! Amazing customer service and very helpful with solutions and options. This service was exemplary and will ensure my continued patronage for as many years we visit our place in Radium, which will be many.

Relaxing and the view is astonishing. It's like a little village with a grocery store like 7eleven with liquor store in it. There's also a bar and a pub that goes with it. Enjoy the gondola ride, biking, basketball, tennis, fly fishing, river rafting, and hotspring. Plenty of wildlife to see when you go hiking and sometimes you see them by the resort.

We attended the resort on July 28, with the intent...

We attended the resort on July 28, with the intention of spending the day at the bike park, riding the green and blue trails. My kids are 7 and 9, both avid cyclists and triathletes, both riding high end kids hardtail bikes. My wife was riding a full suspension, while I was on a high end aluminum hardtail.

We had reviewed the website and online reviews of the park prior to attending, and had watched what videos we could locate online - I was quite comfortable with the potential terrain, with the exception of some "northshore-type" drops and ramps, My son, who has a lower leg prosthetic, was especially enthused, as his ability to power uphill is not great, but he excels at bike handling, and was super excited about riding downhill.

So, arrive at the resort (about a 45 minute drive from our hotel), unload the bikes, get dressed and ride to the lift. No clear signage anywhere on where to purchase tickets, but I located what looked like a hotel concierge desk where they were being sold. After another 30 minutes waiting for the lady ahead of me to decide which of her offspring, relations and associates would like to participate in a variety of activities, it was my turn. I forked over $147 to ride the lifts while my son buzzed around, hyped that we were going to ride the bike park.

We then exited the lodge, where I found my wife talking to a resort employee (rental shop?). When we grabbed our bikes we were summarily informed by that employee that we could not ride the lift with our bikes, as apparently we need to have full suspension bikes to ride. I noted that there was no signage declaring that restriction anywhere at the resort, nor on the website, nor at the counter where I purchased the tickets. Still, she insisted that this was the case, and advised that we could rent full suspension bikes from the resort at a cost of $90 per bike, per day. Plus a damage deposit of $25 per bike, per day, for a total cost of $345 in addition to the lift tickets.

Now, I have been riding mtbs since I was 16, with more than 25 years of riding. I paid for university wrenching at a shop, and worked part time at a local shop for three years recently. I am unaware of anything about dual suspension bikes which magically makes it safer to ride a trail you lack the skills to safely negotiate. In short, regardless of whether your bike is full suspension or rigid, if the trail is above your skill level, you are at risk of crashing. I pointed out to the employee that there are several hard tail trail bikes on the market, and that there are several fully rigid "dirt jump" bikes, which are equally as capable of handling the trails at the resort as any full suspension. She shrugged and tried to show me the rental bikes. I then pointed out that I could attend any large retailer in canada, including Walmart, and obtain a "full suspension" mountain bike that would NOT be suitable for riding at the park, and was again met with a shrug and a recommendation to return the lift tickets.

Despite my son's clear anger and disappointment I returned the tickets, although I once again waited 30 minutes in line to do so. No one was able to answer my question as to why the full suspension policy was not on the website or posted at the hill. An email to the resort has resulted in
phone tag" with the "manager of mountain sports", and we have since returned to Alberta.

I am left with two potential conclusions from this experience:
1) That the restriction to full suspension bikes is not shared or posted so that those of us who drive out there feel obligated to pay for rental bikes - a questionable business practice at best.
2) That there is no such policy in place, and that an employee lied to us, resulting in lost income for the resort.

Given my experience I would give this resort a pass. If you are tempted to go,stop well in advance at Lillian lake and ride the trails there - free and fun.

We visited this resort for our honeymoon and we loved it!

Initially we booked a room in the Pine Inn (which was definitely dated, but clean and still in a good location on the resort), but upgraded to a studio room in the 1000 Peaks Lodge, which was so much better. We had a kitchen in the upgraded room, and could therefore cook some of our own meals. However there were also many dining options on the resort, which is nice for a special night out.

The pools on the resort were lovely; we loved that they had varying temperatures. And the staff was extremely friendly all over the resort.

We loved every minute!

Did not have a good experience at this hill. Before the trip even began we had a nice town house booked that they cancelled on us, so they moved us to smaller rooms. While in those rooms a complete stranger walks right into our room with a working room key because they double booked that as well! After that the key cards stopped working in certain areas so we got locked out of multiple doors, and since they don't actually have hotels there is NO staff close by to help you. We got locked outside in the hot tub area because of their faulty doors so the maintenance guy made us jump the fence in bare feet and swim suits into a snow bank (not kidding). None of our lift passes worked first day so we had to waste an hour fixing that as well. All the staff on this hill are very friendly and they seem like they want to help but do not have the tools and training to do so. Extremely disorganized "resort" will not return.

Some wonderful things and some strange things about the resort. Would go back in the summer (definitely love it in winter) but would be very nice to know a few key things prior to arrival!!! No house keeping in your hotel unless you stay 4 nights, no one works in the hotels and central check in cant do much for you in many cases, room keys stop working so always take your cell phone with you when you leave the room in case you get locked out of everything late at night, you absolutely can not get food anywhere after 8:45 pm unless you go to the general store and buy pizza pops, and the rooms are a little dingy for the price. I would go back but now i know not to spring for the nicer room, bring your own essentials including coffee, food, shampoo, and water, and make sure you get dinner well before 9 pm.

The room had no air conditioning which resulted in the room being blisteringly hot and uncomfortable. The sheets had holes in them and the pullout couch bed was very uncomfortable. The fan that was in the closet provided temporary relief however it did not suffice. All in all I would not reccomend going here.

I could not have been less impressed. We couldn t even go out for breakfast because the only restaurant that served it was closed for renovations. The only place open for supper was a dumpy bar. This place was not as advertised. Do yourself a favour and go spend your money somewhere else. There s lots of resorts around with better snow and way better amenities. I won t make this mistake again

Very rude cafeteria staff. Filled my cup halfway with pop and went back to top it up, but the staff very rudely denied it and said "it's your own fault for not filling it up all the way the first time." Considering how a refill literally costs pennies, this was a terrible experience. Not recommended. Find a different resort!

Love Panorama in the winter and was there in the summer for the first time. It was nice to be able to hit the pool while it's nice out because it's a great one. They're pretty serious about social distancing at the pool which seemed reasonable for the times (Aug 2020). Lots to do around, did some ATVing at Toby Creek and shot a round at Grey Wolf (beautiful course), there's tennis and mini golf on site as well. Definitely not just a winter destination!

Beware of terribly inflexible "policies". We've stayed and skied (and spent thousands of $$) @ Panorama almost every year for the past several years. Recently booked in for some spring skiing but I caught the flu a few days before the trip, resulting in us having to arrive a day late. I knew there was no cancellation on the hotel for the first night, but called Pano to let them know we wouldn't be checking in till the next day. But I had also booked my two kids in for lessons on day 1 and asked if I could move them to the next day. They said: "sure, you can book them in the next day, but we cannot refund the first missed day so you'll be charged for both". I even talked to a manager over the phone and all he could do was keep quoting their "policy". Really poor. It will be a while before I go back to Pano, if ever.

Ski prices are great, people very nice. Food......terrible and expensive! Room was perfect for our party of six and cost of the room was wonderful. But holy hell....the food. One thing I did not have to worry about on this trip was overeating. This goes for the resorts main cafeteria and the general store. All the many other restaurants were closed for the season.

Like the ski hill vert much. The free shuttle from Invermere to the hill has been a great feature... Until today. Today going up to the hill has no issue. But at the end of the day when we tried to take the 4:30pm shuttle down... They are all full, and no more bus coming! The driver lady is very nice but nothing she can do! The only option is to get to another parking lot to wait for a 5:30pm one or wait until 6:30pm. The thing is there is not a shelter in the parking lot and the 5:30 bus didn't come until 5:52pm when I have been waiting in the cold under heavy snow for an hour. At the end just glad that all my toes are still there!

Absolutely my favorite place to ski in the entire world. Been coming here 17 years, there's really only one reason, the hill has some of the best vertical you can put down in North America. The views are fantastic, and so are the staff and food

A very nice area in summer to ride a bike downhill. But it is not so suitable for Hiken. Sometimes the trails are very poorly managed, so that you depend on or ends in the middle of nothing. The selection of trails is very limited on foot.

Mini Golf was also quite expensive here with $ 12 per person. We had a room on AirBnB - take a look ;-) We can definitely recommend the place.

Absolutely ridiculous. We booked a two bedroom two bathroom, two story townhouse. We end up getting stuck in a basement 2 bedroom one bathroom suite and were told that this is a same priced room. The sleeping arrangements don't work for our group and we are made to wait an hour for check in.

We spent a low key (summer) day there, and had a nice time. There were kids activities and we had time for one short hiking trail. It was a good day, but we probably wouldn't go again unless it was for mountain biking or a whitewater rafting.
