The best pizza place in West Texas! I come here weekly and have never been disappointed! The bar staff is friendly and the pizza always taste delicious! Top it off with one of the many unique beers they carry and your golden!

Best pizza in Lubbock by far. My favorite is the Thai Curry Chicken Basil. Recommended.

My son took me here knowing I like trendy non-chain places. In a cute neighborhood tucked away from the busy streets near the university. Excellent food and surprised they had my favorite local brew from the Dallas area considering I was all the way in Lubbock.

Great little restaurant with awesome pizza!! Make your own or pick one of the standards. Large bar with beers and some specialty mixed drinks. This is the one on Boston in the Tech area. They have a new location on Slide and 82...the old rib crib. Need to try them out!!

Immediately greeted by welcoming servers who took our drink orders as we were seated. Ordered cheese bread for an appetizer, which is almost (almost) a meal in it self. Five of us shared a Capital Carnivore Pizza, which was exactly the right size. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere at this location is incredible. The management staff from the 82nd and Slide location should spend some time here to learn how things can be done

This was our first experience and it didn't start off great. They were packed and we ended up at a table jammed against the wall with people bumping our chairs to get by. We didn't get a waiter until about 15 minutes later when we went to tell them we were there.

I give them a bit of a pass on that because it was 6:30'ish on a Saturday night.

The food TOTALLY made up for it!! Maybe the best cheese bread I've ever had. Then came the Chicken and Spinach Alfredo pizza. Out of this world!

It's obvious everything is made right there and very fresh. Reasonably priced and ample portions. My wife and I took home half of the pizza.

We'll be back for sure!

Capital pizza is arguably the BEST PIZZA IN LUBBOCK! Amazing staff, management, and food! Everything from the appetizers to the main dish are a tasty delight. Their amazing selection of draft beer are sure to match perfectly with your pizza! Would recommend this place to anyone!

the pizza here isn t great. The pizza is better at the other location. The servers were nice though.

I typically prefer a Brooklyn style pizza but I loved the more breadlike dough and the toppings were great.

We order capital at least once a week, but DO NOT order from this location. They sent us 2 burned pizzas & when we called to inform them that we just spent $45 on two burned pizzas, the girl on the phone placed me on hold just to come back and tell me that she talked to everyone there and they said it wasn t burned. Never again will we order from this location. She asked us to bring the pizza back for her to look at, like I was lying. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Holy wow this place is amazing! Ok seriously, the staff was super friendly and did an amazing job keeping my Dr Pepper full the whole time I was there. Even my drink was awesome because they don t use those little sissy cups that are empty after two good pulls from the straw. Their cups are giant ones that You can drink deeply from without the dread of emptying it and having no drink as you try to flag down the distracted waiter to refill your cup. AND, even when my drink got low the cute tiny bar lady was on it, filling it like a champ. I realize that I ve gone on and on about a simple Dr Pepper but drink management is a serious problem at establishments today. The pizza, oh baby the pizza!!! I got The Big One because it has almost everything that makes me happy on it, plus the name reminds me that this pizza is not helping this belly of mine get any smaller. If you re going to have a cheat day do it right and shoot a big F-You with double middle fingers to that diet you re supposed to be on!! Trying to fight back tears of joy at seeing this masterpiece of pizza evolution, I planned my attack. Carefully selecting the slice with the most everything on it I dug in. Ohhh yessssss!! Food bliss so good that the tiny cute bar lady was both worried about my physical health and a bit freaked out by the involuntary pizza O-Face that was plastered across my mug. Seriously people, you have to try this place! They like fold the outer circle of the pizza. So instead of that strange crusty breadstick of sadness that you get with normal pizza at the end of a slice, you have this flaky triangle pizza taco that fills you with happiness. Don t be surprised to find yourself giggling like a school girl when you start in on your pizza taco. It s heavenly! I give this place 5 stars and a crisp high five. Please know that I will forever be praising this pizza and I fight the feelings of sadness as I will probably never eat here again because I do not live up here. Thank you pizza people for your amazingness and I hope that I did not scare the staff too badly.

Last time we went in waited over 45 minutes for them to take our order, then waitress took our order.
Brought apperizate and pizza out at once and never did that before.
All works where over by bar and kitchen eating while we e all waiting for drink's and food.
Our waitress was horrible, food was horrible.
Pizza dough was gummy and raw.
We told waitress and she would not do anything, so s
Decided we won't be going back and make sure other's don't either. If it had been 1 thing go wrong I would be ok, but from start to finish.
I even called the next day and they said they would have manager call me and did not.
I give this place a 0

This has become our favorite pizza place in Lubbock. Great pizza & calzones. Excellent beer selection. The only problem is that a lot of other people have figured out how great it is and it can get crowded. Maybe it's time for them to expand again.

This is probably the best pizza in Lubbock (that I have had). I am a fan of thin-crust pizza, so I was excited to see that this was an option during my most recent visit. The service has always been good, as well.

Awesome pizza and the atmosphere is great. Service was excellent. We love getting the big one veggies on one side meat in the other. However I do find it tacky and off-putting when you charge 50 cents for a tiny container of ranch dressing.

Wife really enjoyed her gluten free pizza and my calzone was pretty good. Had great drink specials and I was really impressed with our waiter(zach) and the bartender(didn't catch his name) with their knowledge of whiskey. They were both very friendly and willing to take some time to discuss what they liked and why.

Always friendly staff whether you are at the bar or getting food. The pizza is amazing, customizable, diverse, and well priced for the portions. Good for large groups or small meet ups.

If there was even an option for giving Negative stars this would be at the top of the list.the service was sorry, the waitress came around once or twice to check on the garlic bread was burnt. I have seen worse food look more appetizing. The salad was ok, other then the Mountain of olives you get with watered down ranch. The pizza it self was good minus the fact that they just throw the toppings on the pizza so when you grab a slice the toppings fall right off. They charge extra .50 cents for extra ranch "damn liberals" this is America. I was afraid to even ask for refill on my Dr. Pepper as it might inconvenience our waitress that was to busy standing there flirting with the bar tender. But I guess that's what happens when you hire college kids that have no work ethics. The only thing that wasn't over priced was the beer we had. If Lubbock ever did an award for the worst pizza place in town. This place would be at the top of the list. This was the first last and only time I'll eat at this place. And not to mention you damn near need a 4 wheeler drive to get threw the parking lot. Roads in Odessa are better then that. Their online Menu shows to have wings and no wings where to be found. HOW IS THIS PLACE EVEN OPEN???????

One hour wait for food. Avoid the Buffalo chicken calzone. Friendly wait staff.

The calzone, cheese pizza, and garlic bread were all very tasty. The ranch dressing is fantastic, but $.50/cup and we were not made aware of that when we asked for some. The service was SLOW, but our server was nice. It is overall, pretty expensive and the food is okay.

If you're looking for a delicious cauliflower crust supreme Pizza this is the place! Worth the price.

Service was good, but the food was lacking. It may have been an off day when I was there. My cousin loves the food, but this time it wasn't good.

Not sure what was was different today but the service was not very good and they were folding pizza boxes from the floor onto clean plates at the bar. The wait staff also had their drinks by the clean plates. Good was wonderful as usual, seemed like a manager was on their phone in and out of the kitchen just very much what you would expect from a college area restaurant.

One word. Phenomenal. Just do yourself the favor and go! You can thank yourself later!
