A great ski resort. Nice and casual without the hustle and night life of those other resorts. The quality of their grooming team is outstanding. Hence you are garanteed good skiing conditions. They have enhanced the eating options and as always the mountain outfitters are stellar.

Fabulous low-key location with amazing facilities. Great restaurants, bars and cafes, accommodation is affordable. Lessons are expensive, lift tickets average. Book early for lessons as they sell out fast. Kids under 6 are free for lift tickets, adults over 75 also free, you just need to get a pass. Highly recommend!

Panorama is 5 hours from a major airport . 2 days of travel needed upon arrival . Therefore don't book a short stay . If you are travelling as a family please be aware there is no doctor, medical clinic or hospital in panorama . You will need to travel 32 km to Invermere. No pharmacy , supermarket, bakery and town shuttle or taxi . Stock up before you arrive . Make sure you have premium travel insurance .Skiing is fabulous , snow super mountain guides best in the world .

We went to panorama for three days to watch our family member ski race and our experience was not our favorite. First of all, the employees: Mostly the lifties. On our first day, our family members race started at 8:40 am and we missed it because the employees wouldn't let us on the lift until 9. My mother took the problem to the lift director. He was very good about the situation and gave us comp tickets for the next day. Our family member who is my sister reported to us that apparently all racers were banned from skiing on showoff, the primary run leading down to the village for "Going too fast." My sister also had to get her poles to one of her teammates who's poles were broken and who needed them immediately but, because she was in her race suit and her pass was with her jacket, the employees did no let her go up the lift so my father had to take them instead. We observed this happen to many racers who were told to "Chat with guest services." about it.
Second: That place is ridiculously expensive. On multiple occasions, I paid 4 dollars for a extremely watered down hot chocolate. The best priced room that we could find was at the pine Inn which was fairly gross and no room cleaning when we were there which we weren't told about.
Overall, I wouldn't suggest going to panorama. There is many other resorts in B.C. and Alberta that personally I would suggest over Panorama.

Wonderful ski resort with a relaxed atmosphere, lots of options for accommodations including many quiet, peaceful condos tucked away from the bustle, easy access to the lifts from all over the village, a simple and efficient layout for getting up the mountain, gorgeous views everywhere, great snow, and beautiful runs.

This review is written from the perspective of two Ontario skiers and one Albertan skier.

We visited Panorama during the Ontario March break and were pleasantly surprised by the quiet hills and no lines likely due to our mid-week visit.

We all loved the the layout and variety of different abilities and preferences. The green circle trails offered awesome landscape views (side note: what's up with the empty shark tank on the Canadian Discovery trail!!) and the blue square and black diamond runs were challenging and super fun!

Highlights included lunch at the Summit Hut and friendly service from every staff member we encountered. It was clear the staff really enjoy working at Panorama.

Spring conditions made for cloudy views from the summit so we'll definitely try to return during the winter next year!

Great resort with everything you need on the mountain. Ski in and out and then straight to the hot tubs and out for a bite to eat. If you plan on night skiing or any of the night activities in the huts on the field then plan in advance. We missed out on fondue :(

Really enjoy the hill and all of the restaurants and services in the hill. Fantastic place for a weekend. Once you check in and park your car you do not need to go back to it. There is a small grocery store and lots of different options for bars and restaurants.

Was warmer weather so it s icy in the morning and slushy in the afternoon for boarding. Despite that I still enjoyed my trip. I like how there is a lot of long Blue intermediate runs which I enjoyed

to come back again when the weather is more favourable.

Fun place to go skiing, the hill is on the smaller side compared to some other places but the quality makes up for it I find. Good mix of levels for any skier/snowboarder. Prices seem to have gone up in the last few years but that's just the way it goes. The new nfr lift pass thing is handy, no more constantly scanning lift tickets!

Beautiful mountain scenery fresh air not as many things to do during the summer season but they do have several pools and activitys as well as great place to go hiking. Stayed in a 2 bedroom condo near the golf course great fun.

I really love the resort. The views are awesome. The vibe is relaxing and chill. If you pick a room, pick the one on top of the hill as the ones of the bottom are a bit dated and could use a deep carpet cleaning and some TLC. Overall it's cozy. Many great trails and you will find something to do with or without kids.

Panorama Mountain Resort is probably one of my favourite ski resorts anywhere. Not only is the terrain so varied, the mountain itself is vast, all below the treeline, and uncrowded. You could be skiing here for weeks and still not see all the terrain. The lifts are efficient at moving people, so that's good, I guess.

I'm not entirely sure how to rate this place. The apartment was great, lots of space, good facilities and reasonably priced. However, there are accessibility issues with various parts of the resort (we had a stroller), many of the food outlets were closed and my daughter couldn't use the waterslides because she was too small to go on her own and we weren't allowed to go down with her. The fact that none of this was communicated at check in meant that we had to discover it for ourselves, causing some consternation. So, overall a great place if you have no kids or older kids, less so with younger ones.

Windermere Valley Dirt Riders put on a well orchestrated event in 2018. Many classes, and the team handled glitches quickly and fully. Great event for the whole family! Be sure to bring ear protection for the babies!!!

This beautiful, compact resort is an excellent mountain retreat. It's all owned by the same company, so all the staff work together to ensure a great start. From a European skiing perspective the apartments are huge (and well appointed), though the general store is limited in size: expect an hour trip into town on the free shuttle bus if you want to buy from a full supermarket.
The ski runs themselves run the full range from friendly beginner greens to terrifying double black diamonds - no-one will miss out!

Fantastic grooming, sunshine and serious cruisers ,new backcountry access would be insane with fresh snow great smokies on the top of the mountain with hundreds of piques surrounding you.Top knotch!

completely love this place. bike trails are solid with a good variety of flow, features, air, and gnar when desired. only one green trail for novice riders, but it is a pretty legendary green trail. i go here at least twice every summer and cant wait to try the upper trails on the weekend up the champagne chair. golf is incredible, decent dining options, and overall a stellar mountain playground

Beauty place to ski. Gets very icey in spring time compared to other resorts. They should delay opening time and extend closing times to take advantage of proper conditions. Too bad they dont care.

Great ski in/ski out resort. Lots of terrain for all levels. Comfortable and relaxing accommodations. Good choice of eateries and a free shuttle to/from Invermere where there are more restaurant choices and shopping. Except for holidays (Family Day, Christmas) the slopes are not very busy meaning no long lift lines.

Beautiful place to stay in Eastern British Columbia. Staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. We are staying for the opening weekend and are thoroughly enjoying it. Some things aren't open yet, but for the most part they have all you need in Panorama. Town is about 10km down the mountain. There are many ski slopes and the prices for lift tickets and ski rentals is pretty reasonable.

We loved our time here. Stayed five days at the river bend townhouses with two kids. There was plenary to do and see. We took a day trip to Banff as well. Got 4 stars because we would have liked a few more dinning options. Overall very happy with the resort. There is plenty of wild life to see, they even come right to your door.

Went there over new years and it was dead. Of course it was -25 But the snow was perfect. Nothing like starting 2018 with a pow day. Lift operators are always friendly. Hotel managers also very accommodating especially when they ran out of ice on the resort and gave us a 80$ breakfast voucher. Lots of terrain for every skill level too.

Staff were great, friendly and amazing. No AC in the Springs hotel. Woke up to a leaf blower, then couldn't get to sleep due to loud music across the street in condos. Had to pay $8.59 for a box of cereal at the general store. Mountain bike trails were fun but really dusty! Saw a lady who put a dog on her table: loose covid rules. Overall ok, but could be better.

Great place for families, affordable and a wonderful ski hill that has something for any level of skier. The staff are ALL friendly and helpful, the store on the hill has everything you might have forgotten and the food at the restaurants is wonderful. We have three Golden Retrievers and its great when we visit that we can walk around all the main areas with our pups on leashes and everyone is so friendly about it. Our family uses the very affordable rental program for our children where we are able to rent our skis for the season, if they out grow something we just take it back and they give us a new size, its great. Love this place

Panorama is a great mountain to visit. There's a diverse amount of terrain to suit your fancy. The snow is varied, but they do have man made snow on some runs.

The highlight for me is the Elkhorn Cabin. The view is world class, the raclette is delicious, and there's dessert! It's a great place to enjoy the mountain with friends over a bottle or two of wine while you relax on their sofa. The restaurant wasn't busy and I'd recommend solely to visit.

Visiting this place over the years, I can say that my experience of them is getting worse. I noticed building getting old and need upgrading, hard to find family friendly places to eat after 5:00 PM. It's like really? The only place in town has been a pizza place and even that was shut down for the whole summer! We ended up driving 10 minutes to eat at the Cliffhanger restaurant.

In regards to the pool, it was way too over-crowded with many toddlers, and at the time, one of them had an "accident" and they had to vacate the pool.

In any case, I hope that management improves this beautiful natural area and not let it go down. Sad to see beautiful places with potential deteriorate over time :(

An incredible resort...well contained town and hill with everything you'd want from a mountain. Vast ski areas available with purposefully constrained accommodation making the mountain feel very open, with few skiers and no crowding. Challenging bowls/steeps mixed with mid-mountain intermediates and extensive beginners sections lower down makes it one of the most balanced resorts I've skied.

As this resort used to be owned by Intrawest (who also owned Whistler) the infrastructure is there, but now under local ownership the individuality and desire to expand the hill is far more obvious with new lifts/areas opening almost yearly.

If you're going to break the cycle of Banff/Jasper/Whistler...this is a very safe bet for something different!
