We had a problem with our room and the hotel stepped up and upgraded us at no charge; well done.
We had a problem with our room and the hotel stepped up and upgraded us at no charge; well done.
Good snow, lots of places to stay and places to eat
Tons of variety. A winter playground for skiers in snowboarders
Mountain is amazing BUT our accomodation (1bd loft) at Toby Condos had incredibly dangerous stairs. The bed is in the loft, and the bathroom/living area downstairs. The stairs are almost as steep as a ladder, with tiny narrow slippery carpeted steps.
Both my husband and I fell down the stairs, despite being very cautious and generally having quick reflexes.
Not normally something I d complain about, but really looks like a serious injury waiting to happen, especially if someone is trying to get to the washroom in the middle of the night.
There were also 3 flights of stairs to get up to the room in the building, 4 from the car park, so not a very accessible room.
Really disappointing (and scary) as otherwise the room was expensive but nice and well appointed.
Will definitely be asking for another room on the next visit.
Love this place.. Golf course is the best course I've played so far in life.. Village is great and the skiing in the sun is fantastic especially the new Monster! Bike park is apparently great too, and improving each year!
Quaint and beautiful place. Had a great weekend to go. Great skiing and friendly staff.
Great ski hill, lots of terrain variation. Fun on a board or skis.
The resort is always very polished... and that is a bad thing. It doesn't get as much snow as the other resorts arround it, and I'm not sure if the groomers don't go deep enoigh or it's just how the melt/ski-off cycle goes but I find most times I come to Panorama you are skiing on polished hardpack/ice. Which is a shame because the runs are cut with a good variety and in general I like the resort... just watch the weather before coming. In January the hill is in shadow most of the day, but in April the sun makes it over the ridge by 10am or so.
Love this place. Glamorous and peaceful. Close encounter with a grizzly
Would like to snow board but just cant. Great place tho
Mini golf takes an extreme level of skill. The turf is fully flattened and turned into a slick material. You might as we be putting on concrete. I'm disappointed by the distinct lack of windmills.
Great resort, except almost everything!!!!!!! Ahaha I say this with a grain on salt..... Everyone you will see on a day today basics is amazing!!!! So friendly and helpful and just amazing..... Now if you actually know the resort the whole place is absolutely horrible the management team should really be reconsidered...! Like ASAP ROCKY!!!!! PLUS people can afford things if I eat at alto one more time after the hill and get prissy looks (don't make a pizza place with fine dinning then) you have cheap pizza people are gunna come in that are bumming the hill.... You put that in a nice sit down restaurant? Ok but if that's the case when I'm done snowboarding for the day don't look at me like omg why didn't that guy dress up for this place.....
Great resort with great staff. The slopes are realy nice and the view is beautiful.
A nice break away from the real world. Definitely need more restaurants to avoid having to drive into invermere for dinner
Best mountain I've been to when you're looking for something family friendly.
Spacious comfortable units with ensuite laundry and BBQ, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub with free gondola access. Great vacation getaway for a family with kids.
If you want to feel one with nature, this is the place for you. Sip your morning coffee on a balcony and take in the view of the mountains all around you. Listen to the rushing of the Toby Creek (or river, I have no idea what it's actually called) and check out the deer that like to chill in the area. Can't wait to see it in the winter!
A great place to get away with family, friends or by yourself. So much to do and amazing hiking trails.
The scenery is stunning. My kind of camping!
Magnificent place, it has incredible views. Highly recommended for skiing, especially for beginners and intermediate, it is advisable to arrive early, since in the winter season, closes at 4pm.
The bike park is fantastic, I had one of the best times of my life. I wish it wasn't so busy on the weekends, though! I will be back again next year for sure!
They need to limit number if guests during Covid measures. An hour wait to get on lift. Three rides for the day. A waste of time for me. Only two stars because trails (what I saw were in good condition).
Absolutely beautiful, lovely fresh mountain air and fantastic staff and facilities.
Great little village! Lots of stuff to see, do, and eat!
the key card system awful. locked out frequently, not something we enjoyed at the end of a ski day.
Very nice for all winter sports. Lots of fresh powder, trails well groomed.
Beautiful place and friendly people but the staff isn't very consistent and it's very difficult to get around with a stroller with the lack of ramps on the sidewalks, bridges etc.
We had visited the resort about five years prior to this visit (last week in Oct 2019) and were just a little hesitant to come back as we were concerned about the accommodations - specifically beds. We were pleasantly surprised that the unit we stayed in had been updated and beds were very comfortable. It is our understanding that many/most of the units have been updated.
There are great trails to explore, however I did not hike very much as I was hiking alone and sighted a bear ahead of me on the Valley Trail - thankfully it was not curious and turned the opposite direction - as did I.
We saw a lot of wildlife in the area as we explored on short day trips (by vehicle).
We intend to return earlier in the fall when it is warmer and no snow and hope to go on some ATV adventures - perhaps with local Toby Creek Adventures tour.
Great facilities and lots of events happening around the village. Even if you don't hit the hills there is more than enough activities to cover an entire weekend!
Outstanding variety with long steep runs if you want them. Tons of great groomers right along with Taynton bowl filled with steeps and trees! Fabulous!!!
Beautiful! Breath taking views! The ski hill has great runs that are long and so welcoming to keep coming back but when there are so many its honestly hard to not keep exploring
Put a microwave in the cafeteria.... Fix ski and snowboard locks (they are all missing locking pins). This resort need some TLC.
Admittedly little hungry so perhaps this will deserves a better rating, slopes are good. Lifts are not heated and not covered.
Also maybe upgrade to heated seats for chairlifts like at sunshine
Very beautiful but do not stay at pine inn it is no good!
Great 4 season area.Stellar golfing in summer as well as mountain biking. Then skiing from late Nov to April.Great little grocery store as most units are fully equipped chalets with stoves hot tubs etc.
There is a cable car from the lower units to the activity areas and a ski lift operating in the summer to the mountain top
Great resort facilities, condos and terrain. -1 for the lack of good lift facilities. From bottom to top you have to take multiple lifts and it takes a very long time. Needs a good high speed gondola. Other than that it's just perfect.
Great hill awesome staff great rooms and the snowboarding and mountain biking is out of this world
Amazing place, great things to do and see. The rooms where amazing. I definitely will go again.
Late season and spring skiing is great! However if they haven't got snow in a few days it can get quite icy. Very reasonable to stay right on the hill.
Great family ski resort for all ages and skill level.
Very good but lift tickets were extremely expensive $125 each
Fantastic mountain biking. Lines were a bit long; but the biking more than made up for that.
Fun and serenity is the best description for this Resort.
We had a great time at Panorama a couple of weeks ago. The Gondola to the chalet from the parking lot was a treat and there was ample parking available.
The beginners area was impressive compared to other resorts we've been to. Nice big run for when you finally find your legs without have to go right to the top of the mountain.
We are a family of fairly good snowboarders. 2 adults and a 13 year old who prefer the blue runs. There are lots of runs more suited to skiers than snowboarders. Huge moguls and long flat trails to get to areas of the mountain that set your legs on fire. Unfortunately the longest trail was the only way to get to an area of blues that were our favourite runs without going double blacks first.
The lodge is well set up with a bar and great self food service.
Also loved the ski shop - wide range of goggles, clothing and accessories that range from low to high end and friendly knowledgeable staff.
On hill accomodation. Had New Year's dinner that was well worth the price. Hill staff were very professional and accomdating to our annual race camp (Summit Ski Club, Winnipeg).
Love this year round playground!! Keep the mountain bike trails open!!
Panorama is a great ski resort that also has an abundance spring and summer activities that are fun for everyone. I really like the mountain roads and trails you can find.
Great resort. Amazing location on the hill for skiing or riding. As well as many great restaurants and shops to visit. And a candy shop!
Good family-friendly place to go skiing. There is decent terrain for all levels of skiers. Great amenities
I enjoyed my two days snowboarding at Panorama for a few reasons. Staff is professional and courteous. There is a lot of terrain and even late in the season, the grooming team works wonders at night freshening up the runs. There s lots of options when exploring. Other skiers and riders were, in my experience, polite and friendly. The huts on the mountain offered different experiences, and the food vendor on the mountain the day I stopped by had yummy jackfruit tacos. I experienced some equipment failures and had to patch up a gouge in my board. I was able to get new equipment and a tune up overnight. This was a real bonus.
Such a great place to spend time st. Staff is amazing and tons of awesome experiences to have.
This is such amazing resort to spend a relax time with friends or family. A lovely place!!
Great resort that has something for all year round. Skiing is great in the winter. There is also great golfing and downhill mountain biking. Trails in the area are great and some nice lakes as well.
Panorama was and amazing experience. My family and I only went there for a couple hours since we were staying in Radium. The mountains were beautiful! I would definitely stay there for a few days! I especially loved the gondala ride.
Skiing in the Purcell mountains while looking at the Rockies. Need I say more?
A magical place. I've been going to Pano for 36 years and all the changes have only enhanced the experience. I wish the hot pool was accessible to valley folks (for a fee, even) after a day of skiing...especially in spring.
We had a nice summer vacation here. There are lots of things you can do in and around the resort.
I stayed here for a week in Janurary and really enjoyed everything about my stay. The room was a bit dated, but other than that I had a blast. Only downside is that the mountain was extremely icy so I barely snowboarded. But the food was delicious.. especially the tomato basil soup!! The staff were really nice and very accomodating. And the hot tub was really nice to relax in after a long cold day.
First time there, i enjoyed a lot and family had a blast. Only disappointing was the room not very clean
Beautiful location, Good accommodations but a parking nightmare!
Enjoyed the new terrain, and had soft snow over the whole mountain. Lifts are ok and functional. The back bowls all funnel into the same gully, which can become difficult for intermediate skiers to navigate. Overall had fun and will return.
Beautiful views, quite compact village, great skiing for those with sharp skis.
We have been coming here every year for the last ten year's. We love how big the mountain is and there's something here for all skill levels. We also love that it's not too busy here so the snow doesn't get tracked out like a other resorts. There are lots of places to stay on the resort for all budgets. All the places we've stayed at have been nice and clean and we always receive great service. The best part about panorama are the hot springs which makes this resort so unique and very family friendly.
Great facility - should meet the need of a diverse demographic...
I've been here in march and the weather was so warm. I was worried if the snow melted already but it was not, the condition was great and the staffs were so kind! wanna go next year again.
LOVED it here! The mountain offers something for every skill level, the staff were all great, and the views were stunning. Staying here for a week, my wife & I got to see & ride the mountain under a wide range of snow conditions and had a great time though all of them. We're already planning our next trip back.
