Very nice place with really good membership deals....
Very nice place with really good membership deals. We would do the annual membership if we lived here. Enjoyed a few of the exhibits and will come back again when visiting.

The renovations were were well done and the museum has even more space for the artwork and adds a few more places to get into the museum. Great job, it makes a great museum even greater.
After seeing some amazing art we enjoyed a surprisingly delicious lunch.
Nice museum has three floors. Start a top and then explore.
There's so much to see here - including many famous pieces you'll not want to miss (Van Gogh Starry Night, Monet Water Lillies, Warhol's soup, Mondrian to name a few) and many more surprising pieces as well.
It's great when it isn't jam-packed with tourists, which is much of the week, but if you schedule well, the shows and collection are consistently interesting.
Super crowded and zero logistics. It was a Friday when we visited the museum. The good part is it was free, but I think they can (and should) make the experience better.
Five Star. Phenomenal. All dishes from the canapes to the main course was sublime. Wait staff was excellent. Great atmosphere.
Great museum be prepared to walk because you'll need all day to see everything.
If you come to New York then you need to visit MoMa. Fantastic museum with some great art on display. You can also see Van Gogh The starry night painting! You can have lunch at the cafe that has a nice menu!
I have been a member for like forever and I love this place. As a member you get to enter earlier than non-members so definitely think about becoming one.
They always have a great selection of art
Starry Night - Vincent van Gogh is on display ! As well as 5 floors of interesting and changing abstract and modern art for your viewing pleasure.
The displays vary and they offer guided tours. It has a nice cafe and sometimes outdoor events as well. Check their website and signup for their newsletter.
Could spend a whole day inside not getting bored. PS: very cold inside during the hot summer days, bring a cardigan with you :)
Who wouldn't love this meca of modern and contemporary art. Become a member so you can pop in and out at will
Most of it is too good for words. Listening to the artist and curator recordings over headphones made a tremendous difference, I only wish there was more of it. I wanted to hear about every piece.
Amazing, just amazing! Love It! ...have to return with hugh time!
The best museum I visited yet. The number of great artists represented here and art collection is impressive.
My favorite museum in NYC. For young people can be pretty interesting since it s art is amazing and the museum itself is a piece of modern art. I can assure you, it s a very great experience. And don t forget to buy a little souvenir.
Must visit to get a glance at some of the famous paintings
Definitely go on Friday free zones if u want to enter for free but u appreciate art skip those times.Too crowdy.
I love love this place! The architecture is gorgeous, they have ticket machines so you don't have to stand in line to buy some.
Their cafe is amazing, and their service is fantastic. They have free coat check. You can't use your SFMOMA membership to get in for free, so that was lame. But must visit if you're in NYC.
A must visit for NYC. Some of the most iconic pieces of art in the world.
World class museum. Plenty of activities for kids and teens
Never disappoints! Snowman exhibit was so cool (no pun intended)!
Nice place to see all types of art work.... great day with my daughter...
Pricy but world class and always something new to see. Evening the permanent collection is exciting. Locals also enjoy the movie series schedule of classics. They even have their own app, so download that before you go.
Van Gogh to Picasso to Pollock. Come here to be inspired.
Best part of MoMA is the film program included with admission. The on-going exhibitions always educate as well as entertain.
To see Van Gogh in person was one of the may beautiful experiences.
I'm not necessarily a fan of modern art but MoMA is a nice museum to wander around. They have a free bag and coat check which is nice.
Great art; also love curation of the sculptures inside the museum. Barnett Newman's Broken Obelisk definitely leaves an impression.
Awe-inspiring! It is so exciting and strange at the same time to witness the master works that you have always seen on the internet but have never got a chance to see in real life. It took us 4 hours to visit every floor of the museum. The diversity and strength of each exhibition really amazed me.
Every time different exhibition. Every time different experience.
Very big. Even with a small interest in art this place is very nice. I'm generally not really interested in art but thanks to the free audio tour(you will need to turn in your ID/driver's license paired with your email) i could here the thoughts and reasons behind most artistic pieces. Quite a few different collections, so they will most likely have something in their arsenal you will enjoy!
The opportunity to see live something it's in every Art History book...
Love it. Plan well and cover major attractions before freewheeling
The MoMA is a formidably excellent museum as it has a diverse selection of art exhibits that surely will entertain any artistically related interests, including hyper modern art, installation art, impressionists, a sculpture garden, and much more. The MoMA offers any visitor a truly interesting and enjoyable time, highly recommend.
Can be a bit hot inside, the food and bathrooms are actually pretty decent, try to actually look at the paintings instead of taking pictures.
Free for Sony students and we get to skip the line to pick up tickets at special services. The gift shop is full of quirky finds.
A must visit if your in NYC
Always going back.
Good, but not amazing like you would expect for how crowded it is.
Excellent exhibits but this museum is MASSIVE. Stay away from free Fridays, as they let too many people in. Definitely not for people who dislike crowds or touching and bumping into other people. Big draw is Starry Night. Worth paying just for less crowds alone but definitely treat yourself. Family friendly. Food available at cafes. Entrance is on the north side of the building. Must check all bags. Easy process.
Saw the Bruce Nauman exhibit. And the Judson Church exhibit. Thank you. I like this museum but it's too expensive.
Fantastic time but as expected really busy. Take your time because others aren't and can kind of make the place feel a little hectic. Start at the top and work your way down floor by floor, the famous classical art is on the 5th floor if you're looking to see the money makers.
Thoroughly impressive. So easy to lose track of time wandering the galleries. Make a day of it.
Overrun with people - terrible art experience. Visited here 10 years earlier and it was far better maintained.
The most famous artwork in the world - all under one roof. My favorites were the Starry Night, Water Lilies, and Jackson Pollock. Like the guides will tell you - start at the top and work your way down through the collection. Be sure to check the maps of each floor to make sure you don't miss any galleries. The New MoMA combines all art types together, so you'll see paintings, photographs and movies together in the same space.
The 2nd floor has a kid's area that my 10 year old loved. The day we were there activities were weaving, observational drawing and map making. If you have kids go here 1st and they have an activity booklet and scavenger hunt to fill out as you work your way through the museum.
Be sure to get an audio guide - they're free
Very cool and interesting place. Check out the Pope. L exhibit!
Good museum, good pieces. Prices aren't too bad and you can defiantly make most of a day out of the place.
Ate lunch at the restaurant and I really enjoyed the foie gras ravioli. The menu was really fun and it was actually tough to choose a dish. I was told they had old english on tap but they must have run out by the time I got there. I went with the Wakatake cocktail instead.
I went to the gift shop and was astonished of how much creative things there were there! There were so much options, and everyone loved the shop! I would absolutely recommend.
Its so amazing, the art is so culturally defined and diverse. And bonus the prices are responsible. I can say I honestly enjoyed the MoMA
This is the ultimate museum in the U.S. for modern art. We spent an afternoon, since we were on a schedule, but we could have spent the day
I was a bit ambivalent about visiting after just a so-so experience at the Met, but this place absolutely blew me away! So many great paintings and exhibits to look at and explore. And there were plenty of restrooms, not just one in the basement that takes like 20 minutes to get to in the Met!
Beautiful collection of Modern Art. On a rainy summer day, it was a bit too crowded to my liking but still worth the visit.
Quite a few pieces of Picasso and contemporaries. Superb!
Free audio tour available in quite a few languages. Don't forget to take one of these. It definitely adds to the experience.
Some of the paintings had audio items for kids as well. I haven't seen many kids around but I have checked one or two stories for kids. Great aid to introduce them to art.
You can easily spend a full day but there is an audio tour of about an hour to just take in the highlights as well.
Kids up till 16 years of age have free entrance.
Layout is great, but worth going to the fifth floor as soon as possible to see the big hitters
One of the more important Modern art museums in the world. Has many exhibitions such as Louise Bourgeois.
Nice museum BUT do not go on Fridays if you paid in advance.
It's free cause of Uniqlo so it was extremely packed and hard to pass by.
This is where I wish I could give four & a half starts. My only problem with the MoMA was the first couple of floors focused on modern performance art, which has never really been my thing. However, past that was all the amazing paintings & sculptures that I thought were fantastic! If you are a Jackson Pollack fan, they have some great work of his to enjoy!
The MOMA was a nice visit. Had many paintings of famous artists and some lesser known ones as well. They also had sculptures, photographs, and viedo galleries. Obviously the most crowded parts were around the Vincent Van Gogh paintings and Pablo Picasso. Was pretty surreal to be so close to the Start Night and Water Lillies paintings. Outside they have a nice sitting area around a water pond. Has a huge 20 ft metal Rose scultpture which was pretty cool. Just a short walk to Central Park from the museum. Just a tip, no drinks allowed. Even my sealed water bottle had to be tossed in the trash can.
Great time. Not hard to see all the paintings and works of art. Only inconvenience was having to leave bags in another area. I understand the safety concern though
Just a different kind of museum experience. Made for those who love as well as those who want to get introduced to art. Just beautiful.
So many amazing exhibits to take in - you need to put aside hours to do the collection justice. Unfortunately didn't have that luxury but so priveleged to have seen so many thought-provoking and historic pieces. Would love to go back
When you are in town, have no idea of where to go, this id the place.
One of New York City's premier museums in a city of great museums. Admittedly some of the artwork is bizarre, but some is stunning. Fun multi - floor layouts, traditional art (Van Gogh) as well as modern (Pollack) and Free Friday admission make the MoMA a big apple winner.
I love visiting the MoMA! There is always so much to see and learn about!
World class art exhibits. A little something for all types of sensibilities. Museum store however, needed more selection for the typical tourist
Great place to spend a few hours. The sculpture garden is nice and cool in the summer.
The exhibit of the old 8 and 16mm film is well worth the time to sit and watch them and read their stories. As well as the photos of the old telephone operators.
You haven't visited New York City If you haven't been in MOMA!
Spacious museum, impressive collection. Must see in NY. I would recommend starting on the top floor and working your way down.
First time going since renovations, have been going since I was a kid. This is prob my 14th time and it always felt like it was too small, not anymore, ALOT TO SEE! Bring walking shoes. I usually start from the last floor (which is usually the headline exhibition) and make my way down. Lurk the store too, full of cute stuff. Free coatcheck as well.
Highly recommend! I visited on Friday, when it's free. I don't know about the art so much, but it was very fun. I loved 4th and 5th floors mostly!
Very crowded, even on a Monday morning, and I wasn't so impressed with the collection and exhibitions as I was expecting to be. Would choose the MET over MoMA any day.
Wonderful place for a fascinating afternoon. Great permanent collection and two changing of exhibits. Photography, painting, sculpture - you'll find amazing works.
you can just say it wow for the collection's made in this museum......love to visit again and again....with my life partner...........<3
See some of the world's famous paintings, contemporary art and design. A must do attraction. We arrived 30 minutes before opening and were pleased to avoid the biggest crowds. The shop has great range of prints.
Incredible, thought-provoking. A little crowded, but totally worth it
Great Gallery showcasing a wide range of modern art. Including works by Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and Claude Monet.
I visited on free Friday and was almost put off by the queue. However once tickets started being handed out at 4pm the line soon cleared. The gallery was much busier however while an issue for some this did not bother me. The terrace on 5 restaurant was a great place to grab some refreshing lemonade.
Beautiful architecture. There is a late night opening on Saturdays. Impressive collection, especially the Impressionists. Must visit if you like art.
I get free tickets here, cannot complain. Van Gogh, Picasso, Miller and so many artists' pieces. Normally, I go straight to 5th floor and revisit famous pieces and look seasonal exhibitions. Typically spend 2-3 hours.
I am not a big art fan, but I really enjoyed it everything.
Such a great time with Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, and many more of great artist paintings. It s worth every minutes here. Avoid free entrance day on Friday. It s so crowded!
I didnt take pictures here because they have so many many things in the exhibit which you will have to experience yourself. such a big variety of things that can entertain you for hours in this 4 floor massive place. staff was great and never was rude. if you dont mind crowds, go there on free musuem time (Friday 4pm-8pm) but if not I think the admission $25 is worth it
Wonderful place to visit in NYC visits - top exhibits!
Amazing, even compared with "old" MOMA. Go. Spend time.
There are so many world class exhibitions.
I was impressed by how close I could get to priceless works of art.
