Scary unclean rude staff....just go around the corner from that and go to the Union Rescue Mission instead I've only been to the Midnight rescue mission one time and I will never go back again that's how bad it was

I'll tell everybody this these people are not here to hand you anything they are only here to help you with the basic necessities to get you on your feet the rest is up to you

It sounds wonderful. A member of my family needs something like this to help him stay straight. I wish we had something like this in Nc. Congratulations to all those involved in this wonderful mission of rehab.

If your in need, it's a place to go. Can be crowded but it has bathrooms and feeds 3 times a day.

That means a 5 Star here in Skid Row, (the "vibe" is worse, the mo-bettah) "Why else you on skid row? Sheeit, Midnight...? When they OPEN? HA! 24/7, it's your funeral!! HA-Ha, hehe-he heh, eh... hgmph....Gotta dollah?"

The one star goes for bad business morals. They are gender discriminating. I wanted to volunteer with them and they rejected me because I couldn't bring an entourage of friends to join me. Seems like an easy solution would have been to simply team me up with other volunteers, but no, my friends or nothing. Seems like the paradox of a mission, good intentions with bad initiatives...

This place saves lives. Its not comfortable, sweet or fun. You'll work and do a whole bunch of things you REALLY wouldn't normally do and even want to do; you'll work, you'll have to put up living in close quarters with others and shower in open showers. You'll even be required to feed the homeless on the street at least twice a week. If your really serious you'll be required to obtain a 12 step sponsor and attend a 12 step meeting EVERYDAY!!! The result: You become someone with dignity, and much more... results vary for everyone. It all depends on how much work you put into it and how emotionally mentally and spiritually sick you are whenever you arrive.

Because you get to serve the homeless meals. There could b some courteous and discourteous people. I like the kind ones more.

They definitely have a good program. Went here because I heard about there bridge program and end up going to there drug and alcohol program. They have a lot of resources at your disposal. Im going to take advantage of the opportunity.

Awesomely attached outreach programs for the community

My team goes out there, every two months with our Church, Menoministries on 88th and Crenshaw, Pastor joins us and we do this out reach with him. Our non profit is Positive Zone Worldwide. We feed and take out bags and bags of clothes to give to our brother and sisters. Such a great blessing. Proverbs 22:9 The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.
Proverbs 14:31 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.

Place is alright. Some staff are questionable and they have cockroaches down in the cafeteria. Saw one crawling on the wall while volunteering.

The staff treat you with Respect and are very courteous towards you.

Great place for homeless people to find direction in their lives.

I go there all the time I eat lunch sometimes I eat dinner it's a good place to go when you don't have any food

This place offers help ranging from housing, rehabilitation, medical, meals and community outreach to those less fortunate and those with substance abuse issues. All for absolutely no cost to those individuals it helps. A great place for a second start in life. They are staffed with well qualified people in all areas of expertise to help you with assistance or to point you in the rite direction. They give you all the tools neccessary for a successful transition to live a better life.

Im a e1 cadet. If you have military attire wear it! Alot of these people will take your money out of your shirt pocket. A worker took money out of my shirt pocket. Also alot of these people are dangerous and they do not abide by the law!

I donate clothes and should... I love that they are excepting of everything donated to them. They also give you a reicept with your items listed.

To many people are sleeping around in the court yard

It is an organized place however
the hygiene is poor and a lot of the people don't shower mainly because there are no partition between the showers.

Excellent drug and alcohol rehab program for non christians

I work here so I have to give it a five. Great place if you take advantage of what it is intended to offer.

Great place if you're looking for a new start or just a little bit of help

I don't know why my friends make a joke ,when they noticed that I sleep on the mission. In fact, its better than be laying down on the street.

Very good people they do a lot to help the homeless

I don't volunteer here anymore because I don't like walking through the filthy streets around the Midnight Mission.

A+ A+ this is the best place ever to volunteer or donate food or money. The staff is incredible. They serve over a million meals each year and 92% of every dollar they raise goes directly to helping the homeless. They are all angels

The midnight is the best program.But you need everything to get you back on your feet and the midnight does that and puts you in something. But everything is going good. I'm focusing on my family getting the papers that we need too getting your life putting in order.

Been known to 'donate' my time, help out those who...."And was it not Abe Lincoln who said...." And furthermore, I had the notion...and I quote, "Etc.,etc.,etcetera...'"
