Honestly... the food, as expected, is comparable to any county funded institution "cuisine", (and, yes- I both regrettably and gratefully- speak from experience) But just the fact that the Midnight Mission trudges on, fighting the seemingly unwinnable fight called "homelessness" should earn them nothing less than 3 stars in my book. And this is my book (!?). The fish was unidentifiable and slimy however the bones came in handy to pick out what I can only guess was some sort of potatoes au gratin (potatoes gone rotten) that seemed perfectly happy stuck between my teeth. We'll leave it at that.

The best part was keeping these two dudes AWAY from my kids...Now-if only I can enforce this Judgment, me and my three daughters can live free and un_________!! But, this is only America, where poor people do not get the luxury of rites, freedom, and privacy...oh well, we're breathing!!

Very helpful and great food, very good, caseworkers ok good. Two out of them I recommended too. But they help with jobs. Matter of 3 months you can start working a small job here. Beds are mostly clean all the time. They do a bed clean each month. Bathrooms get cleaned very good each day. Shower as much as you want... Buffet all you can eat. Jobs, opportunities here, help you with housing. Club here, they can get you connected to resources quickly then most shelters. Got plenty of programs you can get connected to while here in this shelter. 80% of the people you see are volunteers. Very good with people, very layback and it's nice. Great gym and everything.

They are doing the best they can, especially what they have to work with. All in all, we need to keep them around. Lots of good service and helpful for the community and the impoverished people!

Never had the chance to visit, but I do know one thing. Clancy I. made a huge change and positive difference in 40 + years he worked at the Midnight Mission coupled with the people who serve in all their capacities. Seeing Georgia full of joy is a reflection of the love she and others have for the Midnight Mission. Bless you all! RIP Clancy.

Thank you for letting me use your facilities. I very much enjoyed that corned beef a few months ago. The Entree and other appreciative diners made me feel like I was in a better place. I'll try to make it this HOLIDAY SEASON to enjoy.

Midnight is a good place with good people and help for people in need. However there is one staff member a big tall man who works in at night in the emergency shelter. That man cusses all night, he is negative, intimidating, obnoxious, and i never will stay there again as long as he works there.

The Midnight Mission is a home for lost traveled of L.A..The homeless can find three meals a day, showers, shelter, and their new home could be found here and through services provided to any one who is in need.Men, Women and children can play here. A most amazing eye opener the Midnight Mission had for me tonight. While visiting the cafeteria after hours for a meeting my eyes were drawn to the absolute, most possible cleanliness of kitchens still serving food at a fast pace unloved atmosphete ever to be seen by my eyes. I have worked everywhere fine dining military, schools, you name it. The hard work and dedication can certainly be seen in the Midnight Mission kitchen. 5 stars to you A fotever gtade Sincerly your niegbor and client Chris lyon

A great organization with an awesome mission! The fact that they have never closed their doors in over 100 years is impressive. I strongly recommend that everyone volunteer here at least once and get a tour of their building.

A perfect example of how non-profit organizations with good intentions, have unethical staff members that have no regard for the population they were designed to help. Rita Richardson, women's program director, should be reevaluated and be held accountable for the lack of structure and program guidelines.

I was last living there in 2016. Bridge Program was fairly new, so a lot of the logistics had not been worked out yet. I have visited periodically since then and it looks much improved.

I didn't visit that place, I was passing by, but I sow people on the street sitting on pup and food everywhere on the floor. I think Google should get involved with this kind of situation. I meant since google is in to everything this days.

Too centered around mythology for me,but if you find yourself in a bind and need shelter or food they provide it. Centered in skid row, so hopefully you can deal with homeless people.

Took the tour of the place and had a chance to volunteer for lunch service. This place is doing so much for our homeless community as well as recovering addicts. From health programs to education and food service this place strives to do the most with every cent they get.
