Nice location, front desk people were quality, but the cleanliness of the rooms and the decks is more like a low end hotel, at $375.00 per night the rooms just are not cleaned properly. We travel extensionally and I assume the House keeping department simply doesn t have a good quality supervisor. I would suspect they probably cut corners and don t have a quality well paid housekeeping supervisor..

Our Stay over there was FANTASTIC!! The resort super clean and the staff is on the ball! By accident I prested 911 on my phone while making a call and 2 minutes later, 2 employes were at my door validating our security! Big thanks to AMBER for her welcoming and helping us knowing what the do in the surroundings!

Very nice. Good food. Staff was great. Couples package, room with patio (i.e. balcony): Pricey but worth it.
Behind the nightstand and inside the lampshade was clean (very few hotels pass this test, even ones visited by the Queen of England fail).
The adult-only pool is a nice change. And there is a family pool also. "Accessibility" is in mind. The gym opens to the outside with a view of a vineyard.

Great customer service from the moment we checked in. Courteous staff greeted us since the moment we stepped in until we left. Breakfast included in rate was complete, with many choices on menu. Pool and Jacuzzi very clean and kept at a nice and warm temperature, surprisingly, since it was winter. We enjoyed walking through their vineyards and tasting their own wines at the "cavern" TRINITAS. Bedroom and bathroom was clean and updated, featuring lots of pillows and fine linens. So much to do, and eat, or simply relax by the pool/jacuzzi.

My wife and I were in town with friends visiting the wine country. Our friends decided that we should stay at this hotel. We were extremely disappointed. The rooms were very expensive and it felt like we were at a Hampton inn. Rooms were not clean and the a/c units in the rooms were very loud. Room service took forever and the wine that they offered for your stay was undrinkable. Highly do not recommend staying here. Left a similar review on trip advisor and the manager said that he would call me to discuss our stay. Ha. Never called.

Super convenient for a low key vacation. Has 8 tasting rooms and a micro-brew across the street which allowed for us to stay close to home base, avoid a long drive and still sample some of the local vineyards. Napa had little in the way of night life and the Crush lounge was one of the most nicely appointed bars and one of the only ones open past 11pm. My girlfriend has Celiac and their Siena restaurant, coffee shop and Crush were all able to accommodate her so that she felt comfortable eating without fear of contamination. All staff were very nice and helpful, excellent concierge service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Conference venue on the nearest edge of Napa to the Bay area. Uninspired food without much help for vegans. Running is possible around the rather small vineyard seemingly planted on the slope across from the hotel for the views of it from the rooms. The hotel is on Corporate Way and is next to the Intelsat building. They make it work but if you blink too much the illusion of being amongst the vines takes flight and you are back on a corporate industrial park. Still, it's better than having to be in the City for a conference. Rooms are peaceful.

The room was decent and spacious but they had music blaring from the pool courtyard outside our window all night long. I called the front desk at 3:45am to ask them to shut it off and they said they have no control of the speakers, so I just had to deal with it.

When I arrived our rooms were not ready. The staff offered drinks, which was good start, but did nothing to address the two tired disappointed ladies accompanying me. The rooms were very nice and as expected for this level of accommodation. When asking the concierge about spa services I was coldly told they do not handle any spa services. That killed the spa for us I occasionally enjoy a cigar. When I do I try very hard to follow house rules and not inconvenience others. The Meritage made no accommodations for me, and I even approached staff to confirm. Realistically staff should be able to direct me to an appropriate location. Further when loading my vehicle after checkout there was garbage spilling onto the ground in the dumpster area. I would expect staff to at least bag the refuse to limit the guest exposure. All on all a good room in a decent location. Great amenities, just don't expect a true 4 star experience.

Great staff, clean room. You need to ask for room service daily for a fee, but room is stocked with plenty of towels. Beautiful views. Restaurant and bars on site. Tasting rooms across the street.

We went for a wine tasting at Trinitas Cellars and discovered it's one of many at this beautiful resort. There's a very nice courtyard and outdoor fireplace in the village and even a small market. Because it's part of the resort, the wineries are open later than most of the other ones in Napa. Definitely would visit again!

The Meritage is one of the best resorts/hotel I've been to in or around Napa Valley. Their rooms are never outdated with constantly updated TVs, kitchen appliances, bathroom essentials, and they make you feel like you're at home; that is if your home is a multi room mansion with great amenities like a bowling alley in their crush bar, and their very own coffee shop since the closest starbucks is a couple miles or so away. This place is great and in my opinion, quite worth the membership or if you get to rent a room, that too.

If you literally want a trash dump outside your room and to have hotel staff not care...this is the place for you. Wow...this is our third stay here and the worst by far!! We ordered food at the bowling alley that we never got and are still hungry...but there is a trash dump outside our room!!

I loved this place. This has been my best hotel stay ever. There is a daily resort fee but thats how most resorts work. The service was exceptional. They helped us book dinner reservations, spa reservations, and go to the best places in town. They also have a shuttle service to downtown Napa where there are restaurants and bars and shopping. I also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine they provided. They do give you free water in the fridge but theres also a $7 bottle of Evian on the counter so make sure you open the right one. The attached restaurant was delish. On downside is the resort is a little away from some of the good wineries. There is a $109/pp tour that will bring you around to 4 or 5 wineries but it does not include tasting fees at the wineries. Overall loved this place and did not want to leave

If I could leave No Stars I would. We booked a romantic spur of the moment get away weekend to Napa on Hotel's Tonight. I was really excited as we booked it and headed up to Napa for my first time. The room they gave us had a view of an air conditioning unit and some other industrial items for the hotel. We had a window but Zero view as it was all blocked and there was a fake plastic owl in the window. When we complained they said it was a busy weekend and that is the only room they had, unless we wanted to pay more. Nowhere on the listing did it say we would be getting the usually discounted room with no view.
That being said, I knew we were spending the whole day out and about so I let that go. When we came back to the hotel we went to the pool and we had to ask the staff 4 times to turn the hot tub heat up as it was really cold and they kept saying they would and never did.
The Icing on the Cake was Later that night we decided to order room service and I ordered creme brulee. When I received it and cracked the sugar shell, the creme part was Chunky and GREEN!. I almost threw up, and my boyfriend called the front desk and they were shocked. 2 Minutes later 3 official hotel people came to our room and quickly took the whole service away and didn't even apologize. All they said was we are going to test this and get the results for you tomorrow. They were just as shocked as I was. We then called the front desk again, still being hungry and they said that the service was closed! I couldn't believe it! They Never got back to me with any "Results" and they also tried to charge us for the food on our bill at check out!
They did Zero to make up for any number of the bad things that happened to us that weekend and I will NEVER be going back there. I advise others to choose other locations to stay as well, and if not.. just make sure you don't order the Creme Brulee!!

Stayed at the Meritage for 5 days, 4 nights for business, and every day it was the same experience

Inside the Room:
Walls and ceilings were paper thin so you can hear your neighbor opening/closing doors or walking while you are in your bed. My room was missing the Do Not Disturb sign the first night, and the in-room coffee creamer looked rancid because it came out in clumps. The TV and channels look like they're from the mid-2000's with 27" screens and remotes with no channel guide functions. Also no mute button either.

Outside the Room:
When I tried checking in, I had 2 of the staff people give me wrong directions to my room. They also wheel these noisy carts right outside the build from as early as 5:30AM to 9:30PM pretty much each hour, so much so that I had to sleep in the bed closer to the door with ear plugs. They also do not serve any lunch and the meal options are really breakfast and dinner (open from 5:30PM). The Siena restaurant staff were rude too where they always served cold bread despite being one of the first few customers and make me sit in a table not of my choice. Food is ridiculously expensive with those small meatless pizzas costing over $17 per pie.

The hotel and their grounds we're beautiful! The concierge however, left something to be desired. In their defense they had a very busy weekend with many weddings.

When we arrived two and a half hours after our check in time a room was still not prepared for us. When asked what they were going to do intially we were told we'd have to wait. The intial woman we worked with was kind and went to talk with her manager. Another woman came back and offered to move us to the resorts other property, which was not acceptable to my party. She kept repeating over and over again, they have a fridge! Upon our displeasure the manager was sent out to us and offered us a room, late check out and some money off our stay. It was a rough start to a weekend of relaxation. Further the tiny fridge in our room was extremely loud and had to be turned off, our keys were turned off prior to the late check out time offered and we had to remind them to take the money off our final bill. All stressors that shouldn't be occur at such a beautiful resort.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The rooms are gorgeous and it is close to the wineries but not too close that you are in the busy area. But the best part is the spa. I have never been to one like it and will always compare to it now! My Husband and I had the couples package and it was well worth it. You also get to enjoy their eucalyptus steam room which is amazing!

Decent and relatively new room, good bed and clean bathroom, attentive staff, vineyard view from rooms definitely makes it good place to stay in Napa getaway.

Location is a bit off in industrial park, but they hide it well by making rooms vineyard and pool facing. But still it is a bit far from everything.

Pretty big hotel and it does feel like a hotel experience, but a bit less corporate than Marriott and those chains. Would be a good choice unless you are looking for more intimate place or better location.
