Always a treat to dine at Manila Hotel's Cafe Ilang Ilang. Fridays are Seafood Fest! First time to eat on a Friday night. Too bad there are no scallops but anything else seafood is there.
Service was good and very accomodating though timeliness of billing out can be improved.

This iconic hotel is really love.

experience the hotel's rich history; still retains the old world Manila charm; breakfast buffet is splendid; popular with tourists; visit the McArthur suite; select from rooms that provide view of the walled city of Intramuros and the downtown skyline or rooms that give a grand view of world famous Manila Bay

Manila Hotel refurbished its facilities to make it modern. It's not too old and drab now but has the elegance of a premier hotel. Loved the Afternoon High Tea Service, ade special with the quartet playing in the background.

Great employees, great place.

Great employees, great place.
I was lost in this big place; but wherever I go, the employees will greet and guide you with courtesy. Even if I didn't know which restaurant our gathering was held in nor did I wear a tuxido, just smart casual.

I always stay here. Their buffet breakfast is amazing. It has a wide range of selections. Its quite expensive for a buffet breakfast but hey you'll be very much satisfied.
In the room, some of the fixtures just need an update thats all.
Customer service is truly a Filipino hospitality (even if you're not a foreogner checking in)

Conventional but pretty rude ....

Conventional but pretty rude ....
Just like a song that describes a certain bellboy at the right side near entrance ... I am george pedrosa, a flower supplier to my client who happened to checked in at the manila hotel ,, my call time to deliver my flowers is at 7am and i arrived 6:40 am last january 30, 2016 ,, greeted promptly by the people at the entrance then accompanied by a respectful staff to load my flowers, 5 boxes of flowers for the entourage and a shower type bridal bouquet ,,, and i said sir sa room 1717 po ,,, when i was about to go this man on a white uniform said to me, sir lest you can call your client first because there are so many incidents that have not been checked in the room what are you looking at ...... Just imagine that 5 boxes where I was carrying and holding my bridal bouquet in my left hand and at the right bridal car bouquet is not it so hassle that my mr leads me . Bellboy though I understand how it really is. So what I did i called the bride personally and I said to the hotel staff that was ok and I talked to the bride ,,, on my thoughts dun ata nairita sa yung mr.bellboy and he said to me ,,, sana sir sa front desk kayo tumawag ,,,, nung kasama ko na nakikita ko na hindi kasya sa isang cart yung flowers ,,, sabi niya, ano ba naman nyan ko but that's all, but I was silent and looked and I was ashamed because of the guy I was driving .....

My question is this, am I really a visitor to the hotel who should call the client? From your staff giving me directives that you are in the front desk to call ....

To the management ... I am just a small person that dont afford to accomodate rooms on your hotel, but being sarcastically treated by your staff i think is not an excuse ... Hopefully you'll be okay even suppliers or visitors ... My company i work with always recommend your hotel ,, you may have nothing to choose when it comes to treatment.

Thank you for hearing my story.

The deluxe room I got to check in is spacious and comfortable. I love the bathroom, it is big with having both a bath tub and a spacious shower room. There is tv too which is cool. The breakfast buffet is superb! I love my stay here. A little bit pricey but what can you expect from a 5-star hotel.

This hotel don't deserve 5 stars. Well aware of that it is a "classic" hotel, she has seen her best days. Facility and amenities are worn out but worse, the service is far from what you expect and what you get in equivalent hotels in and out of Manila. I stayed at the executive floor for three days and the service was not only poor but straight out bad. The good! Nice pool, lobby, interior and gym
