The buffet was superb, in my opinion. Good quality of food, meat and seafoods. Actually, for me, it is the best buffet amongst hotel buffets all around Metro Manila area. And the price was alright, too.

Ilang Ilang resto is ordinary food at ridiculous prices. Ordered grilled German Frankfurter. I was gonna be ok with the USD$11 price if it was prepared right. The food came, and it wasn't grilled. It was just warmed over in a pan. The lack of care manifested in the criss-cross cuts not even getting brown, the sliced skin not even curling at all. The bread wasn't toasted. The potato salad was bland. Be prepared to be disappointed

Everybody was friendly except for the guest relations at Red Jade. She told us that they cannot accomodate us due to high volume of guests are the restaurant. We asked if se can wait, she checked inside then escorted us in the restaurant to see that they were not full house!
Aside from that experience, everything elsd was superb. Can't wait to be back

Beautiful hotel and large very nice rooms.? Very polite and helpful staff. Easy check-in and check out. The breakfast buffet is is large with many choices but the only negative thing I can say is that most of the food is cold. We ate in the room for dinner and the service was tops. There is a tap room in the hotel but it is more set up for business instead of relaxation. Over a Hotel that is deserving of 5 stars

Nostalgic and great as ever. Was there when a heavy down pour came. Parked on the side where the centennial hall is. 1 hour into the rain, we were notified that those with cars may need to transfer parking as the parking area is slowly submerging in water. Porte Cochere of the hotel was not submerged but the entrance and exit gates was already flooded about 6 inches deep. Was able to get out of the hotel. Roxas boulevard from hotel to Kalaw had 6 inch deep water so if you encounter water in Roxas blvd in that area, it would be safe to assume parking will also have the water that high. Even side parking outside manila hotel had about that same level of water.

Really nice place with age an tradition seeping out everywhere. amazing breakfast and waiter service. Reception and room service teams either do not have enough staff or should work on coordination a little.

Beautiful iconic hotel with history. MacArthur's 'fort' in WWII...They have a suite named after him too.. Mostly used for grand events and parties... Nice staff...very popular with expats and Filipinos for brunches and spa. Rooms though have seen better days, and most are in need of attention...

A grand hotel situated right next to rizal park, subic bay and intramorous. Stayed here for 3 nights from 29 August 2019 in room 817. Getting to the hotel from the airport cost about PHP500, hotel counter is available right after arrival building and was qouted PHP2000 for transfer from airport to the hotel. Staff manning the counter was courteous enough to offer grab reservation as it was available nearby. Hotel security was really tight as the transport must first go through dog sniffing inspection. There is another security check with body pat and scanner inside the building. Check in was fast, the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. My room was great ll and clean overseeing the subic bay, with a large king size bed. Variety of breakfast buffet with a section catering for muslim guest. As a muslim guest the breakfast variety can rather be limited as for both days i had breakfast here, it's the same menu. Hotel wifi is available for 4 devices with good bandwidth. Housekeeping was friendly and able to attend all request. Checkout was fast and your wifi access will be terminated as soon as you check out. Will stay here again in future.

It is a very old hotel. Its facilities are not upgraded as compared with other hotels of the same kind. The food is average and nothing spectacular. It pales in comparison with other 5-star hotels in the Metro Manila area in terms of food and facikities

It is worth trying, but not worth repeating.

Beautiful hotel, with a lot of history. Great service, a lobby you don't mind waiting in, nice pool with swim-up bar. Couple different dining rooms, all distinctly different but elegant in their own ways. Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. Strong WiFi.

A 5-star hotel located in Manila, right beside Manila Bay, along Roxas Boulevard. The hotel is historic as Douglas MacArthur stayed here.

Had a chance to stay there for the weekend and would like to give feedback on various points, rather than give a collective one.

Room - we stayed at a deluxe room at the 7th floor. The room was spacious and modern while retaining its old Manila look and feel. Amenities are adequate. Minibar is scarce but prices are reasonable. Shower area needs some work on the pipes. We didn't use the bath tub but looks clean. There's a tv inside the bathroom too.

Housekeeping - fast and friendly staff

Room service - accommodated my requests (asked for more kimchi). Easy to talk to. Food arrived in less than 20mins

Pool - good sized pool. Had a lot of people but I was able to do some laps on the deep end. Poolside bar was also great! Didn't like the fact that the air smelled like sewage.

Gym - great equipment. Would like to try their jacuzzi and sauna next time

Massage - my husband and I tried their Manila Hotel Signature massage in our room, and it was fantastic. It was very relaxing and we fell asleep almost afterwards.

Concierge - helpful. No complaints there

Ilang Ilang Cafe - breakfast buffet had a lot of options.great food and fast service.

Reception - I have mixed feelings with this one. The service was quite slow... We checked in at 3pm already and it was still full of guests waiting for their turn. When it was our turn, she said that the room we requested is not available and if we can take a room at the smoking floor. We reminded her that we called ahead and were guaranteed the room we wanted. We got it after all!
A good lesson is to assert yourself, especially when you already booked, called in advance to give your preference (take note of the person who took your call).

Aside from mishaps at the reception, Manila Hotel is a travel back to elegant and classic Manila! A must visit when in town.
