Went to see the Blue Man Group. It was a very nice experience. All of the folks who were there to assist us were very helpful. There was a little mix up in the tickets we were accommodated with what I thought were way better seats! All in all it was a fun event for all ages.

I've been to a few performances at the Lied Center and all of them have been great so far. Ample seating, great sound, but not too big so every seat has the perfect view of the stage. The only complaint would be that the seats are rather itchy so I've learned to wear pants instead of dresses.

Very nice performing arts building on UNL campus. They work hard to bring in great productions every years. All seats are good seats...except for maybe the far sides. Sound system is good. They also do educational classes.

A great performing arts center for Lincoln! The quality of the shows they have been bringing in over the past few years has really gone up, especially the Broadway productions. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful venue in our hometown!

We saw Post Modern Jukebox. It was a wonderful show. The acoustic of the Lied Center needs work.
The other thing that needs work is the men's restroom. The room is too small. Too few toilets and too many urinals. When my shoulder is touching the guy next to myself that's too tight. There was a long line to use the toilets because of how you are packed in to use the urinals.

There is always something good going on here. We went Saturday to see our son perform at his concert for UNL Show Choir camp. A week of music, friends, and independence from mom and dad. He had a blast. Will recommend seeing any show here, and the camp they put on is awesome!

Beautiful theatre and lobbies, and overall a very classy place. It is easy to find someone if you need assitance. I have been to many performances here over the past two years, and each one has been high quality.

I saw Chinese Warriors of Peking here, and it is a great venue, and they bring a lot of great performances here. As a student at UNL, it's a great place to see some professional performances without breaking the bank.

Unfortunately, their aren't enough good seats in the Lied Center. Programs are nearly always sold out and season ticket holders have most of the best seats. Seats sold on an individual basis for a program nearly always put you in the back rows of the main floor, under the balcony or way off to the side of the stage.
We've had seats in the balcony where understanding the spoken word has been difficult if not impossible at times. The acoustics are not what they should be for a venue of this type, and they sorely need updating.
They've done a better job of pricing in the last few years, but getting good seats, as I mentioned before, is nearly impossible within 4 weeks of a program. So how is lower pricing a plus?

The Lied Center is wonderful. The usher volunteers are friendly and helpful. I've noticed that the staff and volunteers handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. I enjoy the performances and especially love that any seat in the house is a good seat. At the orpheum in Omaha, unless you pay a large amount of money for great seats, you can get stuck with some pretty crappy ones. The Lied Center isn't as pleasing to the eye compared to the orpheum, but it has great acoustics and a beautiful stage. I love seeing performances here.

I attended the Church Basement Ladies Last Potluck supper on Thursday April 16, 2015.

My seats were in the second row of the balcony. I was unable to hear all but I few words in the complete first act. At intermission I went to the observation room for the second act. I could hear everything there perfectly. Needless to say I was disappointed with the sound system. I understand the first act was very funny, too bad I missed all of the verbal humor.
