Amazing shows come to this stage and the student discount is awesome
Just saw a show and they had great arrangements to keep everyone safe during the pandemic
Went to see the Blue Man Group. It was a very nice experience. All of the folks who were there to assist us were very helpful. There was a little mix up in the tickets we were accommodated with what I thought were way better seats! All in all it was a fun event for all ages.
I've been to a few performances at the Lied Center and all of them have been great so far. Ample seating, great sound, but not too big so every seat has the perfect view of the stage. The only complaint would be that the seats are rather itchy so I've learned to wear pants instead of dresses.
Seats are a bit cramped but it was clean and very nice otherwise.
Very nice performing arts building on UNL campus. They work hard to bring in great productions every years. All seats are good seats...except for maybe the far sides. Sound system is good. They also do educational classes.
Here for an event and was blown away. Great ushers and very supportive audiences
Upscale, buy not snobby art gallery with many options for family outings, activities, and interactive displays.
Love the new seat assignments that follow social distancing guidance as well as mask mandate inside the hall.
Went the the Blue Man Group, it was great! I love this venue.
Loved the show. The environment was outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing.
Great establishment that knows how create an ever lasting time in any event!
Great opportunity to attend family events. Classy venue!
Best place to see a variety of performances in Lincoln.
Excellent facilities. Went to the production of "Hair" today. Great talent! Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Phantom of the opera very worth it. The show was great.
The AC could be higher. Also, there are no drink or food sellers in here.
We have attended many events at the Lied . Always, we are welcomed warmly and graciously by the volunteer staff, and thoroughly enjoy the repertoire and professionalism of the overall experience.
Wonderful experience. Delightful place. Saw the musical "Bandstand ", wish it would of been a little louder, but thoroughly enjoyed it the way it was.
A great venue with a wide variety of shows. Been to multiple shows here and have never been disappointed.
Fantastic venue to see the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra!
A great performing arts center for Lincoln! The quality of the shows they have been bringing in over the past few years has really gone up, especially the Broadway productions. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful venue in our hometown!
A great venue with a lot of fun concerts! Ordering tickets online is easy and staff are all very nice. UNL students get a discount on most shows!
What a beautiful arts venue, not a bad seat in the house.
I like the Lied but the sound is not clear on the back on the Orchestra level.
We saw Post Modern Jukebox. It was a wonderful show. The acoustic of the Lied Center needs work.
The other thing that needs work is the men's restroom. The room is too small. Too few toilets and too many urinals. When my shoulder is touching the guy next to myself that's too tight. There was a long line to use the toilets because of how you are packed in to use the urinals.
WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE THIS PLACE IN LINCOLN!!!!! amazing sound. GREAT staff. Gets amazing talent.
There is always something good going on here. We went Saturday to see our son perform at his concert for UNL Show Choir camp. A week of music, friends, and independence from mom and dad. He had a blast. Will recommend seeing any show here, and the camp they put on is awesome!
Beautiful theatre and lobbies, and overall a very classy place. It is easy to find someone if you need assitance. I have been to many performances here over the past two years, and each one has been high quality.
We were there for the Air Force Singing Sergeants and the AF concert Band and the music was great.
University of Lincoln School of Law graduation brought us to the Lied Center. What a beautiful venue with comfortable seating and great views from every angle.
Maybe we were to close up to preformers but most of the illusions were not that impressive.
Excellent venue for shows of many types. Nearly every seat has a good view of the stage.
I saw Chinese Warriors of Peking here, and it is a great venue, and they bring a lot of great performances here. As a student at UNL, it's a great place to see some professional performances without breaking the bank.
Unfortunately, their aren't enough good seats in the Lied Center. Programs are nearly always sold out and season ticket holders have most of the best seats. Seats sold on an individual basis for a program nearly always put you in the back rows of the main floor, under the balcony or way off to the side of the stage.
We've had seats in the balcony where understanding the spoken word has been difficult if not impossible at times. The acoustics are not what they should be for a venue of this type, and they sorely need updating.
They've done a better job of pricing in the last few years, but getting good seats, as I mentioned before, is nearly impossible within 4 weeks of a program. So how is lower pricing a plus?
The Lied Center is wonderful. The usher volunteers are friendly and helpful. I've noticed that the staff and volunteers handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. I enjoy the performances and especially love that any seat in the house is a good seat. At the orpheum in Omaha, unless you pay a large amount of money for great seats, you can get stuck with some pretty crappy ones. The Lied Center isn't as pleasing to the eye compared to the orpheum, but it has great acoustics and a beautiful stage. I love seeing performances here.
The best place for theater. A landmark in downtown Lincoln. Thanks...
Attended The King and I. Wonderful building, and I will keep great memories of being there with my family.
Beautiful place, amazing staff and excellent services. Gmail location, great practice and excellent service. Great location, wonderful staff and amazing staff.
Awesome venue with stellar acoustics. Not a bad seat in the house.
Very nice facility, we have seen several shows here and have never been let down.
I attended the Church Basement Ladies Last Potluck supper on Thursday April 16, 2015.
My seats were in the second row of the balcony. I was unable to hear all but I few words in the complete first act. At intermission I went to the observation room for the second act. I could hear everything there perfectly. Needless to say I was disappointed with the sound system. I understand the first act was very funny, too bad I missed all of the verbal humor.
Wonderful theater with Broadway tours, Dance and music seasons
Went to the Studio 2 Dance Show for 2018 -- the kids all danced great; and what an awesome place to watch these kids perform!!!!
