Decent place but random disappointing incidents with the restaurant staff made me cancel my plans to book my office staff trip here. Honestly I m surprised because I ve stayed at Leela hotels before and the service and behaviour of staff has always been exemplary.

Amazing property, best to stay in and enjoy the property. North Goa is 2 hours by car or cab. Highly recommend to hire a car as soon as you land (at airport) for convenience to travel. However, the buggy service need to be improvised drastically and also the morning breakfast has very limited staff which makes it difficult to get food serviced. The beach staff is very helpful and cooperative. Overall, Food was amazing, if you want to try places around then I would recommend tanggies, which is 2 kms away.

We stayed nov11 ro nov15. As soon as check in started. Hotel require full money upfront.
This was weird policy different than rest of the world. Looks like they have no faith in there customers. If they keep this type policy. I will never go back to this hotel.

Hi

Hi
We we're in Goa after 33 years.we had visited Goa on our honeymoon.we completed 30 years In Singapore so thought of celebrating .we chose two hotels from many on booking com.
The finalist were grand Hyatt and Leela .
We stayed first at Grand Hyatt Goa and later at Leela .I think staying at Grand Hyatt made us compare and grand Hyatt wins ....there are many things that could be picked up from there and implemented.i could go into a point to point comparison but that would not be nice.we had a pleasant stay ..thank you.

A vast, verdant expanse abutting the Arabian sea and the Sal river! Has only 200 odd rooms in 75 acres. We stayed in a conservatory type room that overlooked a huge lotus pond. The rains added to the mystique and charm. The place is also right next door to The Fishermans Wharf - a legendary sea food restaurant.

Wonderful upscale beach resort. Nestled between a river on one side and the sea on the other, this spacious and green resort is a perfect place to relax, as it is quite far away from the touristy places. Professional and courteous staff, great facilities, and very good dining options make this resort one of the best I have stayed at.

I had stayed here a few years ago and we were on a business trip, this is one of best resorts in Goa that I have ever stayed at. The place itself is so huge that you need a golf cart to go about. Of course it has an 18 hole golf course in itself apart from the artificial lake a clean beach etc.. One can also opt for a Villa to stay in which is close to the beach.
Staff were very kind and courteous
Rooms were very well maintained and some of them had a wooden ceiling and wooden fan.
Options of restaurants and food is good.
There are a couple of tuck shops outside the resort about 300 meters.

The Leela Goa exudes warmth and hospitality. In the sprawling property scattered with lush thickets, rivulets and flanked by the Arabian Sea, it is one of the most picturesque locations ever.

The architecture is beautiful and awe-inspiring, a throwback to classical and medieval Indian Architectures, a beautiful tribute.

I have been to Leela twice in 2018 and both times was a wonderful experience. The property is well maintained and the hospitality is impeccable. Every staff member , from the Gardner to the manager is courteous and strives to do their bit in making the guests feel special.
Through my past experiences in some other 5 star resorts/hotels , I have noticed that sometimes when you get a steal deal while booking on a travel portal , there is a difference in the type of rooms we receive or the extent of hospitality... But not so in Leela... They made us feel special and valued at every moment. They offered cake and wine as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. They even took the time to note that it is our second visit and had a note for us in the room saying welcome back...
There is a list of complimentary activities planned out throughout the day in the resort and the weekly schedule is present in the room. From swimming lessons to Tai chi to kid activities to happy hours... There is everything that you might need to rejuvenate during your stay ... Not to mention the host of sport facilities tennis, table tennis, badminton basketball. At every point there is attention to detail. Small things that are just thoughtful. Like after a game of badminton my husband and I were returning the racquets, all tired .. and immediately the person there offered us cool wet towels and cool water bottles .. it was a small gesture, but no other resort offered this.
I enjoyed bicycling around the property, around lotus lagoons, over small bridges , surrounded by Flora and fauna... And the ride along the beach was especially exquisite.
Last but definitely not the least, very good food. We took the breakfast and 1 meal package and had zero complains... Every dish was tasty and the buffet spread was across 3 rooms to cater to every taste.
Overall I would highly recommend Leela and definitely return to it for my next break .

Luxurious and calm, decent in house dining options. Nice rooms with excellent service. The only thing lacking is a private beach, but yes there is access to an open beach where you can relax.

Had been in Goa for almost like 'n' no. of times. Have stayed in most economical to most costliest hotel but Leela is altogether a different experience. Starting from your entrance to your exit, stay in Leela will take you to seventh heaven. Food is awesome, service is great, rooms are best in Goa.
Breakfast spread is great, lunch is a glorious as expected and skipped dinner as have a habit of staying on a beach shack in night. Have you ever had fantasy to review the best hotel you ever visited in maximum words, well I had but I'm so overwhelmed now that I'm unable to explain about this hotel. Actually, this experience is magnanimous.

The place is very nice and tends to calm, but it is far from the capital and lacks services around it, and the closest supermarket to the simplest things is a distance of 3 kilo, and the place takes advantage of the guest in every tea, even a cup of tea with taxes, and the place to live after 8 pm
