The Lamb is an amazing dining experience. It's beautiful on the outside & even better on the inside. The staff are extremely courteous & attentive to any & all of your needs. The food is beautiful in its presentation & amazing in its quality. You wont be disappointed I'm sure of it nomatter what you are expecting in regards to your dining experience.

This o e of the best restaurants in the area. Everything I have had from the menu is well prepared . Prime Rib is outstanding is superb. The Chicken Pot Pie is exceptional. It is essential to obtain reservations.
We stopped in after my Dad's funeral with a party of 14 and they accommodated us very quickly and privately. Food and service were excellent; we were very appreciative.
12/15/16 had the oyster & chicken salad. The salad was in tiny cubes with loads of onion, awful.
Four oysters were a disappointment.
This was the fourth time ordering this platter. What the heck happened!

Just moved to area from the city. Drive by here a lot it s always packed so we decided to come here for date night. Ambience was night. There was a singer singing music was kind of loud. We got a booth in dining room. We ordered app-calamari which was basic frozen calamari. A Cesar salad which was blah chicken was not fresh. I order the prime rib which was suppose to be great according to the server. It was blah super fatty and it came with INSTANT MASH POTATOES for $28. My boyfriend got a blacken snapper which was a piece of over cooked fish with tons of Lawry s and maybe some Cajun season on it that was also $28. Definitely not worth it. Maybe I guess people come here for the drinks. Don t go
I have been to this restaurant 3 times in the past year. The food is wonderful. I would highly suggest ordering the salad that has the raspberry vinaigrette and candied pecans with salmon, it is soooo good and keeps me coming back.
Unfortunately my experience tonight while picking up take out was not very good. The hostess took quite some time to acknowledge my presence (I walked in the door and I was the only person standing there). The hostess waited some time before finally looking up to acknowledge me and then spoke to me while never actually taking her eyes off her phone. Another woman came over to tell me that she would be right back with my food. I asked the first hostess if I could pay her. She said to wait for the second lady(again not lifting her eyes from her phone). Im not here to complain about her being on her phone during a slow time ...but the fact that she couldnt be bothered to make eye contact with me made me feel extremely uncomfortable and really really unwelcome. The food was fresh and very good so I will give this place 4 stars despite this one hostess
Had a group luncheon with attendance at 48. While meal was very good, service was good, the room size relative to occupancy was in need of accommodation. It was extremely tight. Restaurant should have recommended a larger room or if unable informed guest beforehand.

Food and service were both quite good. Drink prices are a bargain. Some dishes were far better than others, in terms of preparation and portion. If you order right, you can have a fine meal. Order wrong, and you'll have an OK meal.

Food presentation was awesome, most of the food was fantastic. The server was attentive without being annoying.
I only gave it 3 stars because there were some disappointments. The ribeye steak was very difficult to cut and eat due to the many stringy tendons throughout the steak. I also wanted medium rare and asked the server if the cook knows how to cook a steak. She said it depends on who you get, so I ended up having it rare just in case they might overcook it.
The other disappoinment was that there was a TV right by our table. We just came from a funeral service and the last thing we needed was 24 hour news on the impeachment proceedings.
Last disappointment was the Lobster Bisque. There were no bits of lobster .
We like the porch and they have great service and very good food!

I've chosen to review their banquet facility, something I don't arrange often. The occasion was a memorial luncheon for my recently passed Mom. Staff was courteous during the initial phone call to make arrangements, and everything we discussed was true. There were no hidden costs tacked on after the actual event. The Porch features a set menu from which you make selections to offer your guests: entrees, desserts, and bar. The bar was my first experience with their Captain's Table concept: self serve for my guests on a selection of wine and beer; mixed drinks charged to my tab by my guests via their servers.
The food itself was very, very good. I chose to serve chicken marsala or a flounder dish. Veggies were little potatoes, carrots, and small broccoli heads. House salad for all. I opted for cheesecake as my dessert.
Both entrees were under $23, so didn't hurt when I fed 30 guests.
The Lamb, now known as The Porch at the Lamb Tavern, has been a family favorite for years. I've not ever had a bad experience there.
There is nothing like it for Thanksgivng. A relaxing dinner with the most delicious food. Cream of mushroom soup, Fruit and cheese tray, salads and rolls of course.Traditional Turkey and stuffing, delicious crab cakes, dill salmon, prime rib, ham with a glaze, stuff shells, shrimp with cocktail sauce fresh mixed vegetable medley, mashed potatoes with gravy. A complete dessert table, if you can eat dessert, with fresh fruit and toppings, and soft drinks, tea and coffee included. All the above for $50 a head tax and tip included. Alcohol drinks not included. Also wait staff top notch. 3:15 pm seating for 10 of us and never left till 5:30pm.our 2nd year and no disappointments.

Foods Fantastic!!!! We sat in the outside "PORCH" by ourselves as the 4pm time was /is usually quiet!!! Service was awesome! Price was better then I thought it would be . We left with a doggie bag 5 Stars because I've NOT eaten off the dinner menu for a many of years but I imagine it's still fantastic !!!! It's been around since I can remember. That says it ALL!! Thanks for your constant ease in making so many Funerals a little easier by hosting the final event in a lives loved ones life!! Recommending y'all to folks who fall into this situation I've always felt confident that your service is the beat!!!
Very good food and the banquet rooms are cozy. Perfect for a funeral gathering of 100 or so. RIP Uncle Jack! You will be missed!
There recently for dinner. Sat outside. Saw a mouse run across floor. Entrees were horrible. Pork overcooked to the point of no return. risotto looked like Mac and cheese. Left immediately. It's a shame too because the bar area is nice. Wont go back
It's hard to give this more then 4 stars. I went there after a funeral. We were in the hall above the main bar/resteraunt. The service and food were very good, with a very professional staff.
Did outdoor dinning, very nice setup, service was great, Food was ok, but you will spend a fair amount of money there. Not on my go back list, unless it's after a funeral.
Went for Mother s Day brunch. They sat us in the bar area. Far, far away from the main dining room. We had to walk through two dining area just to get to the food. Not worth the walk. The experience was ruined.
We had a great Easter brunch here and definitely recommend.
Great room for our pvt. dinner. Hot turkey sandwich was sippised yo be on croissant but I believe it was just plakn white bread. Portions could be a bit more generous. Nice ambience and really liked decor. Looking forward to another visit.

This was a lovely place to have a party for my uncle's birthday. Delicious food, good service. My only complaint was the fact that in order to accommodate two smaller parties simultaneously in the big banquet room, they partition the room but the partition is a curtain. Not a good sound barrier. We could barely hear during some of the speeches because of the people chatting as one does at a celebration in the party next door. But otherwise, a great place, excellent location, parking and beautiful and clean bathroom. The holiday themed decorations were tasteful and elegant.

Six top, nice quiet niche, comfortable. Pulled pork sandwich was too salty, inedible. Calamari seemed to be all coating and no actual calamari. Dipping sauce was good, not terribly spicy. Fried oysters and chicken salad very good, would have liked another oyster and chunkier chicken salad. Drinks were good, Sam Adams seasonal was cold, full pints. Parking was very good.
Their potato soup is to die for. Ask for it when ever you come here.

I sat at the bar at Happy Hour today and the food was great. However, the bartender was overtly rude in a demeaning manner to one of the other wait staff and the exchange was clearly heard by me and others at the bar.
The food was good but the service not so good. As someone who works in the food service industry I'm sensitive to the customer service aspect of an establishment. The server was abrupt and made you feel like you were unconvincing her by sitting in her station. I paid attention to her at other tables and she was the same with them as well. They would be better served to vet their staff better.
Disappointing overall- food is okay but not worth what they are charging. Used to be a place I would make the effort to travel to eat as my family did for 3 generations. The management also seems more about being right then doing the right thing which probably explains why the restaurant wasn t busy on a Sat night. On positive side plenty empty tables so no wait or real need for a reservation.

The husband and I went there for father's day. We haven't been for awhile. Food was great as always. Love the view out the window even if your on the other side of the room like we were. It was a little to cold for me and the people at the door coukd have been more inviting. Nevertheless we probably will go again.

Ok for a quick bite and a beer, nothing fancy. Decent selection of draft beer, although limited, and an OK food menu. I almost always get the roast pork, which is pretty good - decent long hots on the side. One downside is that they close rather early, 10pm, on the weekends - so it's a food place with a bar, not a bar with food.
So overrated. Instant mashed potatoes are a complete turnoff for me.

What a beautiful place. First time there and the service from the bartenders to the food servers.....was the best. There for a sad event but will be back for a happier time. Thanks to all the help. You made a family lost a lot easier to get through the day.
