The Lamb Tavern Review

The service was not great. It was a surprise bday party. The meals were placed a week a head. The server still came around to get our orders. Then the portions was not equal. One plate had 1chunk of chicken w/pasta. Another plate had 3 chunks of chicken. Salmon plates were not the same either. I would not recommend this place.

Food was good but soda was flat..nice atmosphere. Convenient location.

We went here for a birthday. The food was excellent. It's not cheap, but there are some very good mid-priced dishes. They were helpful enough to find us a seat where we could have quiet away from the music. They also have a lovely outdoor section with gardens in the back.

The place sucked black fire roasted balls. Aborigine balls.

Always a great time. Small private room fit our needs perfectly. Portion sizes are spot on. Great combinations for whatever you like. The shrimp risotto was fantastic!

Slightly overpriced but the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place and would come back anytime

We had a private function after our matriarch's funeral. The restaurant did a splendid job, the service was courteous & impeccable. The catering was delicious. Five (5) stars *****

Great pizza. The Anchovies are pretty amazing, and I don't normally love them. Fantastic service and good wine selection. I also love the vibe of the restaurant itself.

The food is really good, but a bit pricey. What was unimpressive was their customer service. Our table didn't receive any drink refills, and our waitress was barely around to ask for anything. Our table waited a long time for the check and then waited so long for her to pick up the check that I had to go find someone to handle our payment. Very frustrating.

Are here for my last meal with my parents before going off to college. The atmosphere was lovely. There was a pretty candle on the table and soft music was playing over the speakers. I'd reccomend this to anyone. I had the chicken with linguine and it was . The chicken was so crunchy and the pasta had delicious herbs all over. Absolutely delicious. I ruined my diet, that's for sure. We had ice cream with raspberry sauce for dessert and it was probably the best ice cream I'd ever had ever.

I usually have a good experience here. The food was good, that's why I gave 4 stars, but the server took a while to get to us, then never checked until after we had finished the meal. A good 20 mins went by between dropping the plates off and picking up the empty ones and asking how it was. It just doesn't deserve 5 stars.

Good food great bar just enlarged it plenty of TV s around it . Bartenders very nice

We had our mother's 90th birthday dinner here. The manager (Kathleen R.) was very helpful. We were a little squeezed in at the tables. The waitress that took care of our dinner guest was extremely good! She never keep our guest waiting. The food was good.

They have done a wonderful renovation here where they enclosed the porch and this has made the bar area much bigger and more user friendly. We had a nice experience there enjoying the live music they have every Thursday night. This place is fun. People were even dancing! Food was good, beer selection was good, and the prices are good!

Went there for my wife's 40 yr high school reunion. The food was great.

Service is fine and the venue is nice. Helpful to accommodate for food allergies but that doesn t excuse the bugs in the unwashed salad.

We had our Dad's surprise 80th party here and it was really great! They provided a beautifully decorated room and a great wait person to attend us. The food was delicious, crab cakes & roasted vegetables, chicken parmigiana, Caesar salad, and many beverage choices. He was very attentive which made us all feel well taken care of and special. Everyone enjoyed the party.

Unfair to judge the food. We were at a wake. Service was excellent. Food must have been prepared in advance.

Great time on the "Porch" that started as happy hour and morphed into happy night. Great service with the bartenders that were extremely efficient and accommodating by refilling our water with each round of drinks. Highly recommend.

I expected a lot more from them the soup was horrible lobster bisque? There was no lobster mushroom crab not so good.flatbread poor basically all that we got was below par l hope it was because they just opened sorry to say I could not recommend them

Went for a reception after a funeral. There was only one server for 45 people. He seemed angry. Service was slow. Crabcake was good but potatoes were extremely salty. I could not eat them. The place did accommodate a gluten free patron.

Food was fantastic. Had the fish tacos, very yummy. Also had French onion soup sooooo good! Great job social distancing as well!

Lovely environment, went with a group of 8 for lunch. Love the lighting, it has a very romantic feel. Service was a little slow but the food was good. I will return but probably have a smaller group.

Had a bridal shower here and staff was wonderful. Mariann is so helpful, friendly and professional. Beautiful setting, modern and clean. Food was delicious too. Highly recommend booking an event here!

The service is always top notch and the food is excellent. My wife and I always order something different and no matter what we order the meal is fantastic. Also have great burgers. Suggest you make reservations.

A fantastic place to have an intimate dinner. You can be seated with lively folks near the bar or somewhere else in the house-turned restaurant. Poutine was exceptionally rich so make sure you get some bread to levy the richness. (Yay more carbs)

The ricotta gnocci was pleasent from start to finish. You're met with a fulfilling bite that tastes better as you get a bit more of the red sauce into the bite sized morsels of gnocci. Definitely take your time with this meal, it's heavier then it looks.
