We loved our time at this ski resort. Our snowboarding lessons with Will aka Billy were great. I wish I had his level of patience because I was annoyed by me after a while lol. The bunny slope even though a bit crowded at times was perfect for my group and it wasn't too difficult. I wish the locker area was a bit more spacious with a few more benches for changing boots. Also, the food is not worth the price just bring your own lunch.

This place is EPIC!!! This resort is HUGE and offers something for everyone and has snow making abilities I have never seen before. The lodge was great, the store was supplied with a little of everything, and the facilities were clean and maintained. Excellent time here and our favorite resort of the Big3!!

Pretty magical! I have a new, added appreciation for this resort after having ACL surgery. I used to enjoy the more challenging runs and bowls at Louise, but now I m so impressed by how awesome a day of blues and greens can be! Louise really has something for every level in nearly every part of the mountain . Can t wait to ski here again!

I am updating my review because we recently visited the ski resort in the summer time.

Winter review.
The lodge is a very nice ski lodge. I really like that they have both automated ticket booths and window booths for you to purchase tickets. The staff are all very happy, how could you not be at Lake?
Food at the lodge is a little pricey, as is to be expected for lodge food, but it is very good. Can be difficult to find seating especially if you are in a large group. Bathrooms were always very clean. We are planning to go back again this upcoming season.

Summer review.
The gondola/chair lift to go up the mountain is very fun. My wife and I did it on a day that was on-and-off cloudy. We rode a chairlift up and it was not busy at all. Although I think the price was a little expensive we still had a great time. The staff will let you know if there have been any bear sightings that day so you can decide if you want to go or not. We wanted to see a bear but had no luck. When you get to the top you can wander around the fenced in area or you can leave the fenced area. We left the area (and had bear spray) and did the Kicking Horse Trail. Because the day was a little cloudy and wet it was absolutely dead quiet. We saw four other people on the whole hill. I don't think I would do this again because of the price but I am very happy I did it once and would highly recommend it.

Went near the end of season. Skiing was good despite the expected icy spots and uneven snow. All lift operators were very friendly! Park was clean and tidy. Lodge had a wide variety of services. Only complaint is the the people in the gear rental department weren't that friendly. They really need to be more cheerful down there! Other than that, great time at the mountains.

Lake Louise is our go to ski hill. Its 2 hours from Cowtown but worth the drive. Top of the World Chair was not running so we did not get up Summit, but had a very fun day anyway. A foot of Pow at the top of Eagle Flight was outstanding. DM

Lake Louise is a fantastic picturesque ski resort. Good lift system, plenty of tree lined runs, groomed to perfection. Panoramic views in every direction. Great restaurant area at the base for a coffee and a snack, and an outdoor bar and bbq at the finish of the day with a fire pit too. Enjoy your day and hope you have as much fun as me! PS great resort for beginners and intermediates!

Love it

Amazing place, beautiful views but as a beginner skier I found it a bit difficult in places. There are some steep sections as part of the standard green runs. I found Sunshine village easier as a beginner but lake Louise ski resort is definitely worth visiting at least once

I love this ski resort I am a novice skier starting late in life and this hill has everything you could ask for and more. The mountain has more runs than you could even want and is so big it can absorb a huge amount of people. .The lodge is great, loads of space to store your stuff, hot water for tea, plenty of seating.

Amazing steep alpine terrain in the back bowls and a great place for beginners or park rats on the front side. So much to explore there's never an end to new discoveries! Love skiing at Lake Louise

Nice ski resort in the Canadian Rockies

Nice ski resort in the Canadian Rockies

Part of the Big3 (Sunshine Village, Lake Louise and Mt Norguay), Lake Louise ski resort is perhaps the best known for hosting the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.

Nestled in the glorious Canadian Rockies, this resort offers 10 lifts, over 130 runs, suitable for all skill levels.

The ski chalet offers free boot/bag storage racks as well as lockers for a fee. I was very impressed with the resort s effort to remain environmentally friendly: all packaging and utensils used in their restaurants were either re-usable or recyclable, even one time forks and knives were made of wood!

Facilities started to show signs of wear and tear, the gondola is rather dated compared with some other resorts in the region. The only way to get to the summit was via a t-bar rope tow, although my kids loved the rope tow I struggled so hard with it! A new chair lift would have been much better.

It was quite windy and icy on the day we visited, but the view at summit was incredible, worth every penny!

Very disappointed!! I have lived in Alberta for 12 years now and never saw this. My family was on vacation in BC for 10 days and really wanted to finally see this so called beautiful lake that I have never see. But turned out to be a nightmare. Got all the way to the top of the parking area just to be turned away because we had a trailer, which I could understand but there was nothing that said we couldn't go up that far with a trailer and at the same time had a dog with cancer which we had wanted pictures with him before he left us and the only option we were givin when we were finally able to ask someone was so back down to the bottom and wait for the shuttle and that they may or may not allow our dog to come along with us.

Absolutely great snow here!! Not only that but the resort is huge! Lake Louise ski resort has skiing and snowboarding runs available in the front and backside of the mountain with a large variety of green, blue, and black runs. Depending on the run, you might be in packed and groomed snow, loose pack snow, bumps, steep hills and turns, you name it! The runs are wide with plenty of room for you to practice, especially important for beginners. The gondolas are very fast while the chair lifts are (for good reason) a tad slower. The bunny/learner hills are also plenty wide and long, great for learning and practicing. Lake Louise ski resort also has some massive jumps for the experts and inner tubing runs for those who aren't into skiing or snowboarding. Lots of parking available though it can fill up quickly.

We enjoyed a very nice breakfast buffet prior to taking the ski lift. You have a choice of open seat or enclosed gondola. The ride was very smooth and the views from the top are fantastic.
