Very disappointed, will not be back for awhile. Ma...
Very disappointed, will not be back for awhile. Maybe it is because they just open? Hopping that in time it will be better.

Party of 8 of us walked out last night due to the waitress telling us that half of our order was sitting under heat lamps while the other was being prepared. An hour after we ordered... Horrible service.. will not be back.
Wonderful dining experience!!!! The meal and wine were delicious overlooking the Sassafras River and Marina on a beautiful day. We had lunch, served by a friendly and attentive waitress.
This restaurant has great food! The people are great and the ambiance is wonderful. The Sunset's over the deck are beautiful. I have been going here for over 10 years and its always great!
So happy to be at the Kitty Knight House again! They always have the best hospitality and friendly service. Definitely a local treasure! Owner always makes you feel welcome. Best place to enjoy great food, music and fantastic views. Was there with my daughters last night, where they celebrated the release from quarantine in a big way. Thank you to Kitty Knight House! We will be there every weekend through November
Great evening at the newest rendition of the Kitty. Interesting, upscale menu for foodies and nonfoodies alike. Friendly, efficient and genuine staff. This particular evening was perfect weather on the deck with live music.
Had Valentines Day dinner there and was disappointed. Food was ok, but you don't get much for what you pay for. Service was friendly, but they were greatly overwhelmed. The place was packed and we had to wait 25 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order. Waited almost another 30 minutes for apps to show up. Then another 30 for entrees. It took almost 3 hours to get through a basic 4 course, nothing special meal. Might try them again in the summer just to give them another chance.
It took over an hour for our server to realize that she had us as a table. We complained to the hostess and she didn't know what she was doing or who was serving us either. My father in law received the wrong beer. There was no apology from the server when she did arrive. The food was okay. Very disappointed in the service.
The reopened Kitty Knight is a must do! Frosty drinks and delicious food on a deck with unbeatable views.
Amazing views, very friendly staff and the food is great.
The band was nice. Food was poor. Service mediocre. Probably won't go again, unless just for the band and a few drinks
Great visit & dinner at Kitty Knight House, food & service excellent! We have not been 2 Kitty Knight 4 years! Brought new friends who have never been there before! They were impressed! Great view, outside food & Drinks area!
Over all wonderful experience! Will return again in the Spring!
The Tavern is a great place to stop for cold drinks, great food, and fast service. Love Kitty Knight House! Brunch is awesome too!
Takes forever to get served. On a price benefit basis to pricy for value View is incredible. Restaurant closed
Under new management and the staff is friendly and the drinks are flowing. They are getting the menu together I believe to have a fully functional restaurant in the near future. They have live entertainment on the deck overlooking the Georgetown Yacht Basin. Romantic and not too far from home. Try it, I guarantee you will enjoy! Check out the pictures for sale inside a good friend of mine took them, he really has an eye for beauty. JH Photography.
I was there with my daughter s wedding party and I want to begin by saying that the owner was very gracious, bringing us complimentary champagne. However I have to say that I was appalled at the food that I ordered. I wanted light dining, so I ordered the watermelon crudo ($10 on the menu) with the grilled shrimp add-on ($9 on the menu). What came out, for $19, was just unbelievable. Had I been there under other circumstances, it would have been sent back. The crudo amounted to a plate of drink garnishes. There were 3 small watermelon cubes, 2 wafer-thin slices of pineapple, soggy blueberries, and a sprinkling of wilted arugula. The 5 grilled shrimp were over cooked. I will not be back.
Beautiful sunset, a relaxed atmosphere and casual dining made for a lovely evening.
Food was very good,Service was fine ,drinks were very good .Price very reasonable. Enjoyed the evening.
Nice dinner, crab cakes cooked to perfection. Will return again!
tonight wasn't good, but they tried their best to accommodate us, kitchen was under staffed.
new outdoor bar is located in terrible location, can't enjoy the live music, stage is behind the bar and dance floor is where the kitchen and bar staff have to travel back and forth to the kitchen.
Extremely expensive. We went went another couple. Two plates came out about 10 minutes before the others. Theirs chilled while we waited. To of us ordered the Tavern Burger ($14.00). The burgers came our differently... One was basically a cheese burger... The other was what was described on the menu. Both were so rare they we had to send back. One came back acceptable the other was just as rare, so I sent it back again. By this time everyone was about done eating... So I chose not to get anything else.
Being a local and loving this place for over 40 years, it was a very disappointing experience.
Overall atmosphere and food & drinks were good. Our server was absolutely awful. Another server and food delivery girl took care of us and were really kind. Our actual server did legitimately nothing other than take our order and bring our check. A bit frustrating given the amount of money and time we spent there. Hope the other server and food runner enjoyed the tip! :)
Good distancing and staff had face masks. Good food and service. Can't beat the view.
Great atmosphere with friendly service. The food was excellent, although limited, but that's because they are using food trucks until the kitchen opens. A little pricey, but worth it for the taste. we'll be going back and look forward to what the new owner can bring to the area.
Food an atmosphere was great! A must place to go if in George Town.
Nice place. A bit noisy, but great food and service. Very busy so make reservations.
Went for lunch. I didn't realize their kitchen isn't open yet. They have food trucks come prepare the food. I was disappointed.
I made a reservation here with my wife for our anniversary dinner last Saturday, which was our first time eating here.
Atmosphere Outstanding! The views from the deck were amazing (we actually never saw the inside). There was live music, but it was not too loud and perfectly suited. A very cool place to eat.
Food Very good. What we ordered came out great. My only complaint is the menu seemed maybe a bit basic/limited for what I thought might be a higher-end restaurant, and there also weren t any specials (that we were made aware of).
Service HORRIBLE. 15 minutes after being seated, I actually had to go to the hostess stand to tell them we hadn t been seen yet, and it still took another 5 minutes! We didn t have drinks until 30 minutes after sitting down. Our waitress was slow and inattentive the entire time. I only ended up getting one drink because of this, and it again took about 30 minutes to ask for and pay the bill. This was embarrassing to me since I picked out the place, and it ruined our experience.
Overall it was a shame about the service, since I think we may have just had bad luck with our particular waitress. We might be willing to try it again, but not anytime soon.
Same old same. Big sign advertising gift cards. But didn't have any available. Service hasn't changed
Excellent meal with very attentive and 0ersonsble staff. Ask for Jessica she's awesome.
Very friendly staff. Nice sunset views. Food is OK. They are probably still working at adapting.
Slow service. Amazing setting! Good bar tender. Great scallops. Mahi mahi cooked to death.
The mussels were bad. They smelled awful and were full of dirt. My meal was crab cakes, risotto and asparagus. The risotto was actually hard, dry rice and the asparagus was small and over cooked making it impossible to eat. The crab cakes were great except the excessive amount of shells baked in. My husband had a pasta meal with scallops and shrimp and had no complaints.
This used to be a historic beautiful place..bed n breakfast..wish it would come back
The setting is beautiful overlooking the marina. The service was excellent. The food and drinks, however, really came up short, especially given the prices.
Just reopened under new management, only the deck is opened for summer. Cheese steak tots were great, folks next to is liked the burgers. Great atmosphere and staff.
You will not find a better sunset! Good drinks! Love the variety of the menu and the servers are so kind and quick!
Me and my family went their for brunch so the options were obviously breakfast and lunch. My food was very good as was the rest of my families.
The area were they serve breakfast is very small and there was an event in another part of the building, so our waiter would disapear for fairly large chunks of time.
All in all it was a good place to grab breakfast especially when you consider how few reasturants are in the area.
It was a nice atmosphere. Very disappointed with my entree. I had scallops and for $24 I got 3 scallops over Lima beans and corn. Was still hungry after dinner.
So happy that Kitty Knight is open again! We had truly missed dinners here on the deck. We live about an hour and a half away, but we are so happy that we will be making the trip back, repeatedly like we used to. We love the way the place has been upgraded, but maintained everything that makes it fabulous. I had the special that was a combination of BLT flavors on pasta, on lettuce, topped with salmon. OUTSTANDING! My husband opted for a burger and said it was perfect! Dessert? Yes! Creme brulee, a perfect end to a perfect evening. Our server, Daulton, never missed a beat! His drink and dinner recommendations were spot on! Can hardly wait to go back!
The atmosphere was amazing, the food took forever to get to us ,but other than that it was great, glad they reopened the kitty knight house.
So happy to see her open again!! Great new owner, great staff!! Thanks for hosting the Bayheads Brewing Company tap takeover!!
My salad (spinach, beets and figs) and my friend's seafood meal (scallops, mussels and clams in a broth) were delicious! Our server Erin was very accommodating. The only negative were the flies. During drinks (refreshing grapefruit crush) the flies were acceptable but annoying when dinner arrived. Despite the flies, we'll definitely be back!
It's a nice historical venue, they have a well-rounded sleeping accommodations, food, beverage, and even live music.
It is so nice to be able to visit the kitty Knight house again. Great service, burgers and cold beer. What is not love?
Ordered rib eye steak , at $30.00 could hardly eat it. The manager came over and. Stated your eating it.
Offered a free desert.
Went with my niece whose church had an annual event there. Quant, charming dinning area. Servers were spot on. The crab cakes were among the best I've had!
Amazing place. The steak was FANTASTIC. Great atmosphere and service. This was our first time here but will definitely be back.
We enjoy the Kitty. Have seen many adaptations. Sue Ann Hall is doing a wonderful job creating this renewed venue. We love to support the local businesses in our community!
The "Berry Salad" was fabulous, and filling. The burger on the "specials" menu is different from the burger on the regular menu. Be careful,as you Will be charged for the 16$ Pub burger instead of the $12.00Tavern burger price. One you pick the toppings, the other is a burger with a lot of other meats- on the menu- "grinder meats" ----be specific.& make sure the server got the right item... it REALLY is a good burger....---at a fillet price. The flies were terrible. The service was fine.Because of the flies and that burger thing its a 3 .
Worth it for a great cocktail.
Worth it for that berry salad.
Wear repellent.
Great food and really nice people. The view is spectacular.
The only bad things were short happy hour, and the music was rotten the night I was there
Attended the soft opening a couple of days ago. Everything was great, especially the food and the service was wonderful. Considering it was their first day, it all went well! We met Sueann the owner. Although, they weren't quite ready for overnight guests in the inn, she accommodated us with a fabulous room. We decided to stay for three nights! We're being treated like family. We're having a great time and we'll be back again.
We had dinner in the tavern. I had the short rib stew (as well as two others) and the flavors of the short ribs and vegetables in the broth were delightful. Also had a lemon tart dessert which was delicious. Kudos to the chef!
We enjoyed our banquet luncheon. Food and service was wonderful!
Had a good meal Saturday lunch only complaint it took to long for the food to be served. They where not busy but food was good
Meal took a while, but excellent food, service, and atmosphere! If only they offered nachos every day...
Wonderful time at the outdoor bar. Enjoyes the sunset.
Stopped in for brunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Tavern ham & brie on a pretzel roll was delicious as was the quiche and avocado toast. Bloody Mary's were really good, service was on point. The menu is well thought out with a variety of offerings to please virtually anyone. Atmosphere is second to none, it is warm, inviting, and beautifully appointed. Glad to see new management is in place and giving this gem the treatment it deserves.
This place with new ownership which is getting better and better by the day
Beautiful place but I don't think they were ready to be open. They tried their best. I still had a good time. The brick oven pizza from the food truck was very good although expensive.
Expensive food as you are paying for the atmosphere!!
Stopped in for a drink & to check out the menu under their new management. Same charming atmosphere. The person sitting next to us at the bar had the burger with bacon jam & carmelized onions - looked delicious. Went back the next day, which was a Sun. I like the brunch menu. We shared the Tavern burger & onion soup. Both delicious. We will return.
Nice views, everyone liked their meals, friendly staff but don't expect internet access!
Service was very good. Food came out fairly quickly. It all looked very nice but everyone in our 6 person group had cold food. It was Sunday brunch and not packed, should have been hot. I'll still try it again though.
Food was not that good, over priced , but view is priceless, and icecream parlor nice.
A beautiful place. The tavern inside has a working fireplace, and a warm atmosphere. The wait staff is friendly and the service was great. Now the menu is a of average size and variety for a maryland restaurant, but there is one thing that separates them from a traditional maryland restaurant l, that's the crab cake. Its awful! It was small, undercooked, pan fried, not broiled. It had to much filler, and had chives and things mixed in with it, and to top it off it was smothered in some sort of spicy mustard. Not a Maryland crab cake! I'm sure it be fine for Delaware or PA. My wife's meal was great and the dessert was really good. Go there and enjoy yourself, just dont get the crab cake.
We have eaten indoors before and love their dining room. This time we had a very nice dinner on the deck for the last hour of sunshine and had a nice sunset along with a nice dinner. Great service with all involved. Seating to our request, wait staff quick to get drinks, Soup and dinner order taken fairly quickly (as we talked and drank and relaxed). Our assigned wait staff checked in for drink refills, took away what wasn't needed, and got the hot food out in good time. Panko crusted oysters, crab soup, rock fish, crab cake, and burgers for four were all good. High quality food and drinks at roughly $110 with tip extra. I will return.
Beautiful location. Great crab cakes. We will definitely go again
Delicious French onion soup but the Charcuterie platter seemed to be days old with dusty wilting grapes, messy stuffed fig, ice cold pieces of cheese and sausage that seemed "old". Seemed to have been made days before and put in the fridge and hauled out when ordered. Very disappointing as we went because I had just seen a great review. Others ate penne vodka and duck and were satisfied if not blown away by their entrees.
Solid menu, decent service. View is spectacular from the deck!
Sat outside, had great view of the harbor. Food was outstanding.
