This is a really neat place to get food and anything related to kitchen use. Think of this place as a much more upscale version of Quincy Market. Nothing here is cheap, but you get what you pay for. The selection of food and vendors are upscale. The foods are mostly farm to table and locally produced so everything is great quality. I got a gourmet doughnut from Union Square donuts and the coffee from George Howell is supposed to be really good too. If you don't mind paying extra, it's worth the good food. It's even fun just to walk around and see what's set up here even if you don't buy anything.

Lovely marketplace to visit for a range of items - from chocolate to flowers, nuts, honey, coffee, pastries or even meat and produce. Its quite pricey to be in here, but the space is nice and gives off an up scale farmers market vibe. Really like visiting here.

I really like Boston Public Market, and it keeps getting better over time:

What I Love:
* The variety of vendors makes it easy for everyone in your group to find something they like.
* The open air feel. It's inviting and bustling at the same time, giving it a nice energy while not feeling overwhelming.
*Bon Me is reliable, delicious, and has generous portions.
*Boston Pastrami makes some of the best pastrami in the area. I like it better than Mamaleh' s
*Vikki Lee's is an allergy free bakery that actually tastes delicious. The chocolate chip cookie is amazing. Also cool that it was started by a high school kid :)
*They have Blacker's bakery Challah! Forget Cheryl Ann. This is the best Challah in the Boston area.

What still need to get better:
*There still isn't enough seating, and the venue still feels a bit cramped.
*Not enough trash cans, and those they have are not well marked (recycling or trash???).
*Some of the vendors are hit or miss (e.g., bagels were just ok, Taza isn't the best chocolate around, and I'm not impressed by union sq donuts.)

I haven't tried many of the spots. The fish guys are good. Looking forward to trying their fish and chips. Also need to try noodle lab. I haven't been to any of the educational or community events in the Kitchen, but I love the concept!

A lot of cool shops grouped together, and a lot of very good food. This was the perfect place to come on a rainy day in Boston. While everything looked appealing, our favorites were the Beantown Pastrami stall and Q's Nuts. Take a walk through - you'll definitely find at least one thing that you like.

Who here remembers when the public market was outside, very crowded, was full of music and artists, was very diverse, and by the end of the day had vegetable trash strewn everywhere like confetti? I'll give this place props for continuing the need for a public market, but where, oh where is the life the area had at one time? This four-enclosed-walls/flowers of romance version is so proper and sedated, you'll swear you hear the emergency broadcast system soundtrack playing inside your head.

Plus you kinda have to look for places to spend your money because it doesn't seem to offer many of the different things other East coast city markets have. Or have the character and excitement they have. It's missing that thing... that oxygenated blood thing.

As much as I meh you, Boston Public Market, I'll be back -mainly for your mushroom vendors. But if you want more than 3 stars you gotta get that stick out of your womp womp.

Quaint little market in the center of Boston with interesting foods options, an artisanal honey shop, pastrami and middle eastern food. The gyozas at the Asian shop were incredibly good as were the shakalatkes at the middle eastern stall. Also had a small shop with fresh produce.

Just a few minutes north of Faneuil Markets is the Boston Public Market which is a great foodie stop for those eager to try to try organic and speciality foods and drinks during their trip to Boston.

We stopped by during our last trip to Boston and enjoyed the haddock chowder from the Boston Smoked Fish Co. and the lovely freshly made hot chocolate drinks from the Taza Chocolate bar. Both were very good food and drinks, worthy of returns and recommendation for fellow travellers.

In addition to the very good food and drinks, really enjoyed seeing the giant pumpkins on display in the market as well. The sign said they weigh over 1000 pounds. Not sure if this is true but these were huge specimens, much larger than either of us (see pictures). Hopefully these mammoth pumpkins will be around for visitors to enjoy for a while this autumn.

We would probably make regular visits to the Boston Public Market if we had something similar where we lived. This seemed like a great location for those seeking nicer foods to take home and for quick lunch bites to eat.

Great spot to enjoy some food without the massive tourist crowds of Quincy Market. Really good ice cream from Crescent Diary with huge portions (got the smallest size which was still huge!). Saw they had noodles, donuts, popovers, bagels, meats, fruits, vegetables, etc. Bit pricey: definitely upscale and trendy.

This isn't a "public market" at all, as can be found in DC or other cities. It is a fancy, expensive boutique venue. I don't mind any of the vendors, and I understand what they're selling. I just wish so much that Boston had a real public market with normal prices for regular folk.

Great place to get fresh food and to go get something that s not from your typical grocery store! Had a lot of options to choose from in every food category. From seafood to pastries and etc... it was all there! Great prices and great people. Definitely go check it out!

The Boston Public market is a great place to buy local produce and proteins. Today I bought Cape scallops at Red s Best, they are hard to get. The scallops are super fresh and most times they can be eaten as sashimi. My other favorite place is Inna s kitchen where they have a lot of healthy selections for lunch or dinner. They also have a great selection of frozen soups to take home.

This is one of the best indoor food markets that I've been to in my entire life! Lots of food vendors and cool produce and products as well. However, the products are expensive but fresh too!

What a fun place!

What a fun place!
There are lots of interesting and unusual shops here. A place that only makes donuts (but what donuts! ) A shop that only sells varieties of honey.
Unique candles? Special candy? Seasonal stuff that you won't find anywhere else? Great restaurants? This is the place for you.
Things can be a little pricey, but the quality is top notch.
