The keys is a nice gastro pub, it is a little isolated and so driving in and out is needed, but the parking is ample.

The food is of a good quality, though the portion could have been a little bigger. The drink selection could also be a little more inspired... However they did a great mulled wine over the Christmas period.

The staff were very friendly and helped on all fronts. The atmosphere were chilled and it was easy to chat inside.

went in today for a burger 1/4 pounder , the burger meat itself was ridicously small ,, sat in the middle of a dry bun, the burger was about 2inches round sat in the middle of a 5inch round bun, so ended up eating dry bread till i got to the meat,
pulled the waiter about it who just said its shrunk when it was being cooked and we now use bigger buns.
crap excuse its a bit like getting a single crisp between 2 slices of bread and calling it a crisp sandwich ,,
wont be going back there again ,, theives

This, recently refurbished, pub/restaurant is a very pleasant, clean, well decorated establishment with good car parking, very good, efficient staff and good food. They have a good menu and, daily specials at reasonable prices. Besides the indoor restaurant, there are outside dining facilities available. Recommended.

We were really disappointed by our visit here.

We were really disappointed by our visit here.
Cheese missing off the children's burgers despite having to pay extra for it but when we brought this to their attention, we were given a tiny pot of cheese...and expected to put it on own own burgers. The cheese obviously never melted when it was finally put on the burgers.
The children's corn on the cob was stone cold and full of water...like it had been sat in a pan for a while.
I had the lamb pie but this was such a disappointment...hardly any lamb or vegetables and a watery tasteless gravy.
I was also given a measly 8 chips...worse still, they were the frozen variety rather than the 'triple-cooked' that were advertised on the menu.
It would have been a bit more forgivable if it was really busy but it wasn't.

Average food, could have been better, not as ordered, some not hot, and considering the small portions, a bit pricey. We did complain and the manager reduced the bill, knocked off the price of one meal

popped in randomly on a week night. amazing food. I would say the food outweighs its reasonable price. it was amazingly presented in a place where the service was friendly and professional. when you wait for your food and you see other people's choices come past and it excites you. I think that's a good sign.

After being told the restaurant had been closed for 9 weeks for remodel, and, perhaps more importantly the powers that be opted to understaff it, we decided to cut our wait staff some slack for the delay between courses. After all, it was not our delightful server Gem s fault that it took a tad too long for the courses to come out. She, as well as the rest of the staff we encountered, were wonderful, attentive and a pure joy to meet. Moreover, the food was excellent, fresh and well seasoned. Finally, the manager went to great lengths to accommodate our travel member with physical limitations to make sure he had access to a disabled restroom. All in all, a wonderful dining adventure.

Stopped for an afternoon snack and drink, which we throughly enjoyed so much we came back for tea. Staff really friendly food excellent. Very nice interior and outside very comfortable, outside tables kept clean and tidy and not forgotten about

We were advised only half the (small) menu was available and a 30 minute wait, we accepted that without problem. We ordered smoked salmon and home cured beetroot for our 3 starters....4 tiny pieces of beetroot cut wafer thin arrived, when I asked the waitress if they had also run out of beetroot she honestly replied 'yes'. My main course of fish and chips was very undercooked as was the dumplings on the chicken stew that my friend ordered.
We were a party if 3_celebrating my friends birthday.
The wait and shortened menu were not a problem. The quality if the food served was. I have eaten and enjoyed the Keys many times but felt massively let down and quite honestly embarrassed on thus occasion as the meal was a birthday treat for a valued friend.

We we're extremely disappointed last time we went. And expect more for the amount you pay. We used to come alot and recommended it to everyone. ...Unfortunately can't say we would now. Shame as the food used to be so good!

Poor Sunday Lunch the beef was as tough as old boots. The veg arrived cold and the gravy was like watery dish water! I ve never seen cauliflower cheese arrive in what looked like milk either??? Very disappointing after a 40 minute wait!!! YUK!!!!!
