I very much enjoyed vocalist Gregory Porter accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jacomo Bairos ... it was such a treat. I haven't been to the Kennedy Center in ages and am so glad I went. What a lovely evening of music ~

Before school started, the teachers already reserved a spot for our grade then when school started the Kennedy Center said there were no more seats avaliable but we already confirmed with them that we were going to the theathre, then they said there was enough seats for us a week before the trip so the teachers handed out the permission slip and we the students turned them in and were excited then the day before the trip the kennedy center cancelled on us and we couldn t go, and all the students were very upset. Hope you have a better visit!!

Kennedy Center performances are excellent, across the board. My review is something more aesthetic, sorry. The wife and I went to see CATS last night, beautiful evening with perfect weather. A little early, we saw the sign for roof and bar on the roof and thought we'd take advantage of it. Expecting a bar on the terrace, instead we found this tiny little bar attached to the interior restaurant. The restaurant is enormous, like tables set up in an aircraft hanger. No ambiance whatsoever and fixtures that look like they're from the seventies. Gave the bartender our order for the terrace, he said they'd have to be in plastic cups. They're kidding right?! We took our plastic cups onto the terrace...tens of thousands of feet of bare white marble terrace with nothing but a couple of old picnic tables. DC's premier viewing location in any direction you choose, completely ignored. What a total disappointment. My wife and I both thought out loud, why in the heck would they not put an outside dining area here, or outside bar, or both? Not only would it make it more appealing and take advantage of this great viewing platform, they could actually run a highly successful restaurant and draw others to the facility besides just show attendees. The Board of Directors and President need some serious business consultants and design input ... what a shame, such a wasted venue.

This is a very special place to visit if the cultural arts interest you. Lots of cool gifts from other countries and interesting tidbits supplied by the guide. Don't forget to spend some time on the roof...beautiful views of the city and river!

It was a gorgeous building for a spectacular event. We would like to applaud one of the ushers Andrea for giving us such superb service helping us manage our way back to our car with our handicapped son who was in a wheelchair .... she added so much to our experience.

The building is absolutely beautiful, it is impressive in it's architect and the terrace offers an amazing view of DC. The one performance we saw (Shear Madness) was alot of fun and had some great bits. When I come back to DC , I will also be returning to the JFK center for the performing arts.

Fantastic venue for the arts. Filled with history and an air of magic. Thoroughly enjoyed our night there listening to the NOS. Seats were comfortable and there isn't a bad seat in the house.

The building is living history!!! I've been inside and around this building more times than I can count. I've attented a few free performances at the Millennium Stage, which were all great!!! Last weekend marked the first time I paid to see a show inside this great arts center!!! I attended Queen Latifah's performance in the Concert Hall, which is big and beautiful!!! Love the Chandeliers and the Famous Organ...

The Kennedy Center is easily one of the premier arts and performance spaces in the country. Aside from the lovely view of the Potomac and Georgetown, it also boasts multiple halls and theaters, ample event space, and a great rooftop terrace.

Additionally, the daily free performances at the Millennium Stage distinguish the Kennedy Center from every other space in the district.
