Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Customer service ...
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Customer service is some of the best I've experienced.
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Customer service is some of the best I've experienced.
The Ivy Hotel is nothing short of incredible. The personalized, intimate service. The friendly staff. The wonderful house and rooms. The amenities (car service, spa, wet bar, tea hours, etc). The food, which was amazing, would require a separate post. This place is a must visit and, for us, is going to be a staple for years to come. We just left today and already can t wait to get back.
Thank you, Ivy Hotel! It was a phenomenal trip.
This propoerty is impecably appointed and managed. No detail was missed!
Words don't really help to describe the decadence and richness of the hotel. So I won't. Get here. Do it. Stat.
The pandemic has had all of us in our homes for safety, and has taken away travel for the moment. Each year my husband and I travel for our birth-a-versary (birthday and anniversary are close in date so we celebrate in one swoop). Since travel is out of the question, we decided to treat ourselves to the ultimate experience. My mentor said the opulence of the hotel is what everyone should experience so we decided to take a local birth-a-versary trip. We were not disappointed! From the valet, check-in, high tea, our beautiful quarters and tranquility in the midst of Baltimore City gave us the restoration our souls/ bodies needed in the midst of the worlds uncertainty. I am certain we will visit again.
The Ivy is our home in Baltimore. We have stayed at the IVY many times and each time it gets a little better. It is hard to improve on the IVY at all, but the staff seems to find a way! We would not think of staying anywhere else in Baltimore.
My wife and I had very high expectations given the price. Amazingly, our expectations were exceeded. The hotel is a "diamond in the rough" for sure. We loved the common rooms downstairs. Wish we had more time to just hang out down there. The room was perfect. But, the service was amazing. Everyone knew us by name and made us feel special. The breakfast was fantastic. And, my wife's massage was one of the best she's ever had. Can't recommend it enough. If the price was a bit lower, we'd make time for a staycation there more often.
This was our first time staying here and we had an amazing time. We will most certainly recommend this to our friends and come here again.
This is an oasis in the City of Baltimore. The level of service and attention to detail ensures an amazing stay. We certainly felt like we were an extended part of the Ivy family. Thank you.
The most beautiful hotel in Baltimore. They have soaking tubs!!! The dinning areas are absolutely astounding.
Near perfection and all of the staff could not have been more pleasant.
This is by far, one of the nicest stays we've experienced in a hotel. Mount Vernon is such a wonderful part of Baltimore and we loved exploring it. The hotel feels like a romantic step back in time, with so much attention in the details of this wonderful old building. We found the staff to be delightful and helpful, answering questions about cool places to explore during our stay. The Room was beautiful with a spectacular bed. The Restaurant is a place where food meets art and worthy any special occasion or just a cocktail and, by far my favorite...the dessert.
I planned a surprise trip for the Mr during the weekend of 9/29. We arrived that Saturday and he thought that we were JUST there for tea. We entered and were whisked up stairs. We enjoyed the environment and aesthetics and were told all about the teas (and smelled each of them). We enjoyed our teas and the CUSTOM drink (each of the employees are responsible for creating a drink - we each had TWO of them - thanks for the GREAT drink Donald). All of the employees were VERY friendly and my beau is very chatty. It seems that some of the employees missed the morning meeting and it was as if my surprise was going to be given away, but that never occurred. After our tea, Grace took us on a tour of the building. The history was AMAZING! Our last stop was our room - it was hilarious as the Mr whispered someone's stuff is in this room. Umm sir, that's our stuff. We stayed in room 13. I also had a surprise couples massage scheduled for us and that too was GREAT. We didn't do dinner at Magdalena, but we did THOROUGHLY enjoy breakfast on Sunday. I can't say enough KIND and thoughtful things about our short stay. From the small gestures of kindness to the "living in the effin lap of luxury" feels. I am hoping that the Mr can take a note from my book and surprise me with another (LONGER) stay at The Ivy. A small note.. those curry NUTS are amazing - we were trying to figure out how to take the nuts from our room, but we didn't have a baggy :(
The guys at Hotel Brexton are fantasy. They put up with my family pretty much taking over the hotel for my wedding in October and they were fantastic. They dealt with the unneeded requests my family have them with a poise and patience that I don't have. My family is not easy, and they handled them like it was nothing. I love these guys. Not to mention the hotel is beautiful, and surprisingly up to date and modern. Lovely place, would 100% stay again even though I live in the city.
A totally and incredibly unbelievable experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable of the property and its history and overwhelmingly accommodating! I was quite surprised to be remembered from my initial visit. The Ivy defies adequate description, you must experience it to believe it!
Delightful experience from start to finish. Every detail is carefully curated to ensure that you are taken care of
The hotel staff were all so welcoming. From Josh and James in concierge to the wonderful people in the restaurant. My room was divine. I loved the decor and the large soaking tub. Everything was so comfortable. The bed, the heated floors in the bathroom, and the loungers. One of my favorites was the delectable chocolate left on my bed after each turn down. I will surely be back again to enjoy the beautiful room and hospitable staff. I really appreciated the birthday card with the hand written note too!
I m writing this review from the car, before leaving The Ivy. I was compelled to immediately share how amazing the staff had been and quality of service they provide. Highly recommend this nugget or history.
It was one of the best hotel l had stayed so far. I felt safe and welcomed.
Not even out the door and compelled to declare the Ivy the most personalized service ever experienced. Akin to staying at your friend s mansion. If you have a friend with a mansion and servants that iron the tablecloths after each seating right on the table, remember your name, check on your every need and appear to be happy you ve come for a visit. If you have a reason to stay in Baltimore you have a reason to treat yourself to the Ivy. Tell James hello.
Service is excellent, Magdalena was absolutely lovely and worth the visit. Reservations advisable
I celebrated my wedding anniversary at this hotel the staff was amazing and the food was tasty!!!
April Wilson
Dinner was nice but not great. Wait staff was excellent.
The ivy hotel is one of the best hotels that I ve been to. Very personable, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Something that I feel like everyone should enjoy is the outstanding customer service. The employees are helpful and amazing. The environment is very private, peaceful and relaxing...great for a romantic getaway, a family stay, or a one night business trip. The Magdalina restaurant is located right downstairs and the food is amazing. It practically just melts in your mouth. The staff is great and helpful and very easy to get along with. It s a little pricey but worth every Penny. The spa give you the most amazing best feeling you well ever have in your life. It will keep you wondering how can I get that back! If you haven t tried that Ivy hotel, I think you should. It will be worth the money, your time and energy. I hope that you all enjoy the Experience just as much as I did.
Beautiful hotel with the friendliest staff. Impressive attention to detail. Just a wonderful escape in the city. Afternoon tea, cocktails by the fire pit, breakfast in Magdalena. Too many great things to mention, all top notch. We love it here!
Fantastic hotel, staff was extremely attentive and always around if anything was required. One of the best stays I've ever had at a hotel.
Staying at the Ivy is Heaven and the rooms are beautiful, love the wine and cheese in room, the tea, the dinner, the stunning breakfast, the beautiful courtyard, the gracious and attentive staff, it is so very soothing and relaxing to be at the Ivy
Raquel & Alishia. The Spa at tge Ivy, is TRULY an EXTRAordinary experience. I treated myself as a 61st birthday present. It was Worth EVERY PENNEY! Next year, I'll save up, and stay at the Hotel as well. It so Amazing. I am Forever spoiled. No other spa could possibly compare.
Never realized how awesome this hotel could be until I visited this place! Courteous staff and amazing hospitality.
Beautiful building, amazingly restored, with absolutely top notch staff. The meal was very memorable, and the attentive service made for a wonderful evening.
The unequivocal jewel of Baltimore City! Exceptional service and beautiful environment!
Fantastic experience the rooftop bar is amazing and the bartender Ofelia made me the best old fashion! Definitely a place you d be happy you came by! Phenomenal view of Downtown Chicago!
Truly a great place to stay... friendly staff and beautiful hotel.
Magdalena was ok for the restaurant week. Ambiance is very nice. However the otherwise very good Australian bass was served with chili oil that made it mad spicy. The waitress neglected to mention it. That kind off spoiled otherwise great dinner
I went to the Spa at the Ivy Hotel for a birthday massage and facial, the "Perfect Petite Retreat". I was warmly welcomed upon arrival to the hotel and spent some time unwinding in the waiting area, overlooking the hotel's lush garden courtyard. Nicole gave me the best massage I have had, thoroughly working on my troublesome shoulders and leaving me blissfully pain free. Rain performed my facial, personalizing a treatment specifically for my skin, and provided an abundance of guidance and welcomed any future questions I may have.
This spa did not have facilities such as a sauna or a steam room, which is understandable given the size of the hotel. This is however wholly made up by the generous and professional service and the extra-mile the practitioners go to make this spa experience one of your best. I cannot wait to return and enthusiastically recommend the Spa at the Ivy to others.
Recently, I had my first treatment at The Spa at The Ivy Hotel. It was phenomenal. I went with an hour long custom facial with Aisha and she was very skilled and professional. My favorite perks were complimentary valet when you arrive to The Ivy and the view from the spa.
My stay at the Ivey's hotel was amazing! The room was spacious and elegant. The staff are wonderful, and the complentary breakfast was delicious. I can definitely see why the Ivey's is a five star hotel.
Never visited, but the outdoor staff is nice & professional!
AMAZING!! What an exceptional experience. You will not be disappointed.
My daughter & I had our very special last night together here before she got married...then my daughters Bridal Party got ready at the Ivy the day of her wedding. The service was 5 star++. Special thanks to Val & Anthony who made the girls feel like they were the only guests in the hotel. Suite 7 is absolutely the most gorgeous suite for a day of pampering for the girls. We had more than ample space for 8 of us, plus makeup and hair specialists to have fun and get ready for the big day.
My daughter and her groom enjoyed the suite one more night and they didn't want to leave. Thank you for all the special touches, memorable moments, and again the staff was like family by the time we left. Baltimore Weddings...this is the place to get the party started. Great photos ops too. All I can say is WOW & thank you!
My husband and I stayed for the first time at the Ivy two years ago. It was such a wonderful experience. We just returned from our second stay and miss it already. The staff is undeniably the best we have ever encountered. If you want to feel like royalty, plan a trip to the Ivy.
I planned a surprise 40th birthday dinner for my girlfriend (at the time). I came across the Ivy Hotel and Magdalena restaurant. I worked with Anna Connors Group Sales Manager at the Ivy Hotel to help plan the party. Anna worked with me throughout the entire process to make sure the dinner and our stay at the hotel went smoothly. This is just part of the exceptional service that we received at the Ivy Hotel. On the night of the dinner the ENTIRE staff at the Ivy Hotel and Magdalena provided above and beyond service to our family and friends by knowing our names, greeting everyone and just providing overall exquisite service! I need to also mention how flexible and accommodating the Ivy Hotel was with me as I had to reschedule the initial dinner due to my girlfriend (at the time) getting sick.
During the dinner Nicole, Anthony, and Ebony made our nights! They made sure that all of us had everything we needed and more! They were a joy to be around and made our experience at the Magdalena wonderful!
The entire staff knew about the second surprise of me planning to propose to my now fiance`. They kept this secret and even changed the subject of some of our friends and family who were wondering if I was planning to propose.
All in all my experience at the Ivy Hotel is something that I could and would never forget! I wish Google would allow 10 stars as you all deserve more than just the 5 stars I'm allowed to give.
We celebrated our anniversary here, and every single contact with staff was nothing short of perfection. It was like we were the guest they have been waiting for. Our stay was very intimate, personal and more than comfortable from every aspect. We can't wait for an excuse to return!
Super gorgeous hotel. Super expensive. But they offer tons of amenities if you need it. Just FYI u need to sell ur kidney to afford it
Every part of our entire stay was spectacular! Everyone is so nice and quick to take care of any need! The Hotel Chef is amazing as all food was exquisite! Magdalena's is a must for dinner! Stay here and enjoy the luxury
This is our second time visiting. The physical property is gorgeous and no detail has been left untouched. To say I felt cossetted by the staff would be an understatement. You are treated as if you are a visiting dignitary who is the only guest in the mansion. The bar has the highest quality spirits, the "barmoire" in the room is well stocked, your every request is quickly attended to and the answer is always yes. There is no better place in Baltimore to stay if you like luxury surroundings and five star service with a personal touch.
Had a first class wonderful breakfast at the Ivy! Loved it.
Comfortable, art chic (though not very diverse), quiet, good food, amenities and staff ... a wonderful stay with no worries
I had the pleasure of enjoying a 2-day stay at the Ivy for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! ONE WORD....STELLAR!!!! The Service IS UNLIKE ANY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! First, I was greeted by Grace who ushered me to a sitting area near the fireplace to enjoy a glass of champgne. My friend and I were then escotrted over to tea. Donnie was so welcoming and knowledgable about the teas. I then enjoyed ONE OF THE BEST MASSAGES EVER by Raquel at the Spa. I was then walked back to my room. Christina the concierge helped us find a place to dine since it was Christmas Eve. She had the hotel Suburban take us to the restaurant and it was great! During the whole stay my experience was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I could go on for pages!!! But I will wrap it up.
I do want to make sure I say thank-you to the staff that made our STAY SO AMAZING!!!
Nina, thank you for everything you did for us on Christmas!! You truly went above and beyond!!
Christina, thank you for taking care of us on Christmas eve with everything we needed.
Amber, thanks so much for making out breakfst experience so enjoyable.
Grace, you really set the the mood for our stay!!! AND IT WAS AMAZING!!!
Alonzo, thanks so much for the great car service and enjoyable conversation!
Donnie, I thoroughly enjoyed tea and the time we spent chatting with you!
Raquel, My massage was AHHH-MAZING!!! As was our girl chat with Aisha!
Joshua, thanks so much for taking care of extending our stay and for your kind warm service.
Michael (MJ)... where do I start?!?! You really made our trip great!!! Your service and warmth was so appreciated. We felt so welcomed like we talking to an old friend. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!! It was such a pleasure meeting you!!
Karen, thank you as well for helping getting everything taken care of and for being so helpful!!
Many thanks to, Simon, Cierra, Vaughn, Diona, Aisha, Simon, and Arnold for being so pleasant, kind and providing stellar service!!
Mr. & Mrs. Brown YOU HAVE DONE AN AMAZING JOB!!! YOUR TEAM TRULY GOT IT RIGHT!!!
We went to the Ivy Hotel to celebrate our 8th anniversary. It was one of the most wonderful hotel stays ever! From our arrival, they greeted us with Champagne and gave us a tour and history of the hotel. Then they upgraded our room to one of their best rooms. Every staff that greeted us that night told us Happy Anniversary. We had a card in our room and reservations were set. I have to admit that the evening/night staff were soooo much more friendly than the day staff. We loved everyone we encountered our 1st night there. Then in the morning, my husband went down and was followed by a staff member and asked who he was. And that same guy walked us to the elevator on our way out and just stood there. No small talk or nothing... it was very odd. We checked out over an hour before our time so it a as not like we hit our deadline. I would love to take half a star off for the morning staff to be honest but everyone else was great!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this charming, historic hotel. The food was tasty, the spa provided a relaxing experience, and the hotel staff members were attentive and amazing.
The Service here is 5 star!! Foid and Spa service is amazing!!! Every one is genuine and has mastered Customer Service!!
I loved this place so much that I am reviewing it everywhere I can. If you are looking for an amazing elegant and warm place to stay, look no further. Everything was amazing. I am relatively well traveled and have never experienced a More
My wife and I recently spent a night at the Ivy Hotel for her birthday. We cannot say enough and we are recommending it to everyone!! Our entire stay, from the moment we drove in front of the hotel, until we drove away, was perfect! We were greeted as if we had arrived at a very special and spectacular home for an overnight visit. Karen gave us a wonderful welcome and, with champagne in hand, described the buildings history, architectural details, the story of the magnificent renovation, as well as the coveted(and unique to Maryland) Relais and Chateau designation. Everyone we came in contact with took a special pride in their work and in their accomplishments, as well they should.
Our room(#9) was exquisite and allowed us to settle in and relax. A special meal at Magdalena completed our very special day. It didn't end there! The next morning, a world class breakfast awaited us! Then off to the in house spa for a relaxing 90 minute massages. What a tremendous stay we had! This is a very special hotel and one that should not be missed. It is truly a gem and one to be treasured! Thank you, everyone, at The Ivy!!
I couldn't see much of the hotel from the restaurant, as the lobby (sort of) is on the second floor. The restaurant was fantastic, and has a nice incense/perfume around. Seating is close together but comfortable. The menu was overpriced, but very good.
A wonderful place to stay for true relaxation. The personal touches embedded in the service, the can do nature of the staff, the outstanding food and the truly gorgeous property will lull you into a sense of true relaxation and comfort.
What aforgot gorgeous hotel!! The rooms are absolutely beautiful. If I checked into one of them, I would never want to leave. I was there for a book event, but would love to go back again.
The Spa at The Ivy was AMAZING! Damoni was my masseuse.....he was WONDERFUL! I received a deep tissue massage...PERFECT. Everyone, from the Valet to each person at the spa were beyond kind. This will be a part of my self-care routine.
We love The Ivy! We are always treated like family and it has become our home away from home. Thank you again to your amazing staff for making us feel extremely welcomed and meeting and exceeding our needs.
Seemed like a nice place. Only stopped in for work appointment
It has been one of the best places I have worked. I enjoy working here and I love what I do. The Spa at the Ivy is awesome!
I have never felt more cared for than while at The Ivy Spa and Hotel. I hope to return for every birthday!
Amazing beautiful hotel! Staff is super awesome and makes sure your stay is perfect.
Such a cute unique hotel... one of a kind!
Very nice experience. Wonderful atmosphere and great accommodations.
Perfect from start to finish. Beautiful room, #8, great service from tea to room service and especially breakfast! Lemon pancakes with blueberry compote, so good. Well stocked in room refrigerator, open self serve bar, great library- on and on! Pick your special occasion and get to the Ivy
Great location in walking distance to museums, fine dining, and the Inner Harbor. Beautiful guest rooms and common areas and the staff is FANTASTIC!
The Ivy Hotel is a vacation away from home without leaving Baltimore. We reminded ourselves that we did not have to travel by plane to go to a r a five star esort, we had one right here in the heart of our city! We were lavished with everything you could want. The services were outstanding and everyone greeted you by name. The Magdalena Restaurant served meals fitting for royalty and the Royalty was us. We had a wonderful time and plan to go again real soon.
THE MAID WALKED IN ON ME AND MY WIFE FALLING ASLEEP AND CRAWLED INTO BED AND ASKED FOR A BEDTIME STORY she was really cute
A 10 out of 5. Extraordinary service from arrival to exit. The Ivy in Baltimore sets a new high bar for hotels. The room (13) was outstanding and comfortable, the open bar and breakfast over the top wonderful. If visiting Bmore you must stay here!
Beautiful & Elegant Hotel
Simon the concierge was very helpful with accommodating me with my dinner plans. The Tea time was amazing & Thank you! Donnie for providing wonderful service. Our room exceeded my expectations, and we enjoyed the delectable assorted Fruit & Cheese tray. Outstanding room service turndown , and I would recommend The Ivy Hotel for any occasion and look forward to returning....
Favorite Hotel.. Consistently the Best Service & Experience every time..
My stay at the Ivy Hotel was an unforgettable amazing staycation. The staff was extremely friendly and so professional. The hotel is emaculate with a great history.
We had dinner at the Ivy before the Symphony and it was great! Great experience all around from atmosphere to service to taste.
Luxurious, with exceptional service and gorgeous rooms. Best hotel breakfast anywhere.
I took my husband to The Ivy Hotel in Baltimore for his 50th birthday. The entire experience was wonderful. Both James and Josh were extremely attentive to our every need and booked fabulous dinners for us each evening. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a special experience.
