This is a really charming place. Rooms are spread out over the hilltop property in several small buildings. Our room was spacious, well appointed and included a wood-burning fireplace. Service was uniformly great.

Had a great staycation this past weekend at the Inn. Felt safe and comfy in the very clean room. We brought our own pillows and washed hands a lot! Also enjoyed taking a stroll on the nice twisty grounds. Only complaint is no vegan options at restaurant. It s 2020!

The setting is beautiful. We sat on the patio looking down these into town and it was gorgeous. The food is good and the service is and always has been marginal. Don't understand why service is and always has been mediocre

This was a disappointing place. I paid a very high charge ($600+) for a chalet (room 110) that was advertised as being a quiet peaceful retreat and having a kitchen amongst other amenities. It was in fact a sparsely prepared room with minimal amenities. It did have a microwave and refrigerator but that is a long way from a kitchen. The TV channels were limited and the housekeeping very variable (few items were replaced unless asked for and so on). My main objection was the variable noise levels that were permitted by the management of the Inn. It is advertised as a retreat with a peaceful quiet atmosphere. Some nights that was the case. But on March 14 there was a party on the lawn close to our room that was ridiculously loud, with a bar that continued until close to midnight with attendees clearly inebriated and shrieking. On March 16 unsupervised (I have to believe) children shouted, screamed and played - OK, but then it continued well into the late evening. I eventually complained, twice, and they were moved. I don t have a problem with inebriated adults or noisy kids, but not next to a $600/night room that is claimed to be a quiet retreat. I will not be staying here again under any circumstance. Very poor value indeed.

Located just outside of San Diego, The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe offers a great escape from the city. The boutique hotel offers a luxurious setting for weekends, staycations, weddings and more. The Inn blends authenticity with the convenience and luxury amenities expected by discerning travelers. We can't wait to return.

A remnant of old Rancho Santa Fe you can talk to people who began visiting the Inn as far back as the 1960's. It still retains a lot of that old world class and elegance. A fun "date night" dinner with a gourmet menu. Try to seat on the patio in nice weather for the full experience.

Beautiful spot in the hills, great location to beaches, mountains, and city action. Staff was fantastic, friendly and Spanish style cottage was just what we were looking for. Would not hesitate making another stay here!

By far my favorite place to stay for our San Diego trips. Usually stay at the Westin Gas Lamp but this is our new go to spot. The resort complements Rancho Santa Fe very nicely. The elegance and ambiance make it perfect for a couples weekend get away. Sherri and the team's impeccable service are way above standards and blew away our expectations. Thank you again, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We look forwards to visiting again soon...

Dutch serves up the best whiskey cocktails ever and the fried chicken, meatloaf, and cheese burger dinners are excellent. Not cheap but not horribly expensive either and the Rancho Santa Fe atmosphere is hard to be beat.

Charming little hotel! We stayed there last summer. The cottages are most definitely the way to go, the bathroom and tub were nice and the large patio with private fireplace is lovely. My ONLY complaint is they could have better poolside service. Would be nice to be able to order drinks and food and not have to go get it. Maybe they ve changed that since we stayed. But would definitely return! The service and food was great!

Cozy five star In with amazing amenities and very comfy accommodations. Not cheap and definitely not a large chain type. Extremely helpful and fun staff. Rooms have available fireplaces although showers could use an upgrade. Popular spa and bar restaurant. Very close to the downtown area for walking and shopping.

Highly recommend! This was a great find! displays peaceful ambiance & beautiful decor with upscale dining. My husband and I went for a two day stay-cation for my birthday and we were pleasantly surprised to find the amount of care and attention we were given. From our visit to their spa to checking into our room. The spa offers a beautiful peaceful sitting area and the changing room / showers offered many amenities. After our message we were served champagne and a place to relax and pick from several complimentary natural bath salts and herbs to take home. At the dining area our bartender made sure we were taken care of and comp our drinks due to the delay in getting our room (which wasn't long), once we got our room key we were later delivered a complimentary bottle of champagne & hand rolled chocolates with a card wishing me a happy birthday. I could not have asked for better service. We will make this our new get away for several years to come. Thank you staff at The Inn we feel appreciated and welcomed.

Beatiful, quiet, upscale bungalow-style hotel. The rooms could use some updating and maintenance, but the location more than makes up for it. It's on the pricy end of the spectrum, as to be expected in this community.

If you want to get away for a quite weekend and have a nice meal and relax this is the place to go. The hotel is decorated with an English riding horse theme making it a warm and inviting place to relax. This was our second time visiting the hotel. The staff was pleasant and the service was great. Our room was quite with a fireplace and claw tub to relax in.

Picturesque. Beautiful building in a great location. Attended social event for drinks and appetizers at the restaurant. Didn't get the chance to try anything else on the menu. Great friendly staff.

We loved our stay at The Inn! My husband and I spent our anniversary there and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations, the romantic feel of the property, and the amazing food at Morada. We also enjoyed an incredible couples massage at The Spa. Thank you to Kathy and the awesome team there for making it so special for us!!

Sorry to say that this resort has lost its charm, it s the little things that add up to an unpleasant experience!!!
AC WAS BROKEN ( 93 degrees out) they brought a fan before offering to change our room!
-Cobwebs on front door and on all patio furniture!
-Black hair on bathroom floor (we are blond)!!
-Pool reservations are impossible, so they tell you to keep coming back every 20 minutes is case people leave or don t show up for their reservation!
- Napkins at lunch were filthy and stained!
-Pool service ends at 5pm, we couldn t get new towels and then you have to go into restaurant to order anything, including ice!
-Pool area is small and outdated, there should be more than 2 cabanas, and not with outrageous fees!
-Map was very confusing and there are not clear signs of room numbers at the driveways!

Beautiful place. Met a friend here while their sister was getting married. Seemed like staff was nice and accommodating. Parking was a little hard, but I couldve been in the wrong place to park.

We didn't stay here but stopped by to check it out. It seemed very quiet with few amenities apparently available at this time, just a bar and possibly one restaurant. It's definitely historic with buildings designed by noteworthy early woman architect Lillian Rice. Parts of the property looked a little run down and in need of TLC.

My wife's and I celebrated her birthday in May and it was a beautiful experience at this hotel. It is almost 100 years old and yet they managed to keep it quaint and lovely. We highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Lovely

I got married here! The place is perfect.

We were getting married on a tight schedule because of a family health issue. They met all of our requests with joy and professionalism. They recommended the florist and photographer who were also amazing people.

All our guests made plans to come back to the inn.

Thank you to the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe for making this day one I will never forget.
