Visited this theatre today 27th Feb to watch only fools and horses the musical nice little venue great show.
Went to watch Only Fools and Horses. Was an amazing experience and the performance was spectacular.
Great performance of loves labours lost.
Steep staircases to get to seats
Fantastic location. Back of the stalls has some restricted viewing of the top area of the stage though
It's a nice old fashioned theatre. Only downside was poor seating and restricted views.
Helpful Staff and good accessibility to the Stalls if you ask. Wonderful afternoon with Edward Seckerson in conversation with Dame Patricia Routledge. A beautiful theatre and has some great shows too.
I feel like there will be more stage performances than musicals
We saw "Heathers" and it was unbelievably incredible-- the staff was very kind and the actors were so talented. The building itself is also beautiful!
I went recently to see Only Fools and Horses there. The theatre has character. We were in row F of the stalls and for someone who is tall, had plenty of leg room. The previous time I was at this theatre was over 20 years ago watching Jeremy Brett play Sherlock Holmes.
One of my favourite old cosy theatres. Perfect for watching Peter Rabbit with the grandkids!
Went to see only fools and horses in this beautiful theatre. First time I've been there and was pleasantly surprised with the architecture and atmosphere at this lovely place.
The theatre was lovely and clean, staff friendly and helpful. Only criticism is not enough toilets.
****ONLY FOOLS & HORSES****
Hubby and I have been waiting for this since October and it was certainly worth the wait. Hubby and I have not laughed so much in ages.
The cast where second to non. Jim Sullivan and Paul Whitehouse have done John proud. They got all the best bits in and more.
Such a beautiful theatre. Really accessible and bar was readily available which is a plus.
Went to see Only Fools And Horses and we were not disappointed. The show is brilliant. The theatre has plenty of old world charm. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Old theatre. Really atmospheric, Be warned, a few seats have an awful view of the stage!
Brilliant fairly intimate venue. Venus in furs was ace here.
Nice theatre ..good show
Watch out for events in London which can restrict access
The performance was fantastic..theatre was a bit cramped...and people obviously felt that black people don't go to the theatre...
Saw fools and horses, good story lines bringing in the well known scenes, characters quite true to original show especially Boyse. Good leg room in seats compared to other theatres.
A good example of a london stage show adapted from TV.
nice theatre. saw the how the other half loves on match 2016
Only fools and horses. Great show in a great theatre.
Lovely ornate theatre in central London
Saw Only Fools and Horses musical which was great
The theatre itself is lovely - very ornate
I was "in the gods" - upper circle- but still a great view
Close to piccadilly tube station - less than 10 mins walk
But - lack of lady's loos (and signing there of) I spent the whole interval looking for the loos and then queuing for them - only 3 in the ones I found - didn't find any others
Fool and Horses on stage, brilliant, the most see show ... Venue was surprisingly spacious, helpful staff and well organised.
The tiger who came for tea, is a great outing for the kids
Good size theatre. Seats a little squashed but same as most theatres. Sat in stalls warm.and friendly environment x
Appealingly ornate theatre space in great West End location. The bars/toilets and entrances are horribly cramped but that's not what you are here for anyway.
A nice and intimate venue. Our seats were decent (albeit view slightly obstructed). Great central location too!
Saw only fools and Horses beautiful theatre and a good show
The seats in the gallery were horrendous and we spent the 2nd half sat on the floor to watch an enjoyable show
Great looking theatre inside. Straight out of a story book. We watched only fools and horses and was just my sense of humour.
Loved the show, restricted seats were cheap, but had to sit forward all night to see, will pay extra next time
Superb security chucked out a rather drunk person play was excellent
Went to see the Rat pack at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Big theatre with 4 levels of seating, stalls, royal circle, upper circle and gallery. I was seated in the upper circle on the aisle of the centre row. Be warned a small part of the stage is obscured so make sure you are seated in the middle of the centre row. The gallery is too far back so would avoid this, best to pay a bit more and sit in upper circle. Lovely Theatre and cracking show.
Beautiful old building, chairs are a tad snug but lovely nonetheless
Beautiful ornate theatre with gilded ceilings cherubs and angels.
Absolutely brilliant. Would recommend to anyone who liked only fools.
Incredible theatre, only fools and horses was AMAZING!!
Lovely building, great little bar and very friendly staff. Only real downside is lack of legroom, due to the Victorian origins.
DO NOT book with this Theatre unless you are prepared to be UNABLE to change dates. Unlike any decent commercial enterprise, the staff told me that FOUR tickets costing over 500 pounds could not be date changed TWO MONTHS BEFORE the performance. Typical of BritishCompanies whereas non the US the operator would change the tickets and say " Is there anything else I can help you with today" Come on England, it's not Brexit it is stubborn intransigence that holds us back as a nation. I am disgusted.
I would not recommend this theatre to anybody. There are over 50 theatres around the West End where you can have a good time and not leave crying and upset because you were 10 minutes late, staff was rude and you were not allowed to get to your seat. I understand there are rules in place but as staff you have to be polite with people and there is a mannered way to address them. After all we pay you by buying your tickets.
Extremely rude staff and manager Mark Stradling who took days to reply to my complaint was very abrupt.
Don't get tickets in the gallery - very uncomfortable
Went to see Christmas with the Rat Pack.
Great show with lots of songs you will be familiar with and some good Christmas tunes thrown in for good measure. Really enjoyable.
Bar wasn't packed like they can be, seats had loads of leg room (Unlike the Palladium - which was uniquely uncomfortable ). A really beautiful theatre, the only draw back was the trek to the gents. (Get your satnav ready lol)
Great theatre only small but we have been a few times now.
Beautiful old theater in the heart of London. Many successful plays shown here and generally worth booking ahead as generally sells out. Staff were friendly and helpful, bar and toilets were grand.
Polite staff. Layout to see the stage good. Only problem being over 6 foot not much leg room.
Theatre small but beautiful - staff friendly and personable. Watched Heathers there with my daughter. We loved it.
Saw breakfast at Tiffany's which was a good show, however didn't produce that show stopping "wow" feeling.
Please keep in mind that it is very steep if you're going for the slightly cheaper tickets in the gallery, which might produce a slight dizziness for people who aren't afraid of heights but creating a bigger issue for people who are
Staff very polite and helpful
Lovely theatre, good visibility, easily accessible.
What a absolutely stunning theatre staff a very friendly and help and parking is great multi storey at the bottom of orange street which is a 2 minute walk from the theatre but is very expensive
Beautiful theatre.
The staffs were nice and helpful..
Came here with kids to see where is Peter rabbit.
Good viewing from all seats and not too big a theatre, but makes you feel very close to the stage, especially up in the upper balconies.
Sound is clear and vibrant with comfortable seating and reasonable access.
Very helpful staff and good amenities.
Friendly staff, good sightlines, reasonable (West End) prices.
An amazing night Theatre Royal Haymarket to watch Only Fools and Horses great performance with Rodney and Boucy particularly impressive.
Lovely clean and spacious... the staff were brilliant, couldn t ask for anything more.
Highly recommended
Beautiful theatre, wonderful production; The Rat Pack
Lovely theatre ,not great views if you are in a wheelchair though as usual second class seats where you miss parts of the show due to balcony preventing you seeing upper part of stage due to seating allocation for wheelchair users , should be free seating or a much reduced price ,also we had to sit in same area and paid normal prices so we also missed aspects of the show which were relevant to the flow of 'only fools and horses' production ,what we did see of the show was very good and would recommend going ,but do not buy tickets in any seats near the back .
Got sent all over the place to be put in the wrong place
Great show only down side was seat too small hard and no back support
