Lovely intimate theatre, seating very tight howeve...
Lovely intimate theatre, seating very tight however and I think the stage a bit too high up.

Great atmosphere and beautiful theatre... We saw the rack pack live how which was fantastic.
Lovely atmosphere and easy to get there by train and not far from station walking distance.
Watched Only fools and horses! I can not recommend this musical enough! I laughed and I cried! Well mostly laughed. Lovely theatre. Staff are helpful and bars and toilets are nearby for the ladies, and the mens well... somewhere across the other side of the building lol, but it s not too bad. If you want hot drinks, they are at the lower level, only cold drinks served upstairs.
So only fools and horses! 10/10! It felt so real! Like I was watching it on the television! Its definitely Christmas! So far this has been the best start to the festive season! I may go and watch it again!
Quaint, beautiful little theatre, absolutely loved the place, would recommend seeing any performance here, comfy seats and homely atmosphere.
Amazing venue, a great view of stage no matter where you sit
Seats in the royal circle provide excellent view of the stage. The theatre is obviously old and historic and the seats were ok but quite snug.. only three ladies toilets to be used on this level and absolutely no room to move.. bar was small and ridiculous prices as expected so avoided but thoroughly enjoyed the show which is what you're there for
Love the place! Last time we visited, it was to see Heathers and the venue, staff fab as always.
Theatre is in a good location, easily accessible. Comfortable seats and good views and sound from nearly all.
Great old London theatre, used to be an usher here when i was at school. Intermission icecream was 50p a pot. Let you work out my age!
It was nice and calm as i went up late in the evening but there was a poor smell
I went to see Heather's and it is fantastic. Even if you're not a super fan of musicals, you'll like this show!
Expensive. Visibility is very bad from the upper rows.
Saw only fools and horses. It was epic! Drinks very expensive but they are in any theatre
A beautiful theatre. Good views from the stalls. Only fools and horses was brilliant. It really needs to know the series to appreciate some of the homage bits of the show.
A Fantastic theatre everyone should make the effort and go your enjoy definitely
Avoid the gallery at all costs. Your back will thank you. It's made up of rows of quite firm benches and you'll get very cosy with the person next to you. Yes, it's great to get cheap seats but you might as well pay a little bit more for an actual seat! On the plus side the view is absolutely fine, though obviously distant. If you feel you need opera glasses there aren't any available so bring your own.
With a full house the bar can get very hectic, make sure you pre order your interval drinks.
Only fools and horses was excellent
They also sold really great ice cream
One of the most beautiful theatres in the West End. Can't wait for my next visit.
Went to see only fools and horses which is brilliant
If you choose the seats with obstructed view you will miss half the show which happens higher on the set
Only fools and horses was a fantastic hilarious and amazing show. Highly recommended. The performance was brillant
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC BEST SHOW I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME...
The venue is really nice with painted ceilings, and the staff is friendly.
Beautiful classic theatre. Stall seats a bit tight for six footers.
Only fools and horses the musical.
Didn't know what to expect, but have to say it was brilliant
Only Fools And Horses brilliant highly recommend the performance would definitely go again five stars plus more
Lovely theater with seats that feel very close to the stage, even on the 2nd level. Only thing: please please please put in another women's restroom (or install more stalls)! It sucks spending all of intermission in line.
Lovely old theatre, very steep in the Upper Circle so take care.
Upper circle has very narrow seats and not much leg room. You feel you are sitting on shoulder if the person in front
This theatre has the most absolutely stunning interior I have ever seen, it is a fantastic place to watch a show. I saw Frozen with Suranne Jones and Jason Watkins, horrific subject but wonderful performances.
Wheelchair accessible through a side door (to right of main entrance). Seating with slight restricted view if any show has anything happening at the top of the stage. However, otherwise view is good and sound is great. Staff friendly. Prices good.
Saw Only fools and horses...that was amazing. Seating however, very uncomfortable!
Visited for the opening weekend of Breakfast at Tiffany's. The theatre inside is glorious and we were incredibly impressed by the shows production values. Would perhaps pay a bit extra next time for Royal Circle seats as I'm not a big fan of heights and where we were sat was quite steep!
Beautiful Theatre with good visibility of Stage. Easy to get to.
Gallery seating uncomfortable for the larger theatre patron. Show excellent.
Saw 'Frozen' here a few weeks ago. Loved the production and my 'restricted view' ticket really wasn't too restricted (A23, upper circle). My only gripe was that the space felt too big for the play. Would come back and book the same seat again.
Lovely old style theatre. Thoroughly entertained by the production of The Rat Pack.
Beautiful theatre. Fantastic show!! Highly recommend this quaint theatre and intimate feel it evoked x
Lovely little venue, we watched Peter rabbit show which was awesome, you could sit anywhere and have a great view of the stage
great theatre and show but will pick the stalls next time
Beautiful theatre and "Frozen" was outstanding ... but bar drinks choice was stuck in the 1970s - only gin was Gordons and absolutely no bitter / real ale available so go next door to Haymarket Hotel for your pre-theatre drinks !
Oy Fools and horses is amazing but don't sit in the gallery seats. They are far too uncomfortable!
Only fools and horses the musical. We were not sure what to expect. We were wowed. Great laughs, the cast were fantastic and I quickly fell back in love with the convincing, well mimicked characters we all love from our favourite tv show. The songs were great, particularly Holding back the years which was sung with a beautiful voice and moved me to tears. I love this show and I honestly didn t think I would. I was worried that it would ruin my memories of Del-Boy and Rodders but they just made me love them more. A great sing-along ending put the cherry on the cake. Brilliant!
I would highly recommend a visit to see this show.
Theatre Royal is a small, intimate theatre with friendly, helpful staff. Easy to reach, just a stones-throw from Piccadilly.
Prices were in line with any West-End theatre.
Went here to see Only Fools and Horses. Lovely little theatre and view from the balcony was great. Only would say that even for london thought the drinks were rather expensive
Heathers the Musical surpassed all my expectations. The theatre was beautiful and had a great view.
The theatre a bit tiered, needs a bit of make up.And the seats a bit narrow, so be aware
But if it's a nice play on the stage you don't pay attention to those things.
You can literally see nothing from the balcony. But the more recurrence expensive seats are great.
Just up my alley. Grand Old Dame Building and just amazing ambience
Every show in this theatre is incredible, and the theatre experience itself is wonderful! I highly recommend!
What a beautiful theatre, and a great show. Peter rabbit come to life, wonderful staff.
