The first time I went to Cafe Borrone I ordered a simple coffee, but as I was eating my scramble I kept hearing the barista yell "Frosted Mocha!" Needless to say, when I went back to Cafe Borrone I had to try the institution that is the Frosted Mocha. A+ would get it again

European cafe atmosphere in Menlo Park. And, bonus, right next to the best bookstore on the peninsula, Kepler's.

Excellent place for small things. Their blueberry things are awesome.

At this point cafe barrone is practically a landmark

Had wonderful brunch here! A few of us shared the banana pancakes, #3 eggs and #6 eggs and everything tasted great!

Best sandwiches. Best breakfast foods. Best everything. Amazing!

I come hear every 2 days a week and I love the Tea and its relaxing to sit down and talk or watching stuff on my iphone and this place is my peace place and in the fall time I always go to this place.

Only had coffee but food looked good with lots of people eating...next time Ill try their minestrone soup

On vacation from the NW and this was a treasure. Excellent vegetarian food, beverages, and desserts. Add Keppler's bookstore adjacent to the cafe and wow.

Informal, friendly place from early breakfast though to late dinner, with a varied and tasty menu.

Good spot for brunch. Be ready to wait 10-15 to order and another half an hour to get the food but overall service and food were great.

Cafe Borrone has delectable food. If there is one problem, it's that it is a bit of a victim to its own success and the lines can occasionally be pretty long. You order up front and servers bring your food to your table. Very nice. The coffee drinks are good, and they serve alcohol.

Have a great tri-tip sandwich. The ladys seemed to love their salads

Come here to sip some coffee and dit outside with friends. It's acslm spot for that on the Peninsula.

A very good cafe with delicious salads, meals, and pastries. Their coffee is pretty good, too.

Quarantine may have happened but Cafe Borrone's quality is still great as usual. Gouda sandwich is the best thing ever.

This is a must breakfast place, (if you are local)!

Excellent place in most regards, but they have over a hundred seats and they don't have high chairs. Not a single one. Not kid friendly.

they serve, whether its ice tea, desserts, mocha shakes etc, etc, etc, is DIVINE. Thank you

Great place to eat, the scenery is nice. The food is good, the staff is friendly and patient. Yes, the lines are long, yes it looks chaotic, but hey... Just roll with it.

If you only ever eat at one place on the peninsula let this be it. They make the best European style pastries but also feature full breakfasts. They also serve lunch and dinner but breakfast on the weekends is the star. A tip is you can call in a order for pickup and then sit at a table, then you don't have to wait.

Eclectic, well thought out menu. Great for any meal. Prepare to wait during peak hours.

Great food and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the restroom was hard to find and in a very crowded hallway considering how busy the cafe was.

I love cafe Borrone. Their food and coffee is always good and my favorite is their frosted mocha.. it is heaven, ice cream with coffee in the same glass. It is a must try.

Pros:
- coffee bar is very good, whether you get a latte or a frosted mocha (a speciallity) you will be impressed.
- when it is sunny, outside seating by the fountain is fun on a warm day.
All food there is good.
- it has an awesome local vibe

Cons:
- it is on the $$$ side.
- it is always crowded, specially in the weekends.
- inside seating is decent but can be improved for the price point.

Great drinks, solid food choices - great location right next to Kepler's.

Divine tarts. Fantastic eggs with crispy potatoes. Don't skip the waffles.

Crowded and favorited spot with locals, Right next to a great bookstore, maybe stop by there first and get a book? Outdoor seating appears to be the most popular thing. They have chocolate milkshakes that are SO amazing.

A favorite rendez-vous when you want to meet friends in Menlo Park. There is ample (free) parking underneath. It is conveniently located downtown, near the corner of Santa Cruz Ave and El Camino Real, right next door to Kepler's Book (another favorite). Buy your food at the cash register, they will give you a number and they will bring it to your table. Check out their quiche lorraine.

Airy high ceilings, big windows, and lots of outdoor seating make this one of my favorite places to meet up with friends. The food options are always solid, great sandwiches and breakfast/brunch dishes, and a little off the busy street. #vegetarianfriendly #eatoutside #peoplewatching

Food is good, has some vegetarian dishes. Prices are good for the area. They could do a better job of explaining they bring the food to the table but not the drinks.

Weekends are crazy here, especially Sunday. The sandwiches are exceptional! Sitting area is good very European. And service is super quick too.

Great cafe. Really big outdoor seating area. The staff is a little hectic trying to accurately serve so many people. Food is good but a bit pricy, egg orders come by themselves so if you want a side like potatoes it's additional and not cheap.

Classic cafe, come enjoy the sun on the patio. Try the lemonade on a hot day!

After ordering the wait for food is extremely long. We received half our order and they forgot about the rest. A bit chaotic not really anyone to check on you.

Great meeting point of the Menlo Park community. Some good day specials as pasta with mushrrooms and grilled Monterrey squid. Some good cakes for all ages, Besides a great bookstore.
