Amazing ambience . . . Good crowd . . . Good place to try one's fortune . . .
Great spot for coffee and cake when in Adelaide. Naturally it has all the gaming facility's.
If you have money to burn then burn it in style on a night out in town. Some of the games are rigged to give the house a better advantage but as far as a casino it's exactly what you'd expect. Occupies one of the most beautiful buildings in Adelaide and is in an incredibly convenient location.
Parking is terrible.. Im not lucky at all when i gamble there.. Rewards give very little.. & not even free coffee for patrons.. Why would people go there when the suburbs offer so much more.. Very disappointing for adelaide
We tried a couple of bars (EOS and Pirate Life) after the cricket finished early. The EOS was a new bar it was nice but to me the reverberation/excessive noise was a bit of a down side. The Pirate Life was fine..even has live music plus I had to get my head around the Unisex toilets....not sure myself what to think.
It's a casino.. Expensive beer and drinks.. Yeh used to be better.. Couldn't find older pokies only new ones... I like the older clasics
I had a really good time for a couple of hours I was there. I enjoyed the number of different games that were available in Adelaide Casino. For sure it is a packed place but there will always be enough room for you to have fun and also a bar & contemporary dining.
A good place for a few drinks at the loco bar in the casino. The service is good and atmosphere is great most of the time. The only down side is saturday nights can sometimes have a mixed crowed and tends to b more crowded in certain areas of the casino. The toilets are a little outdated, in particular the ones downstairs which are full most of the time.
Its ok if ya the brokies are shut you can always get a dink here and if into losing your cash this place is perfect
This is a nice place to meet friends, have lunch with them, in few different venues, lots of other things.
Needs a modernising downstairs and more space and glam upstairs.
It's a casino, 3 stars because I walked out lighter than I walked in. Otherwise it's good..
Food prices have increased and the quality is not as good
Whilst visiting Adelaide, be sure to visit the Adelaide Casino conveniently located near the Adelaide Central train station you will find it to be a quaint and smaller casino but, it is still full of enough action to make your stay in Adelaide somewhat enjoyable and civilised.
Good place to hang out with friends . at least four different types of bars dotted all around the place.
They should have happy hour prior to footy games instead of trying to cash in with regular price drinks. People would probably tend to buy a meal there as well if they did this
So many other places to go near by that offer a much better atmosphere! And for the casino to have an eftpos minimum is absolutely ridiculous! Unless your a serious gamblers, go somewhere else!
Been to several casinos around Australia & Adelaide is very chilled and casual. Very nice!!!
Attended the casino on the evening of the 26/6/2018 for the Australia vs Peru soccer match. During half time on the way back from the bathroom I found a 100 dollar bill sitting under a poker machine. About half an hour later I was accostered by a security guard asking me about it (assume they had seen it via cctv). Told him the story and gave they money when asked. Was subsequently called a thief and had a poor version of common law recited to me before three security cards escorted me out the front door for steeling . So ridiculous. Would bet anything they pocketed that cash too.
Was randomly selected to be removed from venue for no apparent reason. Could be because I was associated with a gentleman who had won thousands of dollars. Disgusting and discriminatory behaviour.
Great atmosphere, plenty of gaming machines to choose from, along with tables to play at. All staff are very helpfull and friendly
Staff vary between super nice and super not nice, other than that it's a pretty run of the mill casino
Small compared to other states but opulant & glitzy surroundings. Good food.
It's alright to visit once every year, but it seems to have become a bogan hangout for many.
Very attractive old building that has been renovated to cater for what seems a richer and younger nightlife than perhaps what is currently present. Extremely clean and visually appealing, the staff are courtesy trained, however the security guard stopped me and asked me to take off my glasses to look at my eyes, at 11am on a week day which was a little concerning and slightly off-putting, which could perhaps be why there was barely another person in the entire place. In any case, worth a visit, the attached restaurants look quite beautiful and the layout likely has what you are looking for.
Excellent food magnificent staff not pushy just good people cannot fault highly recommend it is not just a a casino you really should explore this wonderful place it will amaze you
Huge place full of pokies and games to play. Lots of people congregate here and can be a pain trying to get service for a drink as therd be a line up. Open 24hrs 7 days a week with food and beverage available
The staff inside are very patient. They will explain all the rules of the games and they are skilled. There are plenty of games to play inside and you are allowed to take some photos inside.
a small and quiet casino, the best thing is open 24/7
Wow. Enjoyed every minute. Great location with easy access from the train. Nice array of tables and Poker machines. Fantastic dining at extremely great rates. Choosing Patty Macs casual dining upstairs was a hard choice. We were pleasantly surprised with the friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Sad to see it so run down..believe it is being renovated...not before time..needs to get back to its glory days!
You should visit this place just to find Lex Luthor. It is literally in an underground railway station. Not a bad dancefloor upstairs great staff and somewhere I can "bust a groove".
Great Place to take Families for Dinner or Lunch or just to have a Drink before or after the Crows Games at the Adelaide Oval
Had a fantastic time. High tea then tge machienes then the tables
Havnt been for many years........Wow, not much has really changed to be honest, apart from signs everywhere reminding people of the 1.5m distancing rule...... however they allowed so many people in there on a Saturday night, it was impossible to accomplish.... It displayed to me the attitude of " Money before Safety" the building and it's historic value is impressive however.
Generally pretty good but bar staff particularly Andrew was miserable with no customer service skills
Wow the casino looks great. New area is very spacious and fantastic The new hotel Eos is wonderful. We had a great Friday night. Thank you Adelaide casino we really appreciated it.
A nice space, but impossible to move around. Always trying to squeeze past someone.
Sooo Rude got dressed up with my daughter who recently turned 18 for a surprise celebration night to casino drive an hour to get there and they wont let us in because we are not members and we got there too late to sign up ..... NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DOES IT MENTION THIS ruined a good surprise now she wisbes shed gone out with her friends instead of wasting a lame night stuck with the parents ...... so disappointed SKYCITY way to spoil a girls celebration night
We stayed there all night with my friend. Won some money.
Very small, too cramped. Didn't enjoy my short time there, nothing like the casino in the small city I'm used to Perth, feels like a quick grab for money.
The layout is well done and there are plenty of games for everyone. Really like the food that's on offer and the bar
Come on Adelaide, surely you can have a decent Happy Hour up in the Sports Bar.
Also wouldn't hurt for the staff to smile occasionally.
My mum and I went in today, Friday morning about 10.30am. It wasn't very busy so there were lots of machines to play on. We love the variety and there are ones that you don't find locally. We stopped for lunch at the cafe downstairs. Mum had the roast of the day which was a huge plate with lots of meat, vegetables and the most delicious gravy. I had the spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread which was huge also and absolutely delicious. I couldn't finish it all. The staff in the cafe were polite, friendly and really helpful with our likes and dislikes.
We valet parked our car and the guys there were lovely. They helped mum out of the car and got her walker from the boot. They made us feel welcomed and we were happy. They were also really lovely to us when we picked our car up after a wonderful day at the casino.
We didn't make our fortune but we had a fantastic day. Thank you.
Its ok. But nothing special. Pretty sad to see all these young ppl there.
Always amusing watching people loose their money in an instant. Might as well give it to me instead
There are not much space on the table games. 3 per table.
No offence but it's a very Borring set up compared to other casinos.
Unwelcoming, they just want your money.... I don't know why I go there... ripoffs
Eos Skycity Casino 5 Star Hotel. Pictured from the Pedestrian Bridge. Will be opening Dec 2020
