Amazing beer selection, although I literally stood in the corner the entire time, drank one beer and left. Not enough bar / cocktail seating.

Before I left this review I read some of the lowest reviews for the griffon. Those folks are cray cray crazy. The food is quite possibly the best we have ever had in western New York and they have items I have never seen anywhere else before. We eat out a lot and we are coming here at least once a week going forward and working through trying everything on the menu. Everyone of the staff we have encountered is awesome, very friendly and helpful.

Food and service was excellent.The wait for the food a tag long but worth it. The lighting in the evening sucks big time,too dark to read the menu.

Have been here a few times for food and beverages. Staff is very knowledgeable about food and extensive beer offerings.

Actually went 2 days in a row! Friday fish was great, corn fritters, pulled pork and beef on weck were awesome as well! Great selection of beer and very friendly staff.

Delicious every time we go, and service is spectacular.

Although it's a pub, we find it very family friendly during dinner hours, and likely any time. Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff... food is downright delicious and reasonably priced. It's hard not to just order your favorites but you have to try it all!

What a great restaurant! The food is amazing! And they have over 50 different beers to choose from.

A bit pricey to be honest. So expect the bill to be high. That being said the food was absolutely amazing. My fiancee and I ate here for our anniversary and were not disappointed in the slightest. Attentive servers and amazing flavors make this an excellent spot to take a date.

Visiting from Wyoming and my local family spoke very highly. We did our family dinner at this place and it was amazing. They easily handled a group of 11 (we called ahead for this one) and were accommodated without a problem. Our server Ryan N. was "THE BALLS"! No errors with our order, everything came out hot, we weren't rushed, and this was on a Friday night. Food was great!!! Loved the sweet potatoe fries and the potatoe soup was delish. All of our sandwiches were great, the plate of "pillows" for dessert was very good... I dont think there is a bad thing on the menu. Absolutely amazing and I totally recommend.

Reservations were made, yet seated late. Food was just OK. 21 dollars for a Gnocchi Poutine that came with no sides, very little cheese and rib meat that was very fatty. Waitress was almost non existent.

Meatballs in my wife's Bahn Mi were very dry.
We had high hopes for this restaurant and it was just meh. High prices for just OK quality and subpar service.

Also, incredibly loud, especially near the bar. Seating was so backed up that people waiting at the bar were right up with our table.

Griffon has very tasty meals and pub food and the service has never failed to be exemplary. Drinks can be pricey if you're not paying close attention to the beer list but the bartenders are helpful and knowledgeable and ready to help you make the right choice.
Overall, I highly recommend this as a late stop for food and drink.

Best burger I have had in a long time. Topped with onion rings and a fried egg.
Add the 50+ craft beers and this place is going to be a regular occurrence for me.

Good food, reasonable prices. Very loud on a busy night, like the ceilings don't absorb the noise. But I've been here several times and I'd return.

Varied menu, great selection of beer, friendly staff.

The food is phenomenal. We actually came back the next day just to try more of the menu! Standouts include the Roasted Strawberry salad, Chicken Gruyere (the shells and cheese really are that good), and poutine (best you can get south of the boarder). The price was much cheaper than competitors of the same calibre too!

The service was excellent as well, both servers as well as the bar tender were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu and had plenty of advice on what to get.

We came here during our vacation but wished it was closer to home!

Delicious ..many menu options.. Gluten free is also a option.. Reasonable prices ... Clean.. Reservations highly suggested for after 3pm..

Amazing beer list, featuring great brews from Mikeller, Ballast Point, Evil Twin, etc. and local brewers. Can get flights and pints. A must go on a Friday night for the fish, and the Gouda Shells are so decadent and delicious.

The food was fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was just great. I'd definitely eat there again next time I visit Niagara falls!

Great pub food for our stop in Buffalo. The burgers are good!!! Try the fish-fry on Fridays - had the Cajun style haddock, very large portion, came with sweet potato fries too . Friendly and attentive service . Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Simply amazing. The food is to die for, it s very nice inside and the people are extremely friendly. Not too pricy an good portions. The famous Gouda Mac and cheese is a must... I crave it. 5/5 stars all day.

Great place for lunch. Their sandwiches are large and fries are seasoned perfectly. I keep returning for the shrimp po''boy, it's wonderful.

Went for lunch with a friend on Saturday. Service was slow, I tried the nachos this time, won't do it again. I love the keylime cheesecake that they sometimes have, none today. Overall this visit was underwhelming.

We were suggested The Griffon Gastropub by a guy that worked at a gift shop at Niagara Falls. We were starving and most things there were closing or closed. It was a great recommendation, we really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and our waitress. So I must suggest if you're in the area, and want some good food at a decent price hit the "directions" button on your Google now.

The food and service are both excellent. Great choices with a different twist. The only negative thing I can think of is that they need to get some heat in the ladies room - brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Took a chance because I needed someplace that was open late. Completely unassuming from exterior. The inside is gorgeous. I sat at the bar. I had the pleasure of trying to new beers... excellent selection. I ordered fries and shrimp. The portion was generous and my food came out very hot and fresh. I took home a heaping slice of chocolate hazelnut cake. It took me two nights to finish it... definitely shareable. Desserts from from a local bakery. I wish I could remember the name. The bartender was very friendly & offered suggestions on places I could find craft beer I can purchase and take home with me since I enjoyed them so much. I would definitely go back if ever in the area again.

We travelled to the US from Canada for a few days for holidays and we're guided to this restaurant from the hotel. Amazing (and I mean amazing) food! Everything was outstanding and so flavourful, especially the Kona Crusted Steak. Highly recommend for a fantastic dining experience.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try based on the previous reviews. I must say, they have the BEST burger I've ever had in my life. Ordered the P&J burger (peanut butter and jelly). You can even decide how you want your burger cooked (like a steak). It was beyond delicious! We had a side of fries which had a cajun seasoning to them and a side of their famous mac and cheese which was very creamy and cheesy. The service was excellent and they came by to make sure we were topped up with our drinks, had enough napkins and made sure the food was okay. The interior was very classy, it's definitely not your typical looking pub. Prices were very fair too. Will definitely return again!

Awesome little pub! Extensive beer selection and an interesting yet delicious menu! I will have to come back here to try more of their beers, and work my way through the menu. Try the pub platter if you want a good selection of their food on the same plate. BBQ seasoned fries are excellent. Good job guys! Keep it up!

We've been here before, and we will definitely visit again. There was a bit of an issue this time but I'll get to that in a bit. We had crab cake appetizers. It came with cucumber wasabi aioli. They were amazing. Be sure to get the aioli on the side. You just want the slightest little bit with each bite. Unless of course you can handle wasabi - then go wild. He had 4 of the mini tacos and couldn't stop raving about them. He especially loved the cod. Now for me. What I ordered came with a spicy pepper sauce/aioli? I asked for it on the side. When our server came with our food she said right away - they put the sauce on it - the sauce is not that hot. It was smothered in it. It didn't seem like sending it back was an option. I don't understand why she brought it to the table in the first place knowing that is not how I ordered it. I felt obliged to take it as is. I quickly came to the conclusion that if I had to wait for them to re-do the order my husband would be finished his lunch by then. As I said, we'll be back next time we're in the area, the food is good - I was just disappointed that the server brought food knowing that is not how I ordered it.

Excellent service and food!

Service was great, especially considering their lack of staff and the current state of the US at this time. Overall the atmosphere was inviting and the food was delicious! I ordered the honey bbq wings. The rest of my party ordered different varieties of chicken, salad, fries, and sandwiches, which were all very good. Drinks came out fast, and the wait for the food wasn t long. They were accommodating, patient, and very hospitable.

I will most definitely be eating here again, should I find myself in the area.

Food is good and prices are fair. The entrees are creative. This place really stands out in this town without many options. Beer selection is fantastic and service good as well. Would be 4 stars in most big cities but I give it a five as it stands out in this town.

Chill atmosphere, amazing selection of beers, great food. Got 2 flights, 8 different, good tasting beer and the awesome chicken and waffle with jalepenos. The fries were amazing as well.

First time - excellent food. Preston our waiter was out of this world!
