The Gresham is a touch of class on O'Connell Street - which could use some class sometimes. It is pricey (or dear) but the food is good and the service is excellent. It is a good place for a nice meal if you're going to The Abbey or The Gate for a show.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The room does not have the quality you see in the photos and the room faced a dark interior corner. The breakfast was of very poor quality and does not justify its high price. The reception staff was not welcoming and they made us wait 20 minutes to give us the room. The only thing that is saved is the location.

Nice place. Use hotels for sleeping while here, Too many night life places to have fun. Great breakfast, very helpful staff, clean facilities. If you're American. Remember, you're in Europe, and enjoy!

The hotel was very nice and corresponds to the star standard.
The rooms were clean and well furnished and our request for a quiet room was even taken into account.
The food was also very good and tasty. Have nothing to complain about :)

If you are looking for a hotel on the North side of the Liffey then you will probably consider the Gresham. The lobby area is convenient for casual meetings and the bar menu is pretty good.

However if you are looking for a venue for a premier business event or conference, there are other venues that you should explore.

The conference rooms I have been in for events have also been inaccessible for people with limited mobility and in wheelchairs as there has been no lift access.

Do check in on FourSquare when you are in the lobby as I have known colleagues avail of some special offers through the mobile app.

Hotel was nice and room was comfortable although in need of some repairs. Door knob on bathroom was falling off. Food was very poor. We had dinner and breakfast and would rate both as below average.

Nice hotel with spectacular location in the heart of Dublin. The view from the rear-facing rooms leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are not overly spacious, but they are very clean, comfortable and regularly serviced. Would definitely stay here again when travelling for business.

Stopped in for glass of wine & Guinness. Gave waiter 50 to pay for it. Had to ask 15mins later for my change. Am not normally suspicious but strongly feel it was done on purpose in hope I would forget.

Had the Gresham booked for me and my mam who is wheelchair bound for 3 nights over Xmas first off when we arrived the wheelchair ramp at the front was no good for my mams wheelchair the staff said wheelchair was to heavy for the ramp then we were told to go around the back way it was down some rotten alleyway smell of piss down there finally we got into the hotel 30 min after arriving told we have to wait cos room not ready had to wait for 1 hour 20 min when we eventually got up to room my mams wheelchair wouldn t fit into the bathroom so we couldn t stay worst experience ever. Why say the hotel is wheelchair accessible if in fact it isn t booked it months in advance worst hotel ever

Some good points and bad!

Some good points and bad!

Good visible Covid19 processes upon entry
- Most were not adhering to it

Masks are mandatory around the hotel
- Most were not adhering to it

Rooms were ok. A bit dated but comfortable and good air/heat as needed.

Hotel overall was very clean and seemed to be constantly being cleaned which is great!

Prices of food were very expensive. Example being a very small portion of chips being prohibitively costly.

Also, seems to be alot of "room parties" happening at the minute. Roaring and music blaring for hours. Obviously people using the rooms as a way around the current restrictions. Was disappointing to hear.

Was a decent hotel but for what we paid we only had a view of a dank alley. Also beds were very uncomfortable. Stayed here while on our honeymoon. Love the history attached to this hotel though and due to it's convenient location I would recommend if you're into the night life.

Beautiful old Dublin landmark hotel in a very central location. Badly let down by awful poor service and dire bar food. If you want a bath prepare for Luke warm water that takes around ten minutes running to even get to Lukewarm. Had hoped for a better stay.

Stayed here to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The hotel is centrally located.
Mario on Reception was absolutely amazing and made our stay so special. He arranged for a room upgrade and a late check out, both complimentary.
Breakfast in these pandemic times was very organised and relaxed.
We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Very centrally located hotel. Most sights are within walking distance. Spacious neat rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Airlink bus stops and leaves next to the hotel, so excellent connection to and from the airport. All in all a must for a city trip to Dublin!

If you want to stay awake at night you are in the right place. The front desk makes promises to contain the in-house crashes nothing happened at 1 o'clock in the night we were offered a change of room on the second night as you obviously did not want to change the volume.
Not acceptable for a four star hotel.
No recommendation.

Spanish hotel with rooms in English-style. The hotel is very good located (centre of Dublin) and the price was very cheap. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice! I had an issue with the room (strange sound coming from a wardrobe) - they found me another room immediately and the hotel boy helped me to move and ensured that everything was ok in the new room.

4 instead of 5 stars because it would lack a part of wellness, part gym, spa. Although the hotel is great. Essential to be in Dublin, the best. Maybe a small upgrade would be fine. Facilities and rooms phenomenal. The best I've seen outside of Spain.

Staff friendly and welcoming, efforts taken for Coronavirus, rooms comfortable, spacious and clean. Disappointed to see American tourists staying during pandemic. While a lovely hotel, food good too, the centre of Dublin is very rough, more noticeable due to lack of tourists, not the place for a stroll in the evening.

I stayed here last night and was checked in by a woman called Brooklyn who was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately the stay was not as pleasant because there was an awful loud group of people on our floor who were going between rooms until around 2.30am, slamming doors and laughing and shouting. There was also a really loud buzzing noise in the room but we eventually figured out if we took the card out of the little machine by the door it would turn off after 5 minutes or so. The room was very cold. The elevator was broken and actually closed on my boyfriend as he was walking into it. Our room was pretty close to the elevator too, and we could hear it going up and down all night. The fire alarm went off at 8.30am for about 20 seconds and turned back off again. Never had such an awful sleep in a hotel.

I'm a business traveller.

I'm a business traveller.
I had to book on the spur of the moment due to a cancelled flight.
The room is newly refubished. They gave it to me at 9 am with no problems.
The hotel is in a central location on o'connell street so a 10 minute walk to temple bar.
The staff are friendly and the wireless works.
Maybe the decor in reception could do with a bit of sprucing up. But, it is supposedly a landmark hotel, so i guess some wear and tear is also understandable.....
So, for me, a good experience so far.....

Lovely comfortable room. Good location in the heart of the city. Helpful staff. Shame some of them kept knocking on my door the last half hour before I was due to check out as otherwise it was a perfect stay.

It is wonderful inside & the toilets were spotless. The downfalls were: service quite slow even though they weren't busy, though I was offered a free coffee to compensate for this. I was in for breakfast & ordered boiled eggs, soft, 1 was hard, the other was semi-soft. Waiting staff were pleasant and friendly.
