Location is great. You're central to everything and staff were friendly. Place had a tiny lap pool, sauna and basic gym. A couple of minor negatives were our bar fridge was barely working and earliest check in wasnt till 3pm. Would stay again.

The hotel is beautiful in all common areas. it has been painstakingly restored and reading the history of the hotel was also really interesting. The gym and pool were good. The renovated rooms are nice looking but not true to the heritage of the building. They are also not comfortable for a week long stay as there was no arm chair or lounge. It was either the bed or desk to sit. There also was no carpet, there are floor boards instead. I had an issue with water leaking in the first room, I sat for an hour waiting to be reallocated but they forgot about me and it wasn't until I rang back that they followed up. The gentleman who assisted me move was really nice but there wasn't really any apology for the inconvenience. I know only certain floors are renovated I hope that the.design is reviewed for the other floors with consideration to heritage anf comfort. The bathrooms do achieve this already and are nicely appointed. I also hope a bit more time is spent assisting guests when things go wrong I wasn't given a new room till 9:30 and I had to work the next day! A colleague also had a fire alarm go off after midnight with no follow up to advise it was a false alarm or even that is was being investigated.

Wow, what happened to the Grace Hotel, this is NOT a 4 star, barely worth 1 Star. I use to stay here all the time, it was a beautiful Hotel back in the Day. I have been away for a few years and just stayed there, May 2019, what a difference 5 years makes. Gone are plush carpets, beautiful soft beds, quality linen, furnishings and food. They have renovated, and honestly it looks like they shopped at Fantastic Furniture. Cheap wood floors, rubbish furnishing and beds, our bed didn't even that a top sheet. The rooms are now cold and sterile and not nice at all. So disappointing, what a sad end for a once great hotel. The restaurant and food has collapsed as well. I asked for an omelette and the chef literally just threw it together. Egg wasn't even mixed, still chuncks of white, then just threw ham on top folded it over and chucked it on the plate, still runny and not cooked. Just rubbish and you could just tell they didn't care. Real shame, don't waste your time or money staying here.

Best hotel in Sydney. We loved our stay. Convenient location easy 20 minute walk to all tourist attractions near the harbour. 7/11 close by for those saving $$$. We loved the room service and aircon (we went during summer). Only downfall was no coffee machine, only coffee sachets (like coffee tea bags?). But you do discover some great cafes nearby if you are a coffee drinker like myself. Pool is in great condition and staff are friendly. View from room was amazing.

The old style of the exterior and the interior of the room are neat and clean with a modern sense. Adjacent to Darling Harbor, it has good accessibility, and a new tram has opened in the vicinity, so it is also a so-called station area. Although breakfast is not a buffet, you can try your own American breakfast (although it's unavoidable in Corona). However, I think it was a fault that it took a while to check in....It was an overall satisfactory stay.

4.5 star hotel right in the middle of the CBD. Location is excellent within walking distance to both wynyard and town hall stations, QVB and Westfield shopping centre.
Hotel has a lap pool, spa and sauna as well as a small fitness centre. Favourite thing about it is the sundeck.

I stay here a few times a year while traveling on business and the location is fantastic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My biggest complaint would be the Internet is very very slow and this is consistent throughout the entire hotel

Amazing Grace, how sweet the location, that saved a consultant like me. Clean rooms, great service, awesome restaurants & staff.

NDC Sydney folks, it's the place to be - unless you're presenting & hanging out in The Hilton.

Good hotel in very good location, walking distance to anywhere in CBD. Room was spacious and clean. Got fruits and nuts with dried fruits in the room every few days. The breakfast selection is very good as well, with some variation every day.

Only few negative things were very slow WiFi internet, the fact that Sauna was not available and the pool is very short to swim.

I have stays a couple of times and it's a beautiful art deco retro feel. Great prices for what it you get and where it is located. Service is always great. The Old style english pub is pumping all the time. This is one hotel I always recommend consistently

Centrally located near shopping, restaurants and bars. Excellent service and valet parking. Pool, sauna, gym well maintained. Room size is comfortable and amenities are quality. Breakfast in bed or enjoy more choices at the buffet.

An extra bed fee was required in advance, even though the extra bed was paid in advance at check-in.
It was said that it was OK to explain, but it was also required at checkout.
There is no staff who can speak Japanese and all the staff are unfriendly. Not recommended for those who can not speak English.
It is two stars because there is good coin laundry and location.

Comfortable if bland rooms. Great location. Service competent if a little unenthusiastic. Would love to see some of the wonderful Art Deco furnishings of the public spaces in the rooms. Walls surprisingly thin for an older hotel.

We arrived about 9am from an overnight flight. Our room was not ready but staff gave us access to the spa so we could take a shower. Had a massive room with modern bathroom. Convenient location. High end shops in adjacent street. Walking distance to hop-on hop-off bus. Good breakfast. Irish pub in same building (not affiliated to the hotel). Art Deco style building. Been refurbished but retained old charm. Good alternative to character-less modern hotels.

I had a workplace off-site in the York room. The Grace staff on the front desk were really polite and helpful. The air-conditioning struggled a little, but that may have been due to how many people attended. The catering was good and if you needed a coffee, there were plenty of internal and outside places to grab one. The facilities were good too.

There are plenty of better hotels to stay at. Self-proclaimed five star hotel that runs out of hot water is no hotel at all. Add to that arrogant, unhelpful staff and you have an unpleasant experience. Will not be staying here again, would not recommend.

Not worth,

Not worth,

It's hard to come in, but no boby knows why.
You're waiting some time in the row to show it's a good club.
But why.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Grace, the staff were all exceptionally friendly although we did find it difficult to locate the underground carpark as we weren't familiar with the area.

They supplied us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, and the rooms although clearly old had been renovated and were very nice.

Would stay there again!

attended an work seminar at the Grace Hotel. When I enter the the door, there were friendly doormen who I asked for direction for the where abouts of the function, I was been directed with clear direction as to where to go. The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Overall service was great.

I stayed in The Grace during our week in Sydney. It is in a great, central location in the CBD. It's close to plenty of bars and restaurants, and within walking distance of many of Sydney's tourist attractions. The rooms are a decent size however a bit dated.

Customer service could be improved as a member of the reception staff walked away from us without explanation when we were asking her a question. We also found we had to explain ourselves multiple times to be understood.

The leisure facilities are adequate assuming nobody else wants to use the pool at the same time as you do (we struggled when we both tried to swim lengths in there!)

Parking is $55 dollars a night which we have found is quite cheap for the CBD! However it's worth noting these parking facilities are a different company that have a deal with the hotel, and do require you to hand over your keys upon parking.

Currently undergoing some facade restoration, still a great place to stay and the staff are excellent, the room is very comfortable, and still one of the most standout hotels in Sydney in its category. Bonus is the Irish pub downstairs!

Good location and this is good historical building. Very quiet inside of hotel even on the busy road. Good shower pressure and clean room.

One sad thing front staff laughed about me when I asked about old newspapers to dry out my wet shoes...I just didn t want to use hotel s towel for my dirty shoes...

Although the place is situated in a big hotel in the heart of Sydney, the food was not that great. I went there with my office colleagues for a team party. We were served with very regular options for food with limited options. With the amount of money, we paid for lunch and dessert menu I felt it was not satisfactory of what we got there. There was just one option in curry and literally no. options for vegetarians. There were hardly and entrees served. The ham, chicken and fish were average and was not tasting like any special dish. There were some options in desserts of which I tried coffee caramel pudding and creme brulee, which was again average. Altogether I don't see worth in spending money here. I would rather recommend star buffet.
