I had gone to the Gladstone to see an event that my school was holding called "The Chair Show" which was for the 2nd year industrial students. The Gladstone itself is super nice and at the time there was a music bingo happening at one of the bars so it was nice to do something before going to the actual event. Overall, it was a good experience but the only complaint I have is that the "Ballroom" where the Chair Show was being held was extremely hot. People would walk in and start to sweat after being inside for only a few minutes. That's the only complaint I have. Everything else was good. I also had dinner there which was awesome because they provide vegan options. And our server was also great. I would definitely go again in the future.

Beautiful space. Brunch was well priced and delicious. All four of us got different things and each loved our meals. The event room was small but gorgeous and everyone was friendly and polite. If you go ask to ride in their "cowboy elevator". It's fun :)

I very recently went to the Gladstone Hotel for the first time to grab a drink for a first date and my first observation was that this place is gorgeous- and very loud. The service at the bar was great and our server was extremely knowledgeable, but the getting to know you conversations were difficult as there was some kind of karaoke event being held. All in all it was a great experience, and next time I'll be sure to look into any other events that they'll be hosting beforehand!

Such a unique experience. Everyone was lovely, food was great and the Melody Bar was a great place to pop in for a post-shopping drink. Highly recommend staying in room 404 - Canadiana Room!

The rooms were nice, the hotel was clean, and the staff where helpful. The location is awesome with many cool bars right at your doorstep. The place reminds you of the old western movies like a horse and carriage would suit the outside just perfect. Truly a Toronto Legend.

We went to Melody Bar for a kareoke night, sadly they had problems with the software they were using. Atmosphere, cocktails and seating was mediocre. Our waitress was excellent. Food was not special but probably better than the average bar food. I liked some small details.

Awesome.

I have been going to the Gladstone Hotel periodically for nearly 40 years now ,ever since the early 80's and I cannot begin to tell you the complete turnaround that this establishment has made, not just in one area but in every single area as nothing was overlooked from the remodeling to the food, the staff WHO ARE INCREDIBLE by the way,the entertainment, the friendliness, the clientele and most certainly the ambiance that this majestic old building brings. I and a few of my close friends have really been impressed with the difference over a short period of time as in a few years not decades and the only thing that I cannot attest to are the rooms as I haven't rented a room there probably since the 90's even though way back then the rooms were drab and dingy they were always huge rooms with very high ceilings that even back then held great promise so I do wonder often what the rooms look like now seeing as the rest of the building has like I said has had a huge transformation that you can even see that all the staff hold great pride in this establishment and workplace. If you have never wandered in through those doors while living or visiting the Parkdale neighbourhood these days do yourself a favor and go in for a meal or cocktail as this NEW and IMPROVED fine establishment is well worth the visit as most of us Parkdaleians can attest too. It is also very easy to get to even via the TTC as the Queen 501 streetcar stops right in front of the Gladstone and is only one block east of Dufferin and Queen for more than one route to and from the old gal the Gladstone Hotel.

I was having a bad day and the item descriptions sounded new and not comforting.

I ordered the Sriracha burger.

It was so lovely. The lunch area is beautiful and open inside and the price wasn't bad.

Good experience. Nice bartender. Nice ambiance.

I attended the "Damn Fine Party" and was really disappointed. It was way too crowded, and the food was expensive on top of an already expensive ticket. There weren't a lot of activities to do and the music was really boring.

The Gladstone Hotel is a beautiful 5 Star hotel in my humble opinion. The Grand Ballroom is extremely elegant and if you're nostalgic then it's for you. Wedding receptions or corporate functions can easily be accommodated here. The dining room is a quaint room where a truly pleasurable dining experience awaits you. The bar area is stunning an architectural genius and delight for anyone who views the entirety. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the selections available. This is truly a hidden gem in Toronto. This hotel and its staff are supportive of the arts and LGBT communities. The drink prices are reasonable. The food seemed on the high end for price, but I guarantee that once you sample it, it's worth the money. I've dined at 5 star restaurants in the city and I would put their food up against any of the other restaurants. This hotel offers something for everyone who comes there. The architecture is second to none in the city. The second floor hosts a world renowned art gallery.

I've been to the cafe for food a couple of times and both have been very good. The menu isn't too big and everything looked really good. Friendly staff and good coffee. I love their chalkboard outside which is updated regularly with funny and witty messages!

Great place to visit on the weekend. There are three bars on the ground floor. When I went, one was closed, one had Karaoke, and the last had an 80's party. There is usually a crowd here on the weekends and the vibe is pretty good. The Gladstone is in the west end on Queen street. There are a few other bars and restaurants in the area. During the day queen street has a lot to offer in terms of food, drinks, parks and shopping.

The hashbrowns are bad. The bacon was cooked to the point of crumbling in my hands, lacked any taste. The eggs were standard, nothing fantastic, but not bad.
The bread weirdly was the best thing on my plate.
The coffee is likely the worst coffee I've ever had, and I'm used to drinking day old pots of coffee that taste like rocket fuel. When the server asked me if I wanted a refill my initial reaction was "please, oh god no!"

But i mean, the toast was fantastic.

Went to the Gladstone for Fameless Karaoke and had a great time! Place was pretty crowded but bar service was attentive and quick, as was food service. I am already planning another trip to the Gladstone soon.

Unique and authentic: The Gladstone blazed a trail for revitalizing not just the architecture but the spirit of West Queen West. It is the hub of one of Toronto's most vibrant and creative neighbourhoods. Whether it's the food, craft beer, cocktails, music, art, decor or event that draws you to this place, you're likely to come back because you'll never experience it all in one visit.
