We went for a music show and some drinks. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The band had no cover and was incredible which made buying drinks even more appealing

You are spoiled for choice as to where to drink on Queen west, but the Gladstone means you will always have something to see or do; whether it is karaoke or live music or a beer tasting there is always something fun happening here.

The hotel is amazing to host events as it gives two levels of space. I went there for a LGBTQ market and it was able to hold 50+ vendors allowing for a lot to take in. It's perfect and very lgbtq friendly!

Food and service is good. I find the layout kinda hard to navigate sometimes (like if your event is in the ballroom, having to go to the other side near the bar for a washroom). I also find the second floor and third floor a bit cramped for events

This is a great historical landmark of Toronto, the restaurant has a lovely menu and it's quiet and cozy with exposed brick. Great for brunch. The melody bar is often lively and features all kinds of entertainment from drag queens to karaoke. It's very accepting of all walks of life. The upper floors often have art gallery shows featuring local artists. A great place to check out if you are visiting the city, or living in it.

Different than expected. The charm was great. Expected the bar to have a cocktail list or some specialties. I would gladly go back. Queen West is super cool and the hotels history is very interesting

Went to a Halloween event here. The hotel itself was very nice, and they had a good selection of drinks, etc. However, the event itself was riddled with issues. As far as I know though, it was put on by a third party, so I don't want to fault the Gladstone too much for it.

Awesome all the way around. Great stay. Great staff.
I've only stayed here once, but I always recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking to have a very relaxed stay. The rooms are very nice and cozy.
Some rooms have bigger bathrooms.
Even smaller rooms have gigantic bathrooms for its room size.
For the entire setup of the Metro Hotel, it's surprisingly and relatively quiet.
Staying at the Gladstone Hotel really makes your vacation great!!

Went here for "brunch". It was a buffet style and when we got there (1pm) it was pretty much depleted despite the fact that they were serving it until 4pm. When they did replenish the tables it was not the entire buffet. I've had better continental breakfasts for cheaper. This cost me $50!!! We had two coffees, I had a beer. Not good value.

Brunch service and food is not the best. Ordered the doubles, and the bread was rock hard. Asked the waitress if the bread is supposed to be this hard (clanked the dish with the bread) and she said yes. Not sure how one can eat food if they cannot chew.

I sat down for breakfast at 9am and the food came at 9:35. It was a simple mini burger thing which I can't remember what it's called on the menu. The meat was burnt.

I also had lunch there, ordered a burger just to be quick to get back to class. It's the same burnt meat.

I don't recommend the hotel for food. The shawarma place across the street has better food for 3 times less money.

We were invited back this past Sunday for a re-visit after a slightly unpleasant experience a few weeks ago and the staff all went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had a fantastic visit. They made us feel very welcomed, important and valued. The food was delicious, the drinks came fast and the drag show was amazing. Special thanks to Samatha for checking in with us regularly to make sure everything was perfect. See you all next weekend!

I've been here 3 times since January to meet people for tea. Each time the staff have been fantastic. Love the greens and biscuits for a snack. The environment is carefully curated with a modern eclectic tone that adds just enough character and interest to compliment the building without being over the top. Get a pot of tea and see which teapot you'll end up with.

It's a very historic building on a very popular street and artistic neighborhood. It's a cool venue for live music. Bar staff are really nice compared to other venues. It has a very modern mixed with classic decor inside and one of those old elevatora that's like a cage with a person whose job it is to take people up and down throughout the building. It has two different bars inside and I think serves food. It must be about a hundred years or more, just like more there building connected to it along the queen st strip located right by a major rail route that probably brought visitor's to the hotel in the early days of Toronto, when south of it used to be a very big industrial centre for the war effort in the early 1930-40s. It should be on a tourists or Toronto local list of places to visit.

Both a great restaurant and gallery space. I can't comment on the hotel, but I've seen many shows here, and both the shows and the space are great. The bar is a bit on the expensive sidez, but the service and the drinks are well worth the money for what you'll find in this corner of the city.

Very cool hotel in the heart of West Queen West. We loved the individual rooms, the geat art and design all over the hotel. Welcoming atmosphere and good service. The Bar and Cafe in the lobby have also a nice cultural program. Just in the night its a bit too loud to sleep...but hey, thats life. Great spot in Toronto in a lively neighbourhood.

The managers went out of their way to be helpful. The renovated rooms kept the original character but were very pleasantly and tastefully beautified and updated. The beds are super comfortable. The old lift elevators are still in tact, manually operated which added to the Gladstone's charm.

We came in for a drink and to wait out the rain. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and we enjoyed our drinks. The brunch menu looked good, if we didnt just eat brunch elsewhere we would have given it a shot.

I've been attending exhibits at the Gladstone for the past four years and I'm never disappointed! Very diverse themes. Just recently tried the food and it's great as well, and at a reasonable price.
