Fun fun fun! Use Groupon when you can. Also get the unlimited slushies when you buy a special cup. I didn t enjoy the mini golf course due to its age, but other than that we had a really good time. Will go again and again for sure!

I have no doubt that my view of this place is jaundiced by my age (56) and frugality. We took our 4 year old grand-nephew there recently, and while he seemed to enjoy himself a bit (as much as I would have expected), I had a more miserable visit.
We started with bowling, me and the whippersnapper. "Two games, with shoes, $16" ended up being one game each. Seems a bit pricey for a single game on a lane that clearly sloped to the left. (Okay, so I lost to the whippersnapper. Still, for the money, the ball shouldn't slope...)
Next, the outdoor rides were closed (it was around 5 pm, and maybe there was a good reason, but I wasn't aware of one). That was okay, there were lots of indoor machines designed to take your mon... er, provide your kids with entertainment. I guess they did the job, somewhat. They sure emptied the expensive electronic card we'd loaded with credits fast.
We had tasty (but expensive) fries and overpriced drinks during the visit. All in all, it reminded me (in many, many ways) of a recent experience at Wildwood's boardwalks with the kids: fun, overpriced, and leaving you wanting more. At least we didn't have to drive two hours to feel like that...

Just had my daughters birthday party there yesterday she turned 12, was displeased because my reservation confirmation said 4:30-6:30, our party host made us clear everything out by 6 let me know at 5:50 things had to start going because there was another party coming in and she had to clean up, there also was only one slice of pizza and one drink cup provided for every hungry/thirsty child that plays for hours. Pizza is not that expensive they can afford to provide each child a minimum of 2 slices if they desired plus a slice for the only 4 adults that came to partake in my child s birthday party. Would not recommend this place for a birthday.

Went for the first time as a chaperone for my daughter's end of year trip and have to say the name is very accurate. Wasn't even aware that we had such a great place to take the kids to enjoy themselves rain or shine. Will definitely be returning during the summer as prices were affordable for a fun trip with the family to keep kids entertained.

Lots of things to do, prices aren't too bad. Wait line for the indoor rides are very fast. Good snacks at a reasonable price. Bring your own quarters for the lockers, they don't have change in the back where the lockers are at. Overall a pretty fun place for kids and adults

The worst place I have been to for a birthday party. Bunch of teenagers working there that don t pay attention . We gave them our jackets the lost them. I had to wait for the jacket for 30 min. all the stuff was very very rude. They lost my kids scarf which was her favorite one. My kid was crying in front of them about the scarf they did not even pay attention to it. They worst place!!!!

Took my 3 1/2 & 5yr old boys and they had a awesome time. Unfortunately they were limited to enjoy most of the outdoor rides
Playing all the arcade games made up for their disappoint
Overall my money was well spent because the entire ride home(Philadelphia resident) they could not stop talking about how much fun they had! Will go back when the weather gets warm so they are able to enjoy the water attractions
Gave it a 4 out of 5 because they were to little to get on the rides

The director of this place was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and very arrogant. I would never return to this place. They don't have a customer service center. You can't report to the better business bureau about them. No one is higher than the director, which is unprofessional. This place is privately owned by a man from china that you will never be able to make a report to. I will never return and bring my child ever again. I drove over a hour to get to this place to be disrespected by the director. I will never return to I see a more professional director, and I prefer him to be caucasian.

I dislike the Funplex ... After many unpleasent exspirences snd some pleasent
Its basically letting kids gamble and you always waste your money just to spend the tickets you get IF YOU GET THEM on little pieces of plastic that probably cost like less then a dollar to make.
Its very frustrating when you burn a hole in your pocket by wasting your money especially on claw machines and then you look over and a five year old goes up for their first try and gets the prize.
They have fun mini golf and rides but the arcade is very frustrating.
I know its suppost to be fun but the machines in the arcade should be easier please take this as advice. Also all of the things in the claw machines ,you SHOULD be able to buy with tickets.

FUNPLEX is an indoor and outdoor amusement park. B...

FUNPLEX is an indoor and outdoor amusement park. Bringing the Jersey Shore rides, food and games of chance to one location.

We tried the Sunday before Noon $25.00 admission. That gives you unlimited rides in the ride area, some arcade games and video games are included. You are given a wrist band that allows unlimited play. Those games available are flashing green on the swipe mechanism. Your wristband has an RF card that the reader recognizes for unlimited play. Lots of games are flashing Green. Rideable Motorcycles, 1st person shooter ganes and old Skool games like Asteroid and Miss Packman are some to choose from. I didnt play them all and I was there for three hours.

The rides are full size amusement rides like Tilt-a-whirl, air shot (sitting with legs dangling) spinning around, bumper cars (small and large) Go Karts (crowd favorite so you have to wait) 4D first person shooter. (Crowd chooses the game).

Laser Tag is included in the before Noon package.

There is a large area you walk into that is full of soft almost inert foam balls. The room consists of a center area with a large cauldron that you throw the balls (of which there is a multitude) inside. At some point you or someone else pushes a button and balls are sucked up by a vaccum and launched into the air falling all around. Walking a few feet up steps takes you to a catwalk surrounding the central pit. Along this catwalk are cannons that use a vaccum to shoot the balls into the area below. Kids yelling, balls flying all in a small area. Parents are also inside. And eventually they get into the action too.

Games of chance in the arcade are not included in the $25.00 admission. You can buy a card and preload your credits. Tickets are saved on the card for redemption when you leave or save them for another trip. The games of chance (the claw) are both Play until you win, and a One drop one chance (with minimal win). Stand games of chance exist.

In the ride area there are other games of chance. Spraying water. Popping balloons that give you a chance to win prizes of stuffed animals. It does create a Jersey Shore feel.

Food - the food is surprisingly very good. The pizza in the cafe is real dough risen pizza. The Quesadillas were very good with a large enough portion to take home. The Coffee was decent enough and not watery, burned or bitter. The pricing was about what you woukd expect for a captive audience but, the quality is way above what you usually find. So if you want to spend a little more eating is a quality option.

There is an entire outside water park and rides but, that doesn't open until Memorial Day. So I was unable to review that part of Playplex.

My son and I just came from funplex and there is only two games/rides he can get on. I asked if they could give me credit since we didn't do anything plus, I just spent $80 to get in because my son was two inches over. I recommend you don't take a toddler/preschool child there.

I went here on Friday and had an awesome time, better than i expected. I previously been to the one in East Hanover but that was almost 4 years ago for my son's birthday party. This location is awesome because of the outdoor rides and the mini golf (even though I didn't get to do it). My son enjoyed the waterpark very much and the outdoor rides were good. It wasn't overly packed that day, it was a good size of people. No major problems except the long line for food but that was kinda expected. It was 2 workers for how many ppl. I enjoyed the lazy river and the splash pad with the big bucket of water dumped on me. I just wished this place had a wave pool instead of 1 giant pool with basketball hoops in it. Overall it was worth the value paid for the place $45 for platinum band. Food wasn't absorbitant. I would definitely visit again.

My dad company picnic was here recently. Before that, I was here about 4 years ago. It has improved SO much since then! They added an outdoor mini water park and it's amazing. There is so much to do both inside and outside. Bathrooms are clean, staff is really nice and helpful and the games are awesome.

So much to do unfortunately if your child is under 42" then they really don't have much to do other then bowling and the arcade. My 3 and a half yr old was a littlw bummed out that she couldn't ride on the same rides as my 9 year old. But over all it was a good experience!

Horrible customer service !! Rachel and Cooper are both the worse . We weren t told before starting bowling that if wanted to more then a game there be a waiting list and it won t allow us to continue bowling. Felt completely disrespect by both of them as they did nothing to help my family try and joy something else . I had to try and speak to Cooper about giving us something else. As manager he did nothing to remedy the situation. DON T BOTHER with the trashy place !!!

This place is so much fun for the whole family. They have a fantastic special on Sunday where you pay 29.00 per person and can go on every ride and attraction all day. They have many outdoor water rides but they also have many indoor activities and are open all year long. They have a pool. A miniture golf course. They have bumper boats which are like bumper cars, which they also have, except on water which are incredibly fun. They have many many rides. You can go bowling or ride go carts. They have a foam rubber ball room for younger kid. The food prices aren't too bad. I fed a family of eight for 55.00. That included pizza, wings and soda. I strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to take their kids or to go to themselves. You will not be bored or sorry you came here. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

The host was was great for my child's party. However the place was packed .There were lines for everything. Our party was from 2-4 on a Saturday. The kids did not enjoy themselves, because they couldn't do everything because of the extremely long lines. Also in the party room.Another party guests sat at my childs party table. The other parties host ,should have to the party not to sit at my table. So I had to ask them to move.I will never visit again.

The funplex is a nice place to go for a few hours of fun. I have season passes for my family, which is good because we live down the street. Although they've expanded, I feel the water park is mediocre at best. It can get really crowded on weekends, so we usually go after 7. During the week we'll go after work for an hour of water play. The hour doesn't seem to fly by, as there's really not much to do in the water section. The outdoor rides are decent, and my kids love the new boat.

A company that my kid's go to was ripped off. $5000 for power bands for over 200+ kids adults included and we were told that the outside ride's were off limits, that only the inside ride's was what the kids could go on. First off the bands worked outside and the place was dead so why couldn't the kid's get on the rides? Also inside only had Lazer tag two kids bumper car rides tilt a twirl and a ball cage for babies and a virtual shooting game. Not enough ride's for the kid's we had and another camp no food or drinks was included at all. They definitely should come up with a better package for $5000 but needless to say we did ride those ride's so what ever on that Megan. Next time I'd rather just rent a party room or buy the band's for each kid. To me anyone who goes just buy the summer card for $99 you get everything and after three times you got your money worth.

It is not often you find a place that is equally fun and exciting for both adults and children. Funplex is definitely that place. I had an amazing time here at a team building event for work. The entire staff at Funplex was very friendly. Employee Courteney went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend Funplex for groups of all ages.

Dead on a Wednesday night "Party Night". Half the stuff looked closed or unattended. The Boardwalk games and snack booth were closed. It was just ok, not sure if it was worth the $15 flat fee per person.
