The venue was great. 5 stars. The bar service was horrible. 0 stars. I waited in line over 30 minutes on 3 different occasions for a beer (gave up twice). Half the show was wasted on incompetent bar service. If you plan on drinking at the Fox, sneak something in.

Have always had a great experience at the Fox. The staff is kind and friendly, the seats are more comfortable than other theatres I've been to, and they keep that bathroom line moving! And you can't beat that stage facade - so gorgeous. Very clean and exceptionally beautiful, the Fox should be on your list of must see for Atlanta!
Amazing Historical Concert/Broadway Facility, Beautiful vintage artwork, Relaxing vintage lounge. The Fox Theater is an awesome throw back experience. The acoustics are like a recording studio. YOU MUST VISIT THE FOX THEATER.
Do not see a Rock show from the balcony!! I saw one of my favorite bands of all time. Great performance! Horrible sound system if your anywhere in the balcony. It appears the Fox has done ZERO to help with echo, etc. Also, there sounded like a mic was left open for the whole show and NOONE noticed?? Hey Fox!! Turn the A/C on! The bass guitarist appeared to flick off the spot light person as they tried to actually give him some light near the end of the show. I think the band had a horrible time from the different weirdness that we saw, but mustered on delivered a great performance. I'll try and see them again in a more appropriate venue like the Tabernacle. I've seen numerous shows in the Tabernacle or Chastain and they were all good. This one was VERY hindered by the Fox. Wont do it again!
My husband and I got to Applebees at 11:05 PM Mine you they don't close untill midnight They tell us we can not serve any food. I said really and you don't close untill midnight it's only 11:05 dont think it was rite I ask for management some lady come up and tell me no more food. I said wow and we wanted for she stated only drinks from the bar. We you may as well say you guys close at 11pm insteat of midnight what a inconvenience So we just got a drink I want be coming here anymore
Saw Stomp here & it was awesome! Only drawback is that, unlike newer venues, there is such thing as "bad seats" so be prepared to pay big money or bring binoculars. Wouldn't stop me from going back though!
I really like this theater. However, my biggest complaint is the ticketing on their website. With all the extra fees its almost double the price of the tickets. You can go directly to the box office and not pay any fees. I think its really a scam how they rip you off online! Don't buy online - go directly to the box office.
Beautiful historic theater in Midtown Atlanta. Only disadvantage: if you are underneath the balcony the sound isn't very good. If you have good seats the experience is first rate
Tried to buy two tickets for the Sara Barielles concert (from the Fox theater site, not from ticketmaster or anything), by the time you tack on fees its the price of three tickets...Guess I'll see her another time at another venue.
A lovely facility but event parking is $40 and leave the cameras and multi-tools at home. So check the prohibited item list and maybe look into alternate parking options. Really neat interior.
The Fox is just the best...not a bad seat in the house . They need to do a better job with concessions though. Shouldn't take 45 min to get some beer and sour patch kids at a show that isn't even sold out. Do yourself a favor and load up that purse (or murse)
Love the Fox Theater. Great selection of live performances. Love that they have a summer movie series. Ample parking near the area. Overall, its a fantastic experience.
Beautiful venue. If you are sitting in the dress circle and female, know that you will not make it out of the bathroom line at intermission before the show restarts. Happens to me everytime. Also, there are not a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. Again, it's a beautiful venue and we will continue to frequent.
This is such a beautiful theater. If your seats are on the floor beneath the mezzanine make sure you walk to the front of the theater or to the second floor to look at the ceiling. The concessions are pricey as is the case with any theater. The staff and ushers are always very friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor smoking area for the nicotine junkies . If you're a woman and you find yourself in a very long bathroom line on the main level go to the basement where there is a very large women's restroom with a much shorter line.
The Fox theater is our favorite place to see a Broadway musical. Beautifully decorated with the ceiling done as a night sky. You are easily transported to another world. Plan your parking (several pay lots nearby) and arrive at least 30 minutes early. You do have to go through a bag check.
Great place to watch a show as most seats are good. Seats marked as obstructed view are a great discount and only have a very small portion of the stage out of view.
This place is breath-taking. It's worth coming here just to look at it! The ushers were really nice and told me the history. There are also tourels apparently.
I went to see Hamilton. It was the best experience I've had all year. We set is orchestra level in row KK. Or we could see everything on the stage very well but it was hard to see the details on the actor and actresses faces. When I return I will get seats that are a little closer. The rows are really close together so that is a little uncomfortable. But otherwise it is a beautiful establishment.
Watched the nutcracker. Amazing atmosphere and pretty good acoustics! The seats are a little low so it s hard to see stuff if you re short. Bathrooms are small compared to how many people the theater fits. Great location in the heart of midtown!
Classic venue with a classic look. Take a selfie out front with the iconic sign and nostalgic doormen. I just wish the sound was more consitant. All too often shows are plagued by poor audio, dialogue thats piercing loud or vocal will stick out so much it's obnoxious. One night the audio will be fantastic and the next show it will be terrible. Tickets are just too expensive for it to not be consistent.
One of my favorite places in Atlanta. A charming historic place I saw my favorite band and the Nutcracker within 1 week of each other! I've been there at least 1x/yr throughout my life, and it still just as fabulous. My biggest recommendation - get good seats if you want good sound, because under the balcony isn't great. Up close or lowest balcony is worth the price.
I have been to this theatre for multiple occassions. The first time I was here, we were filming a movie and the staff was really nice to our film crew. They allowed us to use their beautiful space and treated us as we were their guests.
The other times were to watch stand up comedy and I had a blast. Not only have I been lucky enough to see Chris Rock in one occasion and Trevor Noah on another, but everything the theatre provided made the shows a more enjoyable experience. The seating is comfortable, the sound quality is fantastic, and the beautiful sky ceiling is dreamy. I have sat both in the orchestra and in the upstairs balcony and both are enjoyable. Although for obvious reasons, I'd go for the orchestra.
I've also had the luck to spend time at the Marquee club and it is something I highly recommend. The decor and service is phenomenal. The managers are all very lovely to speak to and very accomodating. Miss Maddie at the entrance door to greet you is the sweetest. The bartenders all make exquisite drinks. Matt, the bartender makes exceptional cocktails. Make sure to try them. I love showing up before entering the theatre and ending a good show with dessert and a drink. Cheers.
The theater comfortable. The seats were mid theater and the view of the stage very good. Parking garage right across the street with a quick exit open after the show.
