Nice hotel bang in the heart of the city centre. The staff were lovely. The room was lovey. The breakfast was the AMAZING!
Great boutique hotel and wonderful unobtrusive staff - one of my fav places to stay.
My favourite hotel to stay while in Belfast. Beautiful rooms and the best location.
Came for our anniversary and the place was truly special! Thank you for everything!
A luxurious base for a Belfast stay. Gorgeous rooms, great facilities, and fantastic service!
We stayed in a city view suite on the 9th floor. The room was incredible, and the staff even better. Visiting from out of country I was hard pressed to find a dinner reservation at one of Belfast's best restaurants. Phillip and Gerard in concierge got me one without a problem and were of great assistance throughout the weekend. Can't reccomend this place enough.
I had an amazing stay here. They have thought about all the detail and the service is extremely professional. I was mega impressed. If you re going to Belfast you won t be disappointed staying here. The gym is not quite a gym and could do with modernising but other than that everything else is excellent. I was particular impressed by the quality of the the room service food. It was a nice touch to come for my second stay here with a welcome note and treat
Have stayed at the Fitzwilliam multiple times over the past couple of years while away work. The hotel is impeccably finished and the staff are always fantastic and very welcoming! The only annoying issue is the tiny car park which is often More
One of the best hotels in the world. It is extremely pricey....but the customer service of the staff and arrangement of the rooms make up for it. One of the best I have ever seen. Highly recommended. It comes with a full bath and separate shower, full bar, candles, and the best scented shampoos and bath oils made from essentials. I just loved my stay
Really enjoyed our stay for one night. It is a beautiful hotel and our room was fabulous. The concierges were amazing, very friendly and welcoming to myself and my partner. Breakfast was lovely and the room service great. Could not fault anything, thank you to all the staff for making our stay a special one.
Beautiful hotel staff very approachable Georgeous afternoon tea and u can sit as long as u want. Well impressed
I went for afternoon tea with my daughter on Saturday 29th August. We had a lovely afternoon the food was gorgeous with a great selection of savoury and sweet goodies. The attention friendliness and professionalism of the staff was first class. Unfortunately I dont know their names, but if they read this thank you for giving myself and my daughter a lovely mother daughter afternoon out. We will definitely be back.
Dreadful night at the Fitzwilliam Hotel on Valentines.
When you pay to stay in a hotel of this stature you would expect a 5* experience. Unfortunately for my partner and I, this was not the case. We would have been better off in the Jury's Inn next door.
Cannot fault the daytime receptionist or our server at dinner who were both exemplary. They were the only saving grace of our stay.
After our dinner on Valentines evening is when our stay took a turn for the worse. Approximately 10:45pm we were on our way out to enjoy the rest of the evening, when we only made it to our lift on the 7th floor. It became obvious that there was an awful commotion coming from a room at the end of the hall, we heard screams for help. As we got closer to the room we heard furniture being smashed, the sound of a woman being assaulted and to our horror, a child crying for help. My partners maternal instincts kicked in and she knocked the door. We were met by a young lady whom had clearly been the victim of a serious assault. There was drug paraphernalia all over the room, only covered by a dense cloud of cigarette smoke. We were then both threatened by the male aggressor and he lept towards us to attack me. We then asked the girl to come with us so we could get her help. We left the room to report this to reception albeit on the way we met the security guard and informed him. We continued on and reported it to the night receptionist. Unfortunately the 5* service does not carry on past 10pm. I complained about what happened and I was informed this is a normal occurance in the hotel - Yes you read that correctly. He then went on to say that not two years ago on Valentines night a guest at the hotel had hung himself in his room. This horrified me and left my partner in an awful state. She wanted to leave the hotel at this point - the 5* hotel I had booked for us to have a perfect romantic break was not a reality. I convinced her to stay but we weren't able to enjoy the evening we had planned and we went back to our room. After a night with little sleep I brought it to the attention of the duty manager she apologised and said she would try to resolve our confidence in the hotel.
As we checked out we were given a telling off - the hotel would not accept any liability for us potentially saving a vulnerable woman and a child. That she was sorry our stay was ruined and offered me 25% off my stay.. Fabulous. You would think we would AT THE VERY LEAST, been afforded another nights stay to rectify what we experienced or something a bit more generous than 25%.
Will I stay again or recommend this hotel to anyone? - Absolutely not.
5 star experience? - Far from it.
Good service and friendly staff! Clean and spacious rooms. Also very convenient location
Horrible check-in. Probably the worst. As a hotel manager myself for a hotel in Dublin City Centre, the receptionist just wasn t professional at all.
After much debating and refusing to leave the reception area, we was granted the room without access to the mini fridge!
That s absolutely fine as we wasn t expecting to stay in the room apart from sleeping, but to nearly withhold our room due to not having our bank card details (which is obviously only used on the contents of the mini fridge) is quite bad in my opinion.
With all that s said, the bar area is beautiful and the bar staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
I will not be returning due to rude check-in staff which is the be-all and end-all to the beginning of ones trip.
Fabulous Hotel, pure luxury. Staff are excellent, when you see a staff member stand back to let an 8 year old child (who isn't even staying at the hotel) pass, it shows true quality
Amazing hotel! Good standards! Amazing food! Very clean! Had good sleep! One of the best hotels I stayed! And I did travel a lot New York Las Vegas Europe! Very high standards! The reception staff made me welcome from the time I stepped into the hotel! Thank you for amazing stay!
Great decor and friendly staff. I could not ask for more from a hotel
Nice hotel, great service. Central location. Friendly staff. 10/10 woyld go again. The only problem with the hotel was they didnt let us bring our dragons to stay with us.
A lovely hotel which we had afternoon tea in service excellent and food delicious.
Service and room quality were both great, felt the price of the breakfast was not worth it. However overall value was great. Location also excellent
Loved this hotel. Very modern. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I just loved the stay.. but the rates are little high as its in the heart of the city
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, awesome location!! Simply stunning.
Central location rooms outstanding and food top class
Staff can be very condescending, bordering on rude, towards those customers who aren't as obviously wealthy as others. We're all customers, we should all be treated the same regardless of archaic views on dress sense.
Stylish rooms, great staff and the food and wine selection is top notch
The staff are just lovely, very helpful & pleasant. Food is full of flavour & cocktails are quality
Excellent hotel , fantastic staff , great rooms & great central location in Belfast
Great location close to main attractions and shops. Restaurant disappointing. Nice but not 5 star nice.
Room was very underwhelming. Stayed in a suite with a great view of the bins. Doubt I'll be back.
Stayed here with my wife last year. Lovely room. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. Nice bar also.
room a bit small for the 3 of us but extraordinary service and a very nice property.
A great night away experience, lovely room and very comfy bed great sleep, food and drinks excellent along with fantastic friendly staff. Thanks
Jill and Steve Hughes
Lovely hotel and most of the team were lovely and helpful
Was only in for cocktails on a Friday evening .. plrasant but not much atmosphere and expensive cocktails that weren't consistent in how they were made .. ordered a second aviator and had to send it back as it tasted nothing like it should .. replacement was just ok. Bar staff must have changed in between.
The staff at this hotel are very professional, friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The breakfast was a great addition to our stay as there aren t many breakfast options close by early in the morning. Rooms are very well kept and furnished in a very modern moody style.
The five stars are all there from reception to breakfast
Stunning hotel really lovely rooms and in Belfast city centre
we attended a cocktail making class as a work event! was fun and the staff we very attentive and welcoming!
New and modern. Staff is very attentive and helpful.
Beautiful hotel, well located. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Service is fantastic. Really enjoyed our stay.
Pleasant, modern hotel with great service and a decent restaurant.
Beautiful hotel that lived up to expectation. Staff extremely helpful and room as you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Only let down was breakfast. Not a lot of choice and quite a few things ran out and weren't replaced.
Excellent all round.... You could not ask for more!
Great room City View recently decorated Very helpful staff lovely cocktails Breakfast good too
Beautiful hotel, friendly and welcoming staff, great service, delicious food.
Like very much... good food service a bit slow tonight '! but recommend highly !
Was there for a work/social function, have no complaints about the service, everything was fine
This is a beautiful Hotel. Very central. All staff , Bar, Restaurant and Bedrooms excellent. Faultless.
Went last valentine's (2018) and will return again great for a few days away as a treat . Spend a bit extra for a good view and one of the better rooms well worth it . Room service and the whole experience is amazing
Fabulous hotel, food excellent, beds are super comfy and staff are all very friendly, nothing too much trouble. We had a beautiful, relaxing evening.
Beautiful hotel.. Fantastic service.. Very centrally located... Highly recommended
Fantastic modern hotel.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Stayed in a Superior room and it was amazingly comfortable and spacious.
Brilliant and tasty cocktails available at the bar.
Right on the edge of the city centre a short taxi ride or a few minutes walk into the heart of Belfast
Well placed in the city, impeccable service, spacious and clean rooms, effective concierge, "valet parking", we would stay there a few days more.
The breakfast is a bit fancy, as the hotel is rather big, but the rest is well organized to feel good
Excellent hotel. Great breakfast and central location. In Belfast would not stay anywhere else after our stay over the weekend great experience and real 5* hotel
The bar is great one of the best in town. Staff are very friendly and helpful
Great hotel in the centre of Belfast with excellent service.
Nice hotel, good spot close to nice bars and great shopping!!
Nice food, not bad service. Though it is lacking a little atmosphere.
Having only dined in the restaurant itself, I cannot comment on the hotel in its entirety. With reference to my personal experience however, I found the staff highly accommodating and the service second to none. My only issue concerned the waiting times for food. A firm 4 out of 5.
Superb hotel with spacious and equipped rooms
Quality staff and concierge service
The service and comfort is as you would expect from a five star hotel first class
Very modern, efficient but electrical and plumbing controls suck.
