Amazing ribs. Both the beef and pork were excellent. Quite small though and the restaurant has a tendency to fill up quickly, so build this into your plans if you're thinking of making a visit.

I went to this place when it was formerly Thomas St restaurant - I mention this only because Cane & Graine have transformed the space. Although it is fairly dark and busy (similar decor to Hula bar around the corner - you will also notice the distinct smell of Zombies!), it is a comfortable space. Basically, very different to former white airy space.

We sat on the top floor in a big group for a friends birthday - the food was nice, I had the crispy beef salad, which was amazing (radish, bean sprouts, corriander), my only criticism was that there wasn't more of it. I did also sample some of my friends food and the ribs were beautifully tender!

Its what you expect for a NQ restaurant, fairly chilled out. But, its nice they've gone for a slightly different theme with the ribs.

Worth a visit.

An okay bar in the Northern Quarter. Clearly would like to be a night club so they whack the music volume up so that you have to shout at your friends. No dance floor so having a boogie isn't really an option making the music volume level unnecessary.

Booze selection and prices are fairly typical of the area.
