Nice cocktails, some good beers (mostly canned). BBQ chicken wings were nice, although not exceptional. There was live music at the bar upstairs, a rotating performance of different musicians, I've enjoyed it quite a lot.

I used to go here when it was Thomas Street and Cane and Grain is totally different! It's very deep south themed with their sticky and dry rubbed ribs and for anybody wanting to try something a little different you should go for the Ting flavoured sauce. The waitress recommended it to me and my friend - it sounds odd but tasted incredible.

They also have a speakeasy themed bar which we didn't get time to look at but I'll definitely visit in the next few weeks. This bar might just be my new favourite watering hole.

Lovely New York style bar located on Thomas Street in the Northern Quarter. Huge selection of craft bottle beer, hand pulled ale and draft larger. Try the longboard on draft for a refreshing larger.

Consistently excellent bar.

Consistently excellent bar.
1st floor is beers and some cocktails, half decent atmosphere. Pretty nice.
2nd floor is fabulous. Speak easy styled, low light bar that does excellent cocktails.
3rd floor is alright, gimmicky tiki bar with a really good dark rum selection.

Went here the other day for some drinks with friends and the cocktails are truly amazing! watching the drinks get prepared alone is worth coming for. The bartenders like to make a show out of it. I had a great time there!

Gets crazy busy at the weekend, but that's because it's doing something right. Good beer, cocktails, and food. The soundtrack is loud and lively (you're as likely to hear skate punk as you are 70s funk). Worth a visit for sure

Amazing place, food is top class and very well priced. If you like your Ales then no better place, huge selection of Draft, Bottle and Cans. Weekley Specials on Ales and Monthly Brewer Special too. Interior is amazing with loads of time, effort and thought gone into it. Very friendly staff to boot.

Its great !! Very cool place, European type pub (it is a little away from English) with a good beer list and some snacks. A little expensive the beers but neither excessively. I would go back and recommend it.

Food was a miss this time round unfortunately. Mainly because everything was weirdly dry. Baby back ribs were very dry, so were the chicken wings, so were the plate of sausages!? (I don't even know how the chef made a dry plate of sausages). The side of greens was steamed and that's it - no oil or salt or anything so they were dry too. Service and the place were good though (and the sweet potato fries were excellent)

Looked at the menu online, looked good, so booked a table. The ordering service (different from most restaurants) is strange. Scanned the code to order food and they had literally about 4 things on the menu, absolutely pointless. Walked straight back out. At least make an effort and up date your website or put a note on. Poor.

Avoid this place at all costs. Booked for a group of 14 lads for a stag do and even contacted them in advance to check they accepted stag do s and fancy dress and was told no problem, so we booked and paid deposit. When we arrived door staff were rude and point blank refused entry - when asked for deposit back they said no. We had to take the stag another 20 mins back to hotel to change and even when we got back was told not to make a noise, there was a group of 5 lads who were far more nosier than us and door staff did nothing.

Bar staff did nothing to assist us and just said door staff ruled. Food was dry, bland and tasteless to the point where majority of us only ate a third. We paid our bill, refused to leave a tip and left. Would never go back and never recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic Service with good food and fantastic cocktails. I had the brisket sub and sweet potato fries loaded with cheese. The staff were very helpful when checking regarding allergies for me. Good music and great atmosphere. Americana skater and dive vibes. Came with a group of 4, managed to be seated straight away on a Sunday whilst out with the girls. Food came quickly, team were very polite! 5*

Visited during their January 50% off food promotion. Typical trendy vibe found throughout the NQ with decent beer selection. I liked their house pilsner far more than I expected to. As for the food, both myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - full ribs and a large portion of chips. Chips look sorry for themselves but they are very tasty indeed, don't be fooled. Ribs are tasty and cooked well. We also indulged with chicken wings and burnt ends as extras. So much food and it couldn't be finished so we took advantage of their doggy bag service. Staff were very friendly and available quickly. Lovely surprise for a Sunday afternoon

Really cute and trendy spot with good southern food choices and cocktails. As a Southerner myself, the food was pretty good, despite not being necessarily authentic American Southern cuisine. I ordered several small/starter plates together because I wanted to try several things. Definitely recommend the Mac n cheese and collard greens.

Didn't eat, but came and propped up the bar for a few drinks (pints of very decent San Miguel). Big fan of the decor, the graffiti bar top and especially the tiled wall.
Food smelt really good when it was brought out and the bar staff were friendly enough.
