Food was very nice, service was great. Friendly staff.

Great facilities for a wedding. Terrace and indoor spaces clean and comfortable. Food and drink really good. Nice efficient staff. Toilets a bit scruffy.

Went here for a Tidy Boys rave, was a pretty good venue.

Has got better in recent years. Food is very good, limited parking.

Beautiful garden. Absolutely lovely on sunny days. The selection of beer is ok for what it is. Not tried the food.

Really nice, especially with the outside bit, but EXPENSIVE.

I photographed a wedding here and was surprised to see how much outdoor and garden space there is. It's got great outdoor areas for a city centre venue. The conservatory is huge and makes a good room for the wedding ceremony.
Food was very good!

Just attended a wedding reception here. Food was good, service attentive and the terrace, conservatory and other rooms provided space for us to mingle and chat. I would be a bit concerned that on a hotter day the conservatory we be unbearable as a dining room. We just survived today. Drinks were reasonably priced with a good selection of beer.

Out of the way , nice beer garden outside in the middle of hospital/university campus. Although mostly professional people seem to frequent.

Visited here as a guest at a friends wedding. The venue is amazing and was a beautiful place to celebrate the occasion. The staff were pleasant and were more than happy to help guests. Bar prices are around the average for a wedding bar with lots of choice. Food was delicious and presented well. The size of the location was very good there is a drinking patio leading to a dinning area, there is a separate area for the evening party that has lots of room. Not too far from the centre of town and hotels. Great location.

Lovely venue, was a great size for the wedding I attended. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Couldn't fault it :)

Invited here for a wedding. The outside area and decking area were really nice, and the facilities good. However access for the disabled and wheelchair bound was really poor as the whole building was only accessible by stairs!
Service was only average, more staff would have been an advantage, considering the amount of guests.
The Faversham is only open to the general public on occasions when the university students are away at the end of term.

Really nice food and great decor. The outside seating area is lovely and they have used recycled pallets for garden furniture. Much quieter in summer when the students have gone home.

Hit and miss- my meal was fine (good portion size, not oversalted), but other dishes in my party were overcooked

Lunchtime bite of a very tasty Haloumi sandwich, with an amazing salad. Friendly staff, great service

The food is usually quite nice but some of the staff are extremely rude to customers and a young man with grey hair and a star tattoo on his neck comes across as particularly unwelcoming. He'll barge through people waiting to be seated without an "excuse me, please" but with a huff, he'll tell customers to order at the bar when the other staff say not to, he has no welcoming patter or smile, seemingly lacks every skill needed for a customer facing role - I have worked in service industry management myself so see this both as customer and provider.
They also have real issues with stock control, with such a small menu they shouldn't be starting a day without one item, let alone several of the items. It has become a running joke to ask "What isn't on today?".
The soup is always very good, I think it is home made.
The man with a ponytail and the very petite waitress should train the others in politeness and common courtesy. Then it would be a much nicer place to eat.

Over priced. Nice terrace but the staff have attitude problems.

I ve been here a couple of times for both lunch and dinner and it s been quite inconsistent to be honest. Sometimes it s really nice, other times it s unacceptable long waits for both orders and the food to arrive, and the food quality. Not a lot of options for a paleo eater either.

This is supposed to be an event venue. The place is very industrial, the toilets are very cold with collapsing floor in one of the cubicles. It was a good venue for a Christmas party. Although they needed more bar staff. Not suitable as a wedding venue.

Nice bar with occasional live music. Slightly pricey menu, but ideally located for the University.

Went here for my brothers wedding bar staff were excellent when needing to store my newborns milk and their service was wonderful! Alot of fun and would love to have an event here again

Fabulous day for my sisters wedding, venue is perfect, beautiful rooms and lots of space for kids to run round, also perfect if you want to keep your party all in one place. The food was delicious and the staff couldn t do enough. Lucie and George the managers made sure that my sisters day was perfect from start to finish. Thank you.

A great pub with a homely atmosphere that's frequented by locals and students alike. Cheaper than most, though this is reflected by the fact that the pub (especially the outdoor cubby hole areal could do with a scrub. This may take away some of the place's charm, however.

Smart pub on the Leeds university campus, providing a nice alternative to the union bars. Good food and range of drinks. Nice conservatory space and outdoor deck for the summer.
